Traded my 2019 Tesla Model 3 in for a 2022 I-Pace and it was the best car buying decision I ever made. I really believe it's the best all-around car on the market. The poor rear visibility becomes a non-issue when you equip the ClearSight digital rear view mirror and the interior quality is unmatched. Especially considering the physical rotary dials that almost every other luxury EV is missing. After two years with the Model 3 I've learned that adjusting everything through a touch screen becomes very frustrating very quickly. Also the off-road capabilities of I-Pace make it even more versatile. The cherry on top is the incredible service I've received through Jaguar. They made the buying process quick and easy and even gave me a loaner car while tinting the front windows of my I-Pace. Something Tesla never did while my Model 3 was in the shop on two different occasions. I highly recommend the I-Pace if you're looking for a quality EV.

Best car I’ve ever owned, insane how affordable they became start of this year. Test drove a model 3 too and it just felt so cheap and plastic, as impressive as Tesla are technically, the car felt designed for a computer enthusiast whilst the I-Pace feels designed for a driver and has the best luxury interior with the Santorini black paint and cream interior plus panoramic roof

Driving a car is a connective experience not just a ride. Interior detail is stunning. I hope one day they can push the battery tech to at least 400 miles.

Just picked up one Today! Love it! although the 11kw onboard charger I don't think can be used at home unless you have 3 phase electricity which the vast majority of people don't have. So I will have to make do with 7Kw.
Hey Jonathan thanks for the comment 🤗 that Awsome news congrats on the purchase. Yeah I think the vast majority of homes have 7kw unless they upgrade. I think it saves about 4 hours difference so not a huge issue. Thanks for chatting 👍🏽
Frankly, I LOVE the Jaguar I-PACE! it drives like no other EV, its luxurious, and looks amazing! For most people (considering the price of similar car, this isn't a bad car to buy, though I always point out the VW ID4 maybe? The 11KW charging upgrade fixes the biggest issue I had with it. The thing is, if you're going to be driving this car aroudn town, commuting to work, charging at home most days with occasional road trips, then the DC charging limits are tolerable, but VW can do 125KW charing, and has a flat curve so charges pretty fast, and something like an Audi etron 55 ha quite a bit more room (so does ID4), and the Charging on road trips for the Audi is just what makes the difference. If you buy the car for road trips, in a place like where I live where 150KW DC fast chargers (and 350 KW ) are quite frequent to find, etron makes more sense. in 15 mins I can get from 10-50 percent on etron (that takes about 25mins in Jag), and in the 35 minutes I'd get to 60-65 percent on the Jaguar, the etron would be somewhere over 90%. I could spend like, 20-25 minutes on an Uadi and I'd leave with with 80-85 percent charge, while it woudl take closer to 45 minutes to go 10% to 80% on i-Pace I actually don't ind that, and I think that the Jaguar is the car I'd get despite the faster charging b/c I'm willing to go to a charger after driving for a few hours (2 to three hours) and walk for maybe 30 minutes or so? if you want to go form charger to charger and spend as little time (15 to 20 minutes) tthe etron would be the car to go, which has more room, etc... However, the Jag is cheaper, anda gain, that's a huge deal for me. the driving dynamic, the JLR design offroad capability is also something that should be mentioned (its atually impresive) and the way it looks like a normal car, non EV, and the interior feel of the car... Yeah. I LIke the Jag. (I like the black, but the black does get rid of some of the nice accents on the car with the black appearance) So, I kinda agree with you, but I'd mention Audi etron (and the less luxurious ID4 or Audi Q4) because those do charge faster for road trips.

Pick mine up on Thursday, a 22 plate HSE Black with 22 inch wheels. I know the ride is a bit harsher and range will go down but the 22s look great. Air suspension too so hopefully that compensates for not having 20s
I'm driving a 2019 model for 20 months now and it's pure joy to drive indeed, give me a smile each time I get behind the wheel ! And very practical for the family, dog friendly too, no problem so far, range is consistently 380 km so for us it's more than enough. Just sad that Jaguar did such a bad work by not managing to sell it and not making the hype about this car.
@@AndyMpne Yes, really nice space in the boot (I have 3 dogs, 2 small ones and an Australian shepherd), nice with the accessory protection. I'm driving in Eco mode when with the dogs so they have the smoothest experience.
I had a 2019 I-PACE, and I loved driving that car. Unfortunately like most JLR products, it was let down by it's reliability. I had JLR repurchase the car because of HVAC failures. I am now driving a Volvo C40. It doesn't compare in driving dynamics to the I-PACE but so far reliability is better. In addition, Android Automotive OS is better and faster than Pivi Pro with Alexa. The C40 also charges faster at 150kW consistently where the I-PACE struggles to achieve 100kW charging.

YES ( My wife's ID4 charges in half the time ) . With all that said I would not change this vehicle for anything. This Jag drives like a Jag. And there is just something special about the way a Jag drives ( The XE is not included with this sentiment). It is too bad JLR did not advertise this vehicle in the States at all. It really could have been a contender.
I pick my i-Pace Black up in 10 days time, can't wait. I had test drives in all the other similar EV's. Is the Jaguar quicker than a Tesla, does it charge faster, and go further on a charge - all no. But the Tesla achieves all that because of light weight inferior quality. I got in a 3 month old Tesla recently and all I could hear were the rattles and moving plastic and the owner laughed saying that in 3 years time he would probably just be sat on the battery with everything else having fallen off. I know Tesla zealots will denie all this but to me the whole iPad dash thing looks dated and when I see them on the motorway I'm reminded of Mondeo man!! Hey ho each to his own. I'm trading in my F-Pace so no drop in quality.

There is no reason on this planet why an EV has to look like an ICE vehicle. It doesn’t have a great fossil fuelled block and gearbox to accommodate. Only those who would like electric locomotives to look like steam ones are impressed by such pointlessness!
