Yes! Videos with different threads/threading/needles. I’m not completely happy with mine. The bobbin is aggravating, threader is difficult. I do use Aurifil 50 wt. but it comes unthreaded a lot because it’s so fine.
Eric was an excellent co-host. Can't wait to see him behind the machine. He knows a lot more than most. I don't need another machine but when I do, this might be it. Something about black. Luckily I couldn't fit the Fabricator in here or I would've went with that one.
There is a walking foot for the HD9. I think it came with the quilting set. I’ve used it and it works well. My only complaint with the HD9- I have a V1 with the half bobbin case- is the foot doesn’t lift very high. I can make it work but I wish it did have more foot clearance. It also *occasionally* gives me problems with skipped stitches over DST. I usually sew with 40wt or heavier. I use regular SCHMETZ needles. Other than that, it’s served me well!
I laughed so hard my husband bought me an embroidery machine he wanted me to embroider his name on his work shirts. He always reminds me he is still waiting for his embroidered shirts; he has been retired now for 16 years. I would love to have you demonstrate the HP Flex foot on your machine. Since it has the top “grabber” do you have to have a leader to start sewing on? Hope that makes sense.
I have a problems on my HD9 with the bobbin thread not wanting to pull up enough to make a nice looking stitch on WPC I have to tighten the top tension almost as tight as I can get it, I’m not sure if mine is model 1 or 2 it’s the one with the funky kind of half of a looking bobbin case. Got any suggestions?
