I can’t believe it! I just figured out that I should be using deduction as a search term for board games and this is the first video that popped up! 😁 You guys cover it all! Thank you again.
First, I really like this 'themed game night' idea, putting mechanically and thematically themed game nights! I adore Turing Machine and Paint the Roses and big cooperative logic puzzles. Have you played Veiled Fate? It's social deduction, so a bit less logical, but I really enjoy trying to pluck out the other player's motivations based on mostly hidden information.
No, but we’ve heard really good things about it! Social deduction is a big hit and miss with us we adore some while others don’t necessary appeal, but Veiled Fate will go on the wish list!
Thanks for the video! • Turing Machine easily catches my eye the most; hopefully get to play that soon for my solo play challenge. • Break the Cube is new to me and also has me intrigued. Will look into it more. • Another type of deduction game night could be ones with hidden identities or hidden information; games could include One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Bang! (card or dice game), Deception: Murder in Hong Kong, Hanabi and the like. Though some may involve fuzzy logic and bluffing. • And of course, there are the word deduction games (featuring some logic) for the evolving wordsmiths: Codenames, Letter Jam, Decrypto, Trapwords, Just One, So Clover, etc.. Codenames Duet in particular includes a campaign mode that I've been yearning to try. Of course, wherever we are in the pandemic-post-pandemic timeline had me put it in hindsight. And other than DnD RPGs, I have not been involved in a game night campaign. Will that change sooner than later remains up in the air.
Ooo Letter Jam is one we love dearly! There are so many wonderful games out there! We still have not played one night ultimate werewolf or were words, excited to check both those out!
Paladins has made its way up into our groups top 10 games we enjoy playing. This will be a helpful video, we enjoy a good Deduction game and maybe make it into a night of fun. We own Paint the Roses, we will have to look more into Gardeners. Second night seems like a fun time, we own none of these. Mind MGMT seems like it would be a fun game with a group of gamers.
Ah so happy to hear that Paladins is climbing the ranks! That is amazing! What are your thoughts on Paint the Roses? Mind MGMT is definitely a delightful experience, keeps everyone on their toes.
@@kovray We enjoy it, Its always fun when most take the hard cards and then our heads are chopped off after like 4 turns :P I like that everyone still has things to do on everyone's turn. Trying to find ways to work around the garden when a tile is not in the greenhouse that you need to help with your card.
Love the video! I am searching for gift ideas for Christmas, and this was incredibly helpful. I wish I could buy all of these lol. I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas and remember that Jesus loves each and every one of you and wants a relationship with you all

Random Q - does MindMGMT fit in a kallax?
👀👀👀 Heightwise it does not, but you could put it on its side and it does fit lengthwise.
