ooo i have never ever done summer pruning!
Hi That British Homestead.. Summer pruning produces fruits, winter pruning is to shape regards Cliff.
Nice pruning tips!
Thanks for comment, Cliff
Thanks for the easy pruning advice. I just started Gooseberries, White Currant and Fig trees from cuttings. Some i have to put into the garage over winter because of the freezing. And i also grafted some White Currant on a red variety, a yellow plum on our old plum tree and a pink blueberry on a normal blueberry. Do you also do grafts? It would be nice to see a video!
Hi der Robert, nice to hear someone who is grafting shrubs well done. I will be doing grafting next season , need to get the root stocks growing first. I will also be taking soft fruit and hardwood cuttings this Autumn about October time. Many thanks For Watching Cliff
I am waiting in anticipation for your video then :)
Before christmas, i will take some cuttings to graft Apples and so on. I will comment on your video how it went. Cheers from Berlin, Germany.
I learn so much from your videos! If you dont mind me asking, and please feel free to ignore if it is too personal, what was your occupation prior to retirement? You are so knowledgeable and there seems to be nothing you cant do or build, that i would love to know more about your background. As always, thank you very much!
Hi gayla. I have been gardening all my life, head gardener, Diane and I owned a plant nursery. Now I'm retired. Building and plastering is something I have taught myself over the years. We now make RUclips videos to pass on what I have learned over the years. Have a good weekend regards Cliff.
