- In this video, I'm sharing How To Make a Slow Stitch Book Sleeve. This is Part 2 where I will share some slow stitch tips to help you add some texture and interest to the surface.
I'll focus on the front of my book today. I am going to use circles as my main motif, but I will explain how to create a pleasing composition, and how to use colour to bring your work to life.
Look out for part 3 when I will add embelishments and work on the back of the book sleeve..

Coming along nicely. I really like that.
Thanks so much ☺️
This is amazing, Rebecca! I've been thinking about doing some crazy quilting lately - and now that I've seen these two videos, I've absolutely no excuse for not trying it :))) Thank you so much! Everything you do is such an inspiration!
So glad you enjoyed it. I hope you do give it a go. I am having so much fun! 😁
Excellent progress. Looking forward to seeing the final product. ❤👍from Somerset
Thanks so much. I am really enjoying it. I love how the circles look. I just need to control the edges of the pieces a bit more now. 🤗
Love the circles! My quilt group did that stack and whack technique a few times for charity quilts. No raw edges though, all machine pieced.
I need to have a go at some proper blocks. Maybe when I make my own sleeve, zip will machine piece it and compare the two.
