This was really interesting to watch but one thing to know is that you should always dilute apple cider vinegar! It’s very acidic so when it goes down your esophagus it can irritate it over time. Just combine a shot with water and it’ll be much more bearable to drink.
A waitress shouldn't have to ask you why can't your chicken have salt. They should just take your order. Also I dont recommend taking apple cider vinegar alone you should add it in water, its to much for you stomach.

If you are going to eat at a restaurant they aren't going to give two fucks unless it is allergy related, that's why they would ask. Food cooked without salt has less flavour. Also, the vinegar on its own isn't bad for your stomach so much as it can be damaging to the esophagus, that's why it should be diluted with something else.

A lack of salt does not make you look "dry", just less bloated. Going from a high salt diet to a minimal salt diet can allow a person to lose 3-5 pounds in a week.

I don't think the point of this diet is to lose weight? None of the models are trying to lose weight before the show they're trying to cut down their water bloat. You don't lose pounds of fat in a week/2 weeks. You're losing water weight. That's why its completely pointless in the first place to weigh yourself at the beginning/end of the week. You aren't gaining or losing any FAT, your weight fluctuates every day/several times per day. I just think sometimes your diet videos are misleading. This isn't the VS models every day diet, this is what there doing to prep in the days leading up to the show, again, to get rid of bloating and extra water. Please be more clear with the intentions of diets like these so that young girls aren't mislead to think that this is what the models eat every day.

It's way easier to drink apple cider vinegar if it is diluted. And actually, it's better to have it diluted anyways because that high concentration of vinegar all in one gulp isn't too good for you.
What stinks I'm on a similar diet for medical reasons, lost 60 pounds, but I got to lose another 45 pounds. Not happy!! No salt. No Beer. No red meat. NO JUNK FOOD, TAKEOUT, AND FAST FOOD.

Guys there should be a disclaimer for this video: For the record, Adriana Lima only does the liquid diet of protein shakes because she was pregnant in that year and had just given birth previously before she was meant to go on the runway in about two months. She doesn't do this all the time nor did she do this for the other 17 years that she walked for VS. Secondly, these models only eat like this for anywhere from a month to two weeks before the show, same way that athletes also up their workouts and become more strict on their diets and cut anything unnecessary out. The other times of the year, they eat normally. They don't cut any food groups out. It's just for the show to reduce water retention and look their best.

My mom is on a diet due to health issues, she doesn't eat dairy products or meat (beef and chicken but she can have fish and turkey once a week) and she also doesn't eat fried food, products with wheat-flour or processed sugars and to be honest she is never hungry and she eats a lot of little healthy snack during the day to help speed her metabolism and loose weight. I guess what I wanted to say is that I think starving yourself for a runway is unnecessary if models would keep a better control on what they eat all the time. A healthy and delicious diet is way better than apple vinegar and cinammon as despertae mesures on the weeks before the runway.
The fact that society's definition of looking "good" is a body type that you have to be hungry and unhappy to achieve is so fucked up. There's nothing wrong with being skinny and or healthy, but these extremes are the reason so many people, including myself, have almost lost their lives to eating disorders and it needs to stop.

Danijela Grebenar it is if you do it for prolonged periods of time. Michelle and Candace felt tired after just days of the diet. That’s because our body needs nutrients to function, and they aren’t getting enough. Especially the last day “before the show” is just short of starvation. Imagine what that will do to your body in the long term. Spoiler alert: you’ll end up in the hospital.
It should be noted, these are not, nor are they designed to be, long term diets. These are specifically designed to drop water weight before a show to avoid bloating, hence the low sodium and high water consumption combined with dandelion root (a natural diuretic), which will cause the body to flush excess water right before the show. (I realize high water consumption combined with a diuretic sounds counter-intuitive. The reason you want to increase water consumption at first is to tell your body not to store it, that way when you cut it out towards the end of the diet, your body doesn't hold onto it.)
I know this is put together by a nutritionist but this diet seems slightly unhealthy lol like sort of depriving the body of things it needs just to look "perfect" doesn't really seem worth it
Ladies, this diet wasn't filling for you because it was prepared based on the models BMI. Their calorie requirement is ofcourse going to be different as they're so skinny and have a small tummy. Whereas us on the other hand with normal bodies will ofcourse need slightly more than that amount of food.

The ACV, cinnamon, and a bunch of other stuff help with the bloating, as well, not just the salt. I usually do bitters, instead of ACV, before meals, but either will work. If you are like me, then raw foods may be harder on your body and adding cinnamon can help you digest major fruits (and smoothies). I did a detox with similar ideas over the summer, but I still ate as much as I wanted. It helped me feel way better (i.e. I didn't even need painkillers after a major surgery), which was more the emphasis than my appearance. I hope you lovely ladies find things that make you feel well, too!

