This argument about the developing countries also needs a discussion. What is a developing country? China, Brazil, Indonesia, South Korea can be considered developing countries after several decades of enrichment and etc.?

China has been lying about its population numbers for more than 20 years, because of the economic advantages it offers - ie. it is still classed as a developing nation based on GDP per capita and having the largest population attracts investment. China's real population is 800 million not 1.4 billion, at 800 million China is a developed nation. China produces more than 60% of the world's greenhouse gas from their 3000+ coal fired power plant - how much is China contributing to assist the developing world with climate change? Other than building coal fired plants all over the world? I hope western leaders are not planning to hand over 300 billion in cash to the developing world - it will all go into the pockets of 3rd world politicians and military. It only makes sense if developed nations gift renewable energy services and equipment from companies headquartered in the source country.,

one google search about "Beijing AQI" will debunk your whole argument, it's 2024 now, not 2023 and below... Also not even mentioning the fact that it is Chinese companies that supply your solar equipment, you need to wake up and realize they compete in high-end tech already..
(I agree on the Western countries not handing money btw, as a person from a developing nation it will literally just line the pockets of political dynasty families here)

The West exploited cheap fossil fuels to fuel its Industrial Revolution, becoming the primary contributors to the climate crisis we face today. Now, as developing countries are beginning their own industrial revolutions, you're demanding we abandon cheap fossil fuels and imposing carbon emission standards that deliberately hinder our economic growth. You expect us to switch to costly energy sources without providing adequate support. If you want us to comply, pay up-compensate us for the restrictions you're forcing upon us. Understand the issue properly before making baseless arguments. The West owes the developing world, and it’s time you acknowledge it.🤫🤫🤫🤫

Developing countries need to change their government so they have the resources needed to stand on their sovereign feet. Until that happens they will be in continual poverty… and should not expect taxpayer’s from so called developed countries (global north) to support them. The ratio is 1 billion people working for 7 billion other’s. The developing global south must change their government to a capitalist system and end the corruption, then they can start paying for their own infrastructure.

AUS will decrease thousands of jobs.....
For climate goal , China continuously reduce coal power plant output. Thus reduce coal import from AUS.
The IEA says China has hit peak oil - Oil markets face enormous glut.
    International Energy Agency :
from now to 2030, China's renewable energy installed capacity is expected to account for nearly 60% of the world's total installed capacity.
By 2030, China will have more than half of the world's renewable energy , and China’s solar energy output is equal to the entire nation’s consumption in the U$.
