My favorite Santa Is Krampus, my 6th grade teacher was a monster I was always afraid to face!
I have one of those two, funny how they stay with us at times.
Tyler looks like the most generic gay guy ever.
He’s my (Ilya) favorite :)
Awesome!
Thanks! We're glad you think so.
Krampus
Good luck!
Krampus with a K… not a C
@@TheJamesMReid hehe!
Krampus looks fantastic!
@@ToyoAnn1 he’s a blast!
A lot of great games, games I have and still need to play, and games I may have to get soon. I love how Cascadia is right behind you two, especially give Tylor’s justified feelings about the comparison between that and Harmonies. Both, are great. Neither replaces the other.
Exactly! Enough shelf space for all the great games out there :) Well maybe
I enjoyed this so much , your enthusiasm is highly contagious! So happy you liked Spectacular, it was wonderful to meet you both 🥰 now I need to try Bomb Busters!
@@sunnivavarjord We both can’t wait until we get to spend more time with you! Meeting you and Johannes was a highlight for us this year.
Cheesy joke incoming. Why did Santa Claus get to go into the pool but not Krampus? Because he had a... cramp.
@@HareHaven hehehhe! Love it!
After playing enough Mansions of Madness, I think Cthluhu would just be too overwhelming for my mind. Might just cause my brain to KRAMPus.
Cthulhu would be quite frightening to encounter that’s for sure.
Congratulations on your marriage, and thank you for sharing the footage of your beautiful honeymoon! Hope you have an equally amazing and mystical Christmas and New Year! I, for one, will be travelling to Neptune soon 🤣
Thank you for your kind words! Appreciate you watching :)
I'm a Krampus, but they call me PopPop
Well thank you for watching Pop Pop!
Krampus. To answer the question of the day- I would be absolutely terrified to face any of the basic slasher killers. For instance, Freddy, Ghost Face, Jason and Micheal. It doesn't matter how far you run, they are always behind you. I would die from paranoia, lol.
The over your should scare is just too much! I agree.
Krampus
Good luck!
I haven't played the new ones but I wonder how hard it would be to make Krampus work for the original boxes. Might just have to get them all lol I think I would be too horrified to face most of them, but to Ilya's point I think I would get along with bigfoot. Just hang out in the woods and not be seen by anyone else for a while.
Have a little hut in the middle of nowhere! That’d be so nice. I believe Krampus is only compatible with World of Monsters and Greek Monsters.
Love cheese and this one looks lovely with a neat timing mech similat to Talchian(sp?)
Curious what game you’re referring to as I really enjoy this mechanic :)
At the top of my list to buy is Fisghing. My FLGS has 2 ordered for me.
I heard it’s available in Target in the US! Rip Canada.
Been wanting to get Horrified for some time, fantastic review/learn to play. You both are always making such engaging (and funny) content!!! KRAMPUS! And the newest one is the one I would get because I would want to face Cthulhu because there would be no horror, the world would just cease to be.
You’re so kind! Thank you :)
My first date with my wife was to see the movie Krampus on opening day. It would be exciting to defeat this monster together!
He’s quite a character that’s for sure, revisiting him must be quite nostalgic considering your movie experience.
Daisy only subscribed for less than an hour and you guys are so sweet and adorable so I committed myself to going through all your videos
Oooo that’s a lot of videos! Grateful to you!
I admire when board gamers can keep their tastes broad, and I am extremely impressed at you two and how your tastes span from super light to ultra heavy! I find the older I get, the fussier I get (and the heavier I want my games to be!). I only played 13 games that were released in 2024, but many of them are new favourites! 😀 Here they are, organised from least to most favourite: • DABBA WALLA: Cute theme, but too light and random for my taste. • COURTISANS: This sort of party-adjacent game isn’t really my cup of tea. And the spelling of the title bothered me. • HARMONIES: A perfectly good filler. Verdant already replaced Cascadia for me (even though I live in Cascadia), but Harmonies could do that too. Feels more strategic and less repetitive. I’d like to try it with the revised rules. • SHIPWRIGHTS OF THE NORTH SEA: REDUX. This game was fun, but it felt short, and the card draw luck didn’t seem to work out for me. Good, but not a favourite. • RISE AND FALL. The idea of building your own map in turn order before the game starts is super neat, and I haven’t seen another game do that so well. The resource conversions were a bit dry, and the points were pretty swingy, but otherwise it was a good experience. • BLACK FOREST: Really original, and I enjoyed it a lot! We did have one game that felt rushed and everyone except the player who rushed it were surprised at their engines being cut short, so I’ll have to go into further games with the awareness that it can be rushed. • THROUGH ICE AND SNOW: Great theme, and lots of fun. We played it at two, though, and it felt like you could do everything you wanted fairly easily, so I think 3-4 players would make the decisions more interesting, so I’d like to try that. • FORGES OF RAVENSHIRE: Neat combo of dice placement with the Raiders of the North Sea one-worker-down-one-worker-up mechanic. Not sure it’s balanced, nor that making your own charcoal ever makes sense, but it’s fun and combo-y. Love how your tiles activate based on what colour dice you pick up! • PAMPERO: This game is so delicious because you never know whether the cost of your action is worth spending the points! I think the turn order mechanism is a bit clunky, but otherwise this game is an absolute gem. Agree that it sometimes feels lighter than it is. • EZRA AND NEHEMIAH: Really enjoyed this one. It felt like Garphill’s greatest hits! I didn’t understand the wall properly on my first play, so I’ll have to try it again and do it properly next time! • UNCONSCIOUS MIND. Gorgeous art, unique and well-executed theme, interesting gameplay … what’s not to love? Next time I need to invest in treatises and district scoring more. • INVENTORS OF THE SOUTH TIGRIS: Man, this trilogy has been knocking it out of the park! Wayfarers was my most played game last year, Scholars was number 1 on my Top 50 this summer, and then this banger! It’s far more of a point salad than I expected but I like it a lot! You can go so many directions and never know how it will turn out! • INVENTIONS: EVOLUTION OF IDEAS. I absolutely love this game. Not sure what else to say. It turns my brain into toast and I am loving every minute. In October I only had 20 plays, 6 of which were this game. I taught it to a couple who (I don’t know this at the time) usually only played Carcassonne, but they liked it too!
Thank you for such a thorough breakdown! I feel like we definitely love all sorts of games, there’s always a time and place. I really want to try Black Forest and Forges of Ravenshire, they both seem wonderful! You’ve played many of the games on our list and ones we love lots! Hope you have an amazing 2025!
@@kovrayThank you! Happy New Year to you too! 😀
Oh no! Is Krampus going to cramp us?
I sure hope not
Oh my goodness Horrified is finally getting Krampus! It looks sooooo goood!
He’s so fun to play with!
Fun list. I love A Gentle Rain. Panda Panda sounds neat.
A Gentle Rain is soooo good! 🥰🥰🥰
Krampus. It had to be said.
It just must be said!
I love horrified and Krampus but Will stick with OG and American Cryptids, so I am disappointed that Krampus was not built to work with those but I will not buy the others. Thanks for covering and doing the giveaway for others out there.
It would be neat if they were all cross compatible.
What a mystical time of year Christmas is, I wonder if a pirate would celebrate Christmas? Would they give each member of their crew a daisy? Maybe on Neptune!
Thanks for watching! Good luck :)
We love Horrified and Eric loves Krampus this would be so awesome to try out! Hoping we can make a video on Horrified soon, we'll get board game content going one day haha
It’s so much fun! Thanks for watching :)
It's wild how prevalent Krampus has become in pop culture the past few years lol, can't wait to play more Horrified soon
Time for Belsnickel to become more popular
Krampus!? Where?
Where you least expect him
I just watched the movie KRAMPUS and about to move on to the next installment of the franchise. After watching the movie, I think facing Krampus face-to-face would be terrifying.
Horrifying you might say hehe
@@kovray Ah yes. Why didn't I say that? That would have been more appropriate for sure! LOL
This would complete my Horrified collection. Krampus!
Oooo good luck!
Have you seen Red One? Krampus was pretty cool in that movie. I think Chthulu would be most horrifying.
We haven’t! Will take a look!
You guys are so cool! Thanks for this excellent video.