I feel like its important to keep in mind that models have way less body mass so they eat less for sure, which is probably why you guys are still hungry, because you have more body mass :) ps I LOVE DANDELION TEA it makes me feel so good haha
Apple cider vinegar with the Mother culture is what you want. Bragg's makes a great one. Also, you will want to dilute the vinegar if you are going to be doing it often. The shot can mess up your throat and tooth enamel. Just have a shot of it in a small glass of water with a slice of orange left overnight. It covers the flavor immensely. Brush your teeth at least 20 minutes after you drink the ACV if you can't handle the taste. You got this! The ACV drinks give an energy boost and help suppress appetite.

Emppos you don't need to worry about "eating clean" eat what you want to eat. Your body knows what it needs to function properly so just listen to what your body wants, weather that be chocolate or avocado and you will be fine. Balance is so so important
I’m 14 too and I feel ya. I’ve been trying a lot of different diets and most of them suck. But I’ve learned a lot o about my body and I’m getting to know what works for me. I would say go for it and try what you want as long as ur healthy
Ah...ACV shots...Memories lol! It may *look* like apple juice, but it's NOT! My heart goes out to you, both, for doing this ❤ I don't think you'll do this again, but here is a tip: Drink the ACV shot *fast*, and follow it with a full glass of water to take the edge off. The cinnamon is supposed to lower blood sugar levels, which is why many dieters recommend sprinkling fruit (and other sweets) with cinnamon. I personally like the taste of cinnamon, so I sprinkle it on everything, regardless of its health benefits. Also, never be embarrassed for having a 'special order'. It is your right to make your health your priority. Those who have food allergies, may have to make special requests for their order as well (although, salt may not be one of them).
I'm glad y'all are showing people how uncomfortable and unreasonable diet fads are. I personally don't think VS should be posting these diets because they 1) are not for long term use and 2) are not for everyone. This pretty much sounds to me like a starvation/"debloating" diet that is done the week before the show and people should not try (outside of RUclips).
I would love to see a video of you trying the Wim Hof Method, and meeting Wim himself and having him teach you his method and take you through his cold practice.
this diet makes more sense for weight loss than the last: -apple cider vinegar is supposed to help with weight loss and if a shot of it is hard, try it mixed with water and lemon with some cinnamon -cinnamon helps speed up the metabolism -dandelion root tea is supposed to promote liver and kidney health, in other words 'detox'

Oh man. No salt. I know that lower sodium food is important for a lot of people, but no salt whatsoever seems dangerous to me. To be fair, I have low blood pressure and get migraines, so I have to dump salt on my food to make sure I'm feeling ok XD
Best way to take the apple cider vinegar.... use the shot glass to measure it (if you drink it straight you can possibly burn your esophagus) take a 32 (or 64 if you're like me and can't handle much of the vinegar flavor) fill it half way with ice. add a squirt of lemon and as much honey as you want to sweeten it. Then dump in your vinegar fill the rest of the way with water and stir until everything is combined. trust me its better than the shot. Plus get everything organic then you not only get the benefits of the vinegar but the lemon and honey as well.
You need to take the apple cider vinegar with the mother (raw) not the vinegar with sulphites from the grocery store. Also you should take it straight like that, hard on your esophagus and teeth. Take with water through a straw. It has a lot of health benefits!
Hey Michelle! I have watched your videos since you left buzzfeed and enjoy most of your content. I feel like you excel in the workout videos. I just wanted to share a bit of constructive criticism. (1. I am in no way trying to bash your videos, and I think you are a great content creator. I have just noticed some trends that I wanted to touch on. 2. Obviously I am just some random view who you are under no obligation to even read what I'm writing, let alone take the criticism. I just wanted to put my thoughts out there, so that maybe you have the opportunity to read them and reflect on them.) I have noticed in some of your videos, in particular the dieting videos, you and your guests tend to approach the diet pretty negatively and with closed minds. Now, obviously most people would not be excited to eat super clean for an extended period of time, but y'all were the ones that signed up to do the video. I am not saying you have put a face on and act like you are excited when you're not, but there is a reason you decided to try the diet in the first place and maybe shed some light on the excitement in relation to that. I just find myself as a viewer fast forwarding through the parts of the video where you just complain and drag your feet about the diet. (Now obviously keep your reactions to things authentic, like you did with the ACV. But when you just kind of shut down and freaked out about the tea, maybe research and share with us some reasons why it's included in the diet and what benefits it has?) I could go on with more specific examples, but I'm sure you get the basic idea. I just feel that everyone knows diets suck, so we don't really need to see a bunch of videos of diets that suck and how much not fun you had doing them. I also feel like these videos overwhelmingly remind me of buzzfeed, because this is what buzzfeed is notorious for with different "experiments." They tend to throw people into their videos who don't really want to participate and who drag their feet and complain about the experiment the entire time and at the end concludes with "yeah, that totally sucked and I'm not doing it again." As a content creator, maybe ask yourself what value does that give my viewers? If you could shed some more light on what you learned/ what you're going to take away from the diet? Etc? And a final note. I know you and Saf are not the same person, but y'all left BF around the same time and she has had a much higher success rate. Why? It is certainly not because wearing plastic pants is more relatable than doing a diet! It's because she approaches a weird situation/experiment with a positive and informative attitude. If her videos of her wearing the ugliest pair of shoes for a week just consisted of her complaining when she fist saw the shoes, then dismissing all the weird characteristics of the shoes, then complaining and dragging her feet and hiding each time she wore the shoes, and at the end concluded with what we all knew in the fist place that the shoes were super ugly. No one would watch those videos! (I am not telling you to be or do what Saf is doing. I was just trying to use an example you could relate to and who has been on YT around the same length as you.) I hope you get a chance to read this! I'm excited to continue watching you grow and look forward to more videos!

