- Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Roulette! In this series @MBTYuGiOh and I spin a wheel featuring every Secret Pack in Master Duel. We then build decks using 20 of only those Secret Packs before playing a Match to determine that episode’s winner. The winner of each episode gets to decide if they want the first or second Secret Pack from the wheel during the next episode, but they must choose before seeing what the second spin lands on! Since it's come up (again?), I do want to make special mention of the Blue-Eyes pack, "Azure in the Ivory." Yes, it is very true that Vanilla Blue-Eyes is not in the pack - HOWEVER, I want to suggest another situation like the "3 copies of polymerization" rule that was added for the HERO episode. I think that if either player ends up with the Blue-Eyes pack, they should be allowed to play EXACTLY TWO copies of regular Blue-Eyes, since you receive two of them in one of the starter decks when you first create your account. In fact, this is why they're not in the pack!
This. I would love to see this rule implemented for all Anime Decks with missing Ace Monsters, but I would be ok with at least Blue Eyes.

@@siux8043 I suppose with other decks like Dark Magician, Red-Eyes, and Neos, you should be allowed to craft one copy of the ace monster (since they're a UR), but Blue-Eyes in particular is the only case where the central monster literally isn't in the pack.

This is...the most miserable shit i have ever seen in my entire fucking existence. This cost me 50 years of life to watch through and for some reason i did it anyway. Untold and immeassurable amounts of torment and suffering. The innermost circles of Hell according to Dantes Inferno consist of nothing but an endless sea of monitors and handy screens playing this episode on an infinite loop.

Not only it's funny to watch MBT freak out every time it gets dropped, it's even funnier if she just is following Doug being the intrusive thoughts of "come on, you should totally play all the level one monster reasonable and unreasonable just to see how MBT reacts!"
First, at this point, Doug needs a Royal Rare Ensemblue so he can keep playing his Ace Monster. Second, holy shit, that was a complete shitshow of Prank-Kids pulls, with only a couple upsides. I really wish we'd gotten Joseph's reaction to learning you only had 1 Dropsies and 1 Fansies, and the consistency with which you were able to maintain the Prank-Kids loop once establishing it, despite the bad tools you had to do so, is a testament to the archetype's power.

Case Brief: Avery v. Midland Country
Ruling: Local districts have to be roughly proportional in population under the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment (Or in plain English, Districts for your state reps have to be roughly equal in population)
Facts of the case:
1. Hank Avery lived in midland texas, and was a taxpayer
2. The Districts in texas where drawing districts based on vibes and political horsetrading
3. Hank sued being all "Yo, My Man Warren says "you gotta make the map sizes roughly proportional equal protection"
4. district court agreed with hank
5. Appeals court overturned (like punks) saying basically "Nuh uh, the words didn't say SPECIFICALLY that you gotta have equal population"
6. Texas supreme court told the appeals court to shove it because "Jesus christ guys, we literally had a supreme court case about this basic thing like 4 years ago l2read nerds"

Annoying your opponent with Ojama card while boring him to death with Prankids cards for an hour. The perfect combo!
Honestly one of the best episodes, I'm sure it was a chore to watch on stream so I get Doug putting people (him and MBT included) out of their misery by attacking the ojamas in game 2 but I'd have loved to see it played out even if one of them auto surrenders game 3. It looked like it was in a place where it could have been ended in a few of quick turns (especially from MBT basically only being able to draw and poke)

Honestly, I dont feel like this counts as a dezeeff loss. He threw so MBT could study for his exam tomorrow (and for his own sanity of not playing what was pretty much mystic mine. That is the most based thing i've seen in the series. He very well could have stalled the game to hell, but chose otherwise so the episode would end.
I think he didn't choose. I'd really want to know if he knew what he was doing ...

@@raffaelg757 As we saw game 1, he could have very well sat there for another hour. Even if he didnt have an out to what was essencially a 3k beater, he could go all caveman yugioh and set pass till the cows come home.
Not to mention, after he got rid of the tokens, he literally told his chat (after they complained) "I dont want to be here another hour. And MBT has school tomorrow"

Are the fact that Prank-Kids, Ojamas, and Dustons are in the same pack a Rata reference? On the Ojama's Pathetic Aesthetic, Rata and Jimbles look at the card Ojama Pajama, where the Ojama's are having a slumber party with Duston bedsheets. Rata and Jimbles decide that the Ojama's must have broken into the house of another archetype of small things and decide that the house was owned by Prank-kids.

