    Had an S197, and now have an S550. I agree, the S197 was the last “mustsng” body style. But I love my S550

    I love the looks of the 13-14. They are the perfect mustang in my opinion! The looks, the modernization, the retro que’s and the taillights are the best taillights to ever be put on a mustang.
    The 10 speeds are a game changer though, but still I would take the 13-14 if given the option.

    I have a s550 but I never knew a s197 could look so aggressive… man Derrick did his thing!!! I honestly think the s197 is just raw power

    I like what Derrick said about his car, I feel like he really likes the older mustangs!! He’s old school in a young man!!! The cars looked sick sitting together like that!! The videos with you and Derrick are really fun to watch, good team together. The tour will be AWESOME, the front of your car looks sick!! Gen 3 all day!!! They are BAD straight off the lot!!!

    I love all the Mustang generations (besides the mustang II lol) but the s197 I think is the best and last true mustang generation... I really do love the s550s they just dont have that raw feeling to them.

    Gen 1 is a no go and really can’t be found If youre just talking about crate engines. The best overall coyote is the gen 2. The one that can produce power the easiest though is the 3. As for cars the gen 1 drives like a truck. The gen 2 is refined and the 3 is perfected. The 10R80 Vs the 6R80 though just isn’t as stout nor is the gen 2 motor Vs the 3. Period! The 3 is much weaker than the 2 in regards to the motor. The 10R80 has a lot of wonky issues unlike the 6R80. Either way all 3 are great.

    I had a Gen 3 6 speed FBO, kept it for 2 years, then I bought my Gen 3 10 speed automatic, its now procharged lol man this car is sick. Only complaint is that it spins out, I need to put a drag pack on it. Other than that, I love the Gen 3 its sexy ASF

    I have a 2014 gt convertible. It has been the most reliable car I have ever owned. I have over 185,000 miles, and it shows no signs of stopping. Not one check engine light since I bought it with 93,000 miles.

    Ive had a 2013, 2020 and now a 2021 GT PP1 with the 401A and Magnaride like you do, except I have carbonized grey and MT82! I totally understand where Derek is coming from on the feel of the S197 and the looks. It felt a little sketchier when getting rowdy. But the Gen 3s are just so nice on the inside, especially with 401A. I love the look of the PP1's, you can go E85 with just a tune, the auto rev match sounds so sick when downshifting, the magnaride feels so smooth, active exhaust comes in handy for my Karen ass neighbors, and its almost easy to make big power with those engines. I loved my S197 and would say its the second best, behind the Gen 3, given that the Gen 3 is a premium PP1 or PP2. S197 over a base model Gen 3 for sure!

    Can you link a video telling all you have done to your gen 3 engine wise? I'm looking at possibly staying N/A when I get mines and I'm looking at 2018+ Premium PP1 A10. Haven't set on a color yet, though.

    I love your channel and content bro! Great Job! I just upgraded my 2020 Mustang Ecoboost to a brand spankin new 2021 Mustang GT Premium Automatic with the 401A package, I love the digital gauge cluster. I chose Shadow black with the black accent package and I'm in LOVE!!! I reserved the car while it was being built so no one else even got to test drive it! Keep the Mustang content rollin I can't get enough.

    I personally have a s197 that I vmp boosted last winter because of Derek’s vids of his setup. But my brother in law has a 18 10speed and wow!!! It’s amazing as well. But I have to agree the s197 is like an old muscle car. But if I was gonna daily one, it would be a gen 3 for the 10 speed and interior

    I had a couple S197’s and to be honest after having a S550 the S197 felt cheap. The S550 is superior in every way,especially the interior.

      You must have had a shitty few gen 1s cause I have a 2012 premium and it has a fantastic interior and I obviously upgraded it to make look even better

      I had a 11 GT/CS, 14 3.7 and a 14 GT Premium. My 16 GT premium was way,way nicer than all of. It felt and looked way more refined. The S197 feels cheap to me after being in a S550. Just my opinion, you do you man.

    A lot of people complain that the gen1 coyote is a horrible drive, have they ever drove a sn95 or new edge. Coming from a 03 new edge into a gen 1 coyote it feels like a night and day difference and its sooo much more comfortable. So of course the newer the car the more comfortable it's supposed to be. So much hate for the gen1 it's not even funny people act like a older mustang is supposed to have better interior than newer one.

    Gen 3 FTW!! Only thing I haven't done is an intake w mine and made about 490 and I can beat on this thing daily n she keeps on ticking. Now I'm looking into boost to see where that goes....

    GEN 2 engine / 6R80 is the most stout combo if you want to go boost.
    No denying the advantage of having 10 speeds though.
    I have raced my VMP boosted
    GEN2 / MT82 car a lot. Stock suspension. Car has held up great. Derrick needs to run your Gen 3. It will be fine. Just throw some Boostane in the tank for added protection before the run.
    I’m really interested to see this race because I know the 10 speed cars punch above their dyno numbers.

    Spinning isn’t winning when it comes to planting power. That is where the Gen 3 and Gen 2 shine over the Gen 1. I tried to buy a 19 Gt 6 speed and couldn’t find one around October 2018 but was able to drive the 10r80 model 2019 Velocity Blue black out package and was in my driveway that night. No regrets what so ever!

    I’ve had a ‘66, an ‘09 and now a ‘20, the ‘66 was a 6cyl, 3spd but my ‘20 is so beautiful she wins everything! Gen 3 for me!