The other times of the year, they eat normally. They don't cut any food groups out. It's just for the show to reduce water retention and look their best.

If you dilute the apple cider vinegar with water it will taste a lot better! When you actually do it every morning, it's pretty nice!
I usually take a shot of Apple cider vinegar in the morning, but I usually mix it with a little water so it won't be as strong. 😂

My mom is on a diet due to health issues, she doesn't eat dairy products or meat (beef and chicken but she can have fish and turkey once a week) and she also doesn't eat fried food, products with wheat-flour or processed sugars and to be honest she is never hungry and she eats a lot of little healthy snack during the day to help speed her metabolism and loose weight. I guess what I wanted to say is that I think starving yourself for a runway is unnecessary if models would keep a better control on what they eat all the time. A healthy and delicious diet is way better than apple vinegar and cinammon as despertae mesures on the weeks before the runway.
The fact that society's definition of looking "good" is a body type that you have to be hungry and unhappy to achieve is so fucked up. There's nothing wrong with being skinny and or healthy, but these extremes are the reason so many people, including myself, have almost lost their lives to eating disorders and it needs to stop.

That’s because our body needs nutrients to function, and they aren’t getting enough. Especially the last day “before the show” is just short of starvation. Imagine what that will do to your body in the long term. Spoiler alert: you’ll end up in the hospital.

It should be noted, these are not, nor are they designed to be, long term diets. These are specifically designed to drop water weight before a show to avoid bloating, hence the low sodium and high water consumption combined with dandelion root (a natural diuretic), which will cause the body to flush excess water right before the show. (I realize high water consumption combined with a diuretic sounds counter-intuitive. The reason you want to increase water consumption at first is to tell your body not to store it, that way when you cut it out towards the end of the diet, your body doesn't hold onto it.)
I use photosynthesis for energy because I am a vegan.

Ladies, this diet wasn't filling for you because it was prepared based on the models BMI. Their calorie requirement is ofcourse going to be different as they're so skinny and have a small tummy. Whereas us on the other hand with normal bodies will ofcourse need slightly more than that amount of food.

The ACV, cinnamon, and a bunch of other stuff help with the bloating, as well, not just the salt. I usually do bitters, instead of ACV, before meals, but either will work. If you are like me, then raw foods may be harder on your body and adding cinnamon can help you digest major fruits (and smoothies).
I did a detox with similar ideas over the summer, but I still ate as much as I wanted. It helped me feel way better (i.e. I didn't even need painkillers after a major surgery), which was more the emphasis than my appearance. I hope you lovely ladies find things that make you feel well, too!

Apple cider vinegar with the Mother culture is what you want. Bragg's makes a great one. Also, you will want to dilute the vinegar if you are going to be doing it often. The shot can mess up your throat and tooth enamel. Just have a shot of it in a small glass of water with a slice of orange left overnight. It covers the flavor immensely. Brush your teeth at least 20 minutes after you drink the ACV if you can't handle the taste. You got this! The ACV drinks give an energy boost and help suppress appetite.

