This a great video. Have researching the ipace with all the usual mainstream media reviews. This guy is honest calm and down to earth with the odd bit of comedy genius like the child in the boot. Loved it and subscribed !

Thanks, Neil. I've been researching the 2020 model. Former US F-Type driver myself. Well done all around, and appreciate your progression from park-to-drive. Also shout out to the Canon cam user in the back seat catching the action during the video.

Do we know anything about how reliable these cars are? I don't see much info on them. have had really bad experiences with JLR products in general

How did you get the PiVi pro software on a 2020 I-Pace? I thought that was only available from 2021 onwards....

With reference to your charging speed on DC chargers, put the hazard lights on before you plug the charger in. You’ll find it improves the charging curve. I know it sounds odd, but just try it.

Thanks for the suggestion, never had the opportunity to try that but interesting if it works.

Looking at the same car for a possible purchase, same color and year with under thirty thousand miles. Test drove one before and loved the driving experience

great review , im interest in a 3 year old one ,
would be nice to know if it had developed
many problems and what kind of cost it incurred

The iPACE proved to be a great car and never developed any issues during it's time with us. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Do you know when the charging speed got improved?

It was the '22 year model onwards.

Have you tried an AC charger with higher amps?

  • @thetad1242
    @thetad1242 Год назад +1

I think it's unnecessary to reverse to chargers, the charger should be where Jaguar , nissan puts it. In front

Certainly agree for a lot of models where it makes sense. Thanks for the comment.

Don't I pace cars all have LG chem batteries in them. Didn't LG chem batteries cause fires on chevrolet bolts and hyundai konas that the batteries all had to be replaced to prevent spontaneous thermal runaway and fire ? Is this why they are not very good sellers ?

Have this car and I don't like it
It's Fast in acceleration and thats about it
A complete waste if you travel long distances and fear of recharge is spot on
Fed up counting my journey in km and pre searching charge points along the way
There are numerous charge point companies you have to sign up to
A complete pain in the behind
My husband now drives this and I may get slated on here but I'd rather fill up €150 in Diesel and drive a Range Rover
If you don't own an ipace lucky lucky you
More hassle than anyone needs in their already busy life 😮