Great video! Good overview of the World of Monsters. Nice that there's now a seasonal monster...KRAMPUS!😁😮
@@teaNgames thank you so much! 🥰
Fantastic art, and I love cats, and card games. Following the KS page now.
@@jamesbrazeal3847 Really unique game! Glad we could help you discover it :)
Krampus - I have a Krampus at 3 in the the morning ..no wait that's is just a Kramp. I have what you would call the original version of Horrified and Horrified American Monsters version. Love these games ...it is a great, easy co op game to bring to our table and play it regularly. I think the monster I wouldn't like to face is the Yeti. Reminded me of a Wampa from Star Wars ..which terrified me as a Kid lol
@@thinkgeektheory1085 I feel like the Yeti is just misunderstood. Thanks for watching!
Krampus. Question of the day- only monsters that really scare me are zombies and possessed dolls. Didn’t help that fear that as a child everyone gave me china dolls.
In all fairness china dolls are definitely quite spooky!
Love you guys!!! Krampus
@@billkempisty2689 Thanks Bill!
I think Krampus terrifies Christmas more than any other monster ever 🥶
@@drake8710 he sure does…
Krampus! All of the Horrified games are great.

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, except for KRAMPUS!
@@gregorycook3550 HES HERE!!!
Harmonies and RVGW are definitely in our top games this year. We also really liked Kavango and Creature Caravan.
@@JeremyJohnsonmcmxcAD Kavango looks really neat, we haven’t had the chance to play yet though. Creature Caravan is a BLAST!
Question of the Day: What monster would you be too horrified to face?
Krampus of course! Have you seen the krampus parades in Austria? Terrifying....er, well Horrifying!😂
@ NO! I am researching this immediately, that sounds amazing!
How is there a question on this? Trick taking month should start in April….
Hmm? Why April? I may be missing the obvious.
@@kovray April Fools? "Trick" taking? Only other acceptable month would be October with "Trick" or Treat at Halloween. . . .
@ AH! That is such a good point!
I’ve always wanted to be a PIRATE!

@@sophside9931 so glad you’re here! Thank you for subscribing and watching! Check out our discord for more community fun :)
Love it. Great lists!!
Thank you so so much!
Idk what you mean by you only wanting to play arcs at 2 or 3/4. You can only play arcs in a 2,3, or4 player game
In a two player game there really isn’t “king making” because there’s only one target other than yourself who could win. In a 3-4 player game the social game comes into play, which sometimes is great and other times can mean ganging up on someone or playing a social game to win rather than a mechanics driven one. As we haven’t played in 3-4 we haven’t experienced what that looks like but the statement in either or just means there will likely be a hard preference for one or the other. I hope that makes sense.
I understand, it's definitely a blast at 4. I'll have to try it at 2!
Congratulations!!! Ive seen videos of yours here and there while growing my vollection(its getting lut of hand). Hope for many more for you guys. Lets go to Neptune!
A little out of hand seems to be the theme for us board games haha! Thank you for the kind words.