Emppos you don't need to worry about "eating clean" eat what you want to eat. Your body knows what it needs to function properly so just listen to what your body wants, weather that be chocolate or avocado and you will be fine. Balance is so so important

Ah...ACV shots...Memories lol! It may *look* like apple juice, but it's NOT! My heart goes out to you, both, for doing this ❤ I don't think you'll do this again, but here is a tip: Drink the ACV shot *fast*, and follow it with a full glass of water to take the edge off. The cinnamon is supposed to lower blood sugar levels, which is why many dieters recommend sprinkling fruit (and other sweets) with cinnamon. I personally like the taste of cinnamon, so I sprinkle it on everything, regardless of its health benefits.
Also, never be embarrassed for having a 'special order'. It is your right to make your health your priority. Those who have food allergies, may have to make special requests for their order as well (although, salt may not be one of them).

I personally don't think VS should be posting these diets because they 1) are not for long term use and 2) are not for everyone. This pretty much sounds to me like a starvation/"debloating" diet that is done the week before the show and people should not try (outside of RUclips).

-apple cider vinegar is supposed to help with weight loss and if a shot of it is hard, try it mixed with water and lemon with some cinnamon
-cinnamon helps speed up the metabolism
-dandelion root tea is supposed to promote liver and kidney health, in other words 'detox'

Oh man. No salt. I know that lower sodium food is important for a lot of people, but no salt whatsoever seems dangerous to me. To be fair, I have low blood pressure and get migraines, so I have to dump salt on my food to make sure I'm feeling ok XD

Best way to take the apple cider vinegar.... use the shot glass to measure it (if you drink it straight you can possibly burn your esophagus) take a 32 (or 64 if you're like me and can't handle much of the vinegar flavor) fill it half way with ice. add a squirt of lemon and as much honey as you want to sweeten it. Then dump in your vinegar fill the rest of the way with water and stir until everything is combined. trust me its better than the shot. Plus get everything organic then you not only get the benefits of the vinegar but the lemon and honey as well.

You need to take the apple cider vinegar with the mother (raw) not the vinegar with sulphites from the grocery store. Also you should take it straight like that, hard on your esophagus and teeth. Take with water through a straw. It has a lot of health benefits!

Hey Michelle! I have watched your videos since you left buzzfeed and enjoy most of your content. I feel like you excel in the workout videos. I just wanted to share a bit of constructive criticism. (1. I am in no way trying to bash your videos, and I think you are a great content creator. I have just noticed some trends that I wanted to touch on. 2. Obviously I am just some random view who you are under no obligation to even read what I'm writing, let alone take the criticism. I just wanted to put my thoughts out there, so that maybe you have the opportunity to read them and reflect on them.)
I have noticed in some of your videos, in particular the dieting videos, you and your guests tend to approach the diet pretty negatively and with closed minds. Now, obviously most people would not be excited to eat super clean for an extended period of time, but y'all were the ones that signed up to do the video. I am not saying you have put a face on and act like you are excited when you're not, but there is a reason you decided to try the diet in the first place and maybe shed some light on the excitement in relation to that. I just find myself as a viewer fast forwarding through the parts of the video where you just complain and drag your feet about the diet. (Now obviously keep your reactions to things authentic, like you did with the ACV. But when you just kind of shut down and freaked out about the tea, maybe research and share with us some reasons why it's included in the diet and what benefits it has?) I could go on with more specific examples, but I'm sure you get the basic idea. I just feel that everyone knows diets suck, so we don't really need to see a bunch of videos of diets that suck and how much not fun you had doing them. I also feel like these videos overwhelmingly remind me of buzzfeed, because this is what buzzfeed is notorious for with different "experiments." They tend to throw people into their videos who don't really want to participate and who drag their feet and complain about the experiment the entire time and at the end concludes with "yeah, that totally sucked and I'm not doing it again." As a content creator, maybe ask yourself what value does that give my viewers? If you could shed some more light on what you learned/ what you're going to take away from the diet? Etc?
And a final note. I know you and Saf are not the same person, but y'all left BF around the same time and she has had a much higher success rate. Why? It is certainly not because wearing plastic pants is more relatable than doing a diet! It's because she approaches a weird situation/experiment with a positive and informative attitude. If her videos of her wearing the ugliest pair of shoes for a week just consisted of her complaining when she fist saw the shoes, then dismissing all the weird characteristics of the shoes, then complaining and dragging her feet and hiding each time she wore the shoes, and at the end concluded with what we all knew in the fist place that the shoes were super ugly. No one would watch those videos! (I am not telling you to be or do what Saf is doing. I was just trying to use an example you could relate to and who has been on YT around the same length as you.)
