No he didnt produce this track...scott storch did..look it up scott has a few vids on RUclips where hes playing the piano of this beat and talks about working with dre
@@mikenojones6861 You're right. I totally forgot about Storch. He's a genius!! But as you said: both of them worked together, so I think both of them build this beat.
I'll never forget when this song first came out. Pure talent.
Right
Probably rather practice instead of talent ;)
My kid is learning to play this classic on the piano, love it!!! 🥰
I watched this ten times and I just realized the guy playing the piano was actually Dr Dre
The clue is in the name of the video you dumb fuck
Marco Pierre White i started dying when i saw the “you dumb fuck” 😂😂😂
Sneaky_foo666 At least I don’t make shitty edits you little piece of shit
Marco Pierre White Issa joke you dumb fuck
@@heisenberg4406 ur way too touchy my guy 😬
I'll love to be in his level of music someday.. the level where you'll feel accomplished. That's a great level.
Donald J. Trump Ye is probably a better producer tbh
Donald J. Trump DJ Khaled is a better producer tbh
@Donald J. Trump Max Martin? George Martin? Quincy Jones?
D.r.e will always be king!!! What an musical genius !
One of the greatest hits ever!
The first song is “smoke gets in your eyes” - an old jazz standard
Nice
thanks i was looking for it
wow he was really about to go in on a jazz piece then the dude hit him with the old " lemme hear one of the classics" :(
I think it was ‘Round Midnight by Thelonious Monk. I could be wrong tho.
He will take it to his grave 😂 before somebody let him play it
But what was the jazz piece he was gonna play? It sounded good
@@roamingmushroom5167
I literally said it
It sounds like he was just doing a 2-5 chord progression in Eb so probably misty can’t be round midgnight that’s in Gb
Just CLASSIC....Dre forever the 🐐 before ppl starting calling ppl the 🐐 🔥🔥🔥
that thing he was playing at first was so fire, i hate that we only got a snippet of it
Chills…..everytime those chords drop!!
Always ✌️
Hell yeah! Love that hook
This brightened up my day
This is awesome! I'll never forget when they album hit
scott storch wrote this lol. Nice one Dre
Exactly
Glad to hear you guys know of Scott Storch 🤣
Is anybody gonna talk about that beautiful melody he played in the beginning?
Yeah I had no idea that Dre was so good at piano lol
@@yamingoat when I say he was bad a piano. I was just complimenting the melody he played.
He will never die especially after the movie.
I actually LOVED and LOVE hearing his playing early in the vid :)
Get better bro we can’t afford to lose another musical genius. 🙏🏻
Poor Dr Dre just wanted to play Beethoven but then his nephew had to walk in and be like “YO PLAY THE PIANO SONG WIT DA SNOOP MAN”
some reason doc being happy ( of him remembering of past) makes me feel happy and sad
Can‘t stop watching man dre is a legend
Scott wrote that melody and Jay Z wrote the lyrics. Including Snoops verse.
who cares, mate?
@@NEEZY1337 I mean it’s important to understand that these popular songs don’t come out of one person but a collaborative effort
AND DRE PACKAGED IT AND YOU BOUGHT IT.
You don’t say?! 😳🤭👀
TIL
And even when I was close to defeat... I rose to my feet!✊🏾
My life is like soundtrack to the beat
im stoned right now and this is so fcking nice. hes a legend and that song by himself on the piano is so awesome feels good man. Greets from munich
I just moved to munich from america and its beautiful !
How’s the weed in Munich? Would love to live there one day.
@@JamesEtc3417 pretty expensive haha but the quality is alright
it would be a lot cooler if u did
@@JamesEtc3417 you can get shit and really good weed and also Cali
Getting these flashbacks from back in the days 😭
See you all on 10 years when this is recommended to you!
Dr Dre didn’t even come up with the ‘Still Dre’ tune on piano, Scott Storch did. He was working for Dre at the time in the studio.
Side note: this is actually Scott Storch's beat, not Dre's.
Dre can barely play.
@@christopherlondon7382 have some respect. Hes had an aneurysm in the last few days.
@@christopherlondon7382 this vid is at least a couple years old anyways
@@potto1488 lmao this vid was waaaay before that
@@MrFunnyHandsInYourPants Yes, and his comment was within a few days of mine
Makes me feel some kind of nostalgia with a smile I can't wipe off❤️🔥😎✌️
Damn I see those 4 Grammys
Pretty good, Scott Stortch actually came up with the melody and whole beat, crazy talented producer to be working w dre

That's why the video of him playing it looks so much more natural