    Had an S197 3 valve, and a 14 coyote and now the S550 predator. The 14 with 3 pedals was fun on the edge all the time and my favorite out of the 3 generations I had prior to the 2 S197’s. But now it’s hard to compare both on a roll and around corners on a track somewhere with the GT500. Interior is whatever floats your boat I say. But the S550’s have grown on me over the years. I thought my 05 was the closest to my 68, but I love them all now. All 3 cars are awesome!

    The Boosted S197 would smash that 10 speed on the highway. 40 or 60 roll. The10 speed advantage is from dig!!

    I have a manual and If I was going to go for a 10 speed it would be 2024 10 speed.. They have improved the shift points and the quickness of the shifts.. But honestly to me there's nothing like Rowing your own gears.. I don't care if the 10 speeds are faster the manuals are 10 x's more fun..

    2019 Oxford White PP1 car, 401A premium A10 here. 11.6 1/4 mile bone stock with a set of drag radials. Gen 3 A10 cars are pretty fast. I had a 2013 ZL1 Camaro before and it was faster, but it had headers exhaust, intake, and tuned by Spartan LSX Performance. I'm definitely happy 😊.

      @@ItalianStallion410 ,everything don't have issues, my Toyota Avalon doesn't have any,Ford on the other hand does,even in the foxbodies the t5 would have bad synchronizers,and now in the s550 they have 2nd gear lockouts,Ford didn't learn anything........

    I saw a video saying gen 3 has a lot of issues after it gets boosted past 900hp. The video said gen 2 is the best option when boosting for large numbers despite the initial advantage of gen 3 since the gen 2 motor is less likely to break down. Is there any truth to this?

    I love all them, but gen 3 is the way to go… have pretty much everything you have on your car!!! And keeping it n/a! Idk it’s something about the way the s550 looks to me that I just love! The body lines and the interior is just light speeds ahead of the s197! And yes the 10 speed is just a better transmission! Team s550!

    Not lyin when my 2020 10R80 hits 3rd gear around 70mph it sidesteps and breaks the tires loose. I went 3rd gen 10r80 because I wanted an all engine handling build since I do canyons more than straight line.

    Gen 3 no doubt. I still love the 13-14 body style tho. Throw a gen 3 in a 14 with the s550 interior and call it a day. Oh boost it too 😉 I want that shirt. Did you just call the mt82 a great transmission??? I'm boosting my 2020 mt82 and I'm worried it's going to blow up in my hand haha

    Gen2 has best motor and 6r80 is king over 10r80 for max power. So gen2 easy.

      10R80 is a cheat code, makes the car wayyyyyy faster than it should be, but if you wanna go fast Alex is right, Gen 2 is king daddy.

      2010 was a 4.6 three Valve, the Gen 1 coyote started in 2011-2014

      @@BrandonMirandavlogs ah yes of course cause it was 2010 when they still used the same drivetrain and power train components from the 05-09s but wanted to introduce the new s197 gen at the time which gave them a starting platform to finally introduced a better power plant which came to be known as the coyote motors

    They did the same thing in early 2000s rounded the mustang bad move, I do like the rear but if had Derek’s front end would be awesome! They went old school for a reason

    I have a 19 GT Orange Fury with just an x pipe and steeda axle back its a 10speed been great to me but if ford rolls out the new shelby with a tremec 6 speed im getting rid of my gt

    I Started out with a 2012 mustang GT and liked that it had a H pipe from the factory so it Sounded good but when I was going past 100mph the car felt unsafe so I bought a 2015 mustang GT which I liked better after I put rear IRS stop the hop braces on it ! and then I got my gen 3 2018 mustang GT which I Love the Best because it's a Ten speed automatic and its Fast!!!!! ;)

    I love my 2020 10spd. I really underestimated how much I'd like the automatic. It's awesome. Perfect daily. Great compliment toy k-swapped mr2 which is goes "Jeffrey Dahmer" insane. Gen 3 coyote all the way.

    I love the S197 5.0 /6R80 FBO its fast stock but body style thats the only reason why i got it the s550 is alot heavier and looks more Euro to me but i can build and boost the motor to make 800+ to the Wheel if i really wanted too but staying stock i can make 500+ which im happy with that

    I have an 18' gen 3 with a manual tremec T56 magnum Trans (ya not the shitty factory mt82 lol) it has FBO's on 91 octane. I want to keep it all natty and try to make 600 crank horsepower or more. My plans are ported heads and manifold, cams, E85 and a Lund racing tune. Trying to be the highest horsepower daily driven all motor gen 3 in San Diego 😎

    Can’t go wrong with any generation. Personally I love the look of the 13-14 the best. However the s550 with a gt500 bumper looks amazing. I do love the technology behind the gen 3 but it came with the most problems. I have a 2020 GT.

      @@ItalianStallion410 yeah I agree. I love my gen 3 s550 gt. I do have the bbq tick and 2k rattle but hasn’t caused any performance issues. I just have mbrp Catback and recaro seats. Will probably remain stock until warranty is up. I’d either go whipple or roush. I have 14k miles so still have time to decide. Nice video bro, all 3 cars are clean af.

    I really want a 2014 5.0 but the prices are through the roof, I found a 2018 6 speed 42,000 miles for $26000 and all the 2014 I look at have 80000+ miles and they want nothing under $22000