Master saga
The issue is that the master duel secret packs aren't roughly ordered by power level the way tcg sets are. That's why all the dzeeff master duel series do random packs instead with some ability to choose so the duds can be avoided.
@@Norticus selection pack, not secret pack. There's no chronological progression in master saga because it's basically been the same card pool over 3 seasons. Konami overwhelmingly adds new cards via selection packs as opposed to updating secret packs.

@Dzeeff the reason you can't order your pranks correctly is you didn't have your activation settings switched to manual. This is incredibly important to do, without it you can't order anything.
This shit is why I love MBT. He set up the jankiest Spell and Trap Negate G1 and was still in danger of losing.
Also I'd just like to say, that though it was a drag, it was very enjoyable to watch. More garbage decks like this and we'll have something phenomenal.

This is so random but me and my best friend make Yugioh’s drag race seasons and ensemblue robin won season 3 and ever since she’s shown up in like almost every episode with Doug since 😭 her impact!

@@fortidogi8620 we’re on season 6 and did all stars 1…we’ve also done pokemon’s drag race but we used to make the show up/outfits over the phone in real time. We only just switched to the simulator a month ago.
I love ya Doug, but man, why should I get invested in the competitive nature of the series if you're just going to throw for time?
Grindier matches like these are a lot more interesting to watch than one-sided stompings which are pretty common for the series and actually allow you to show off your dueling and deckbuilding skills within the constraints of the series. Longer, more competitive duels like these which don't involve oppressive floodgates actually give you guys a chance to demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of the cards/archetypes you're playing. I was honestly disappointed that you guys decided not to play it out seriously.
If you're looking for quality may I suggest team APS?

Dark eclipser is under-rated. It’s not great for every situation but an opponent attempting to sit and stall on random traps, especially in a sealed environment, is great. It’s a blue-eyes stat-wise and under Tin-can you can reveal it and destroyer and even if you don’t get destroyer, Dark-eclipser can get destroyer to your hand, making it a 2/3 chance to get destroyer on tin-can if your opponent is destroying cards or you’ve got koz-mojo. Also, combo’d with Dark Lady, her and eclipser can be somewhat oppressive since they’re very easy to get out negates.

17:30 Not much has hurt me in these Roulette videos. But seeing Doug slam that Poly down first thing without going through the basic combo hurt my soul. I get they don't know these decks/cards inside and out, but with Meow it's such a potent bread and butter combo that I felt that one
I watched this whole episode. Am I insane or is it normal to enjoy seeing MBT go into insanity as he watches the same combo over and over again?
Doug, you had better plays on turn 8. Tribute the Chicken, get back 2 prank kids. Fuse one and the Lampsies into Weather Washer. Get the +500 atk buff to your board from the field spell. Attack over the 2500 Kozmo with the 2900 Metalfoes card, and take out the rest of his board.

Would love to see Azure in the Ivory stay on the wheel, just give the person who has the pack x3 Blue Eyes and you have yourself a deck that's STILL probably gonna lose to whatever the pack is, but at least it'd be interesting!
I get That Dzeef and Mbt were losing it. but as my first deck trying to competitivly play was prank-kids and I have smoll brain , i must say prank-kids is not as hard as you made it look X'D i guess thats the brain melting happeneds X'D
I have no clue if you figured this out because I'm only about 20 minutes into the video, but choosing the order of Trigger Effects is a setting you have to switch on. It's likely that you never had a need to switch that setting on for the Master Roulette account

It'd be really nice if Konami let us de-craft cards that come out of the legacy tickets because I'm sitting on 10 of some of those useless UR and SR. Either that or just stop giving us copies of cards we have an abundance of.

Ojama is technically a prototype of mystic mine and when combined with prank kids grindiness you just created a mystic mine deck out deck you technically have the better deck since nobody enjoys playing against mystic mine I'm just glad it's over
Sometimes being bad is good. Doug playing like ass and throwing so hard is fun to watch and what made game 1 so incredible. If both people were playing optimally it probably wouldn't be a good series
