@@DrDrao Virtual World's pack is Cyber City Guardians and they haven't pulled that yet. I THINK there's an episode where he summoned VFD but it was through other means.
As a Lyrilusc player, this episode caused me physical pain. Assembled Nightengale is such a fantastic OTK enabler. Also forgetting to reattach wagtail was rough. Good stuff to Dzeeff pulling it out though I know the deck can be tough first time playing it
I feel you. His obsession with Robin was just too much for me to handle. He could close the game sooner if he wasn't so focused on the booba. Still a fun episode just because of birb representation
Assembled is great. But without the recital, its tough to build any sort of board and get enough birds on field. So Doug basically got 1 extra deck bird on field max. Ensemblue single-handedly shut down all of Joseph's combos. Doug was winning anytime he had it on field with mats. That being said, the wagtail misplays hurt lol...
Tons of little misplays too, like not detaching wagtail first since it's basically a free detach, and not prioritizing adding the correct cards off of swallow and wagtail, but it's cool, these are lots of decks they need to play
that set taketomborg play was very peculiar, it was high reward, but enormous risk, he meant to protect it with necro gardna, but could have done the same with the guitar or gave it more protection with marble machine, or simply search for terrortop earlier with it.
It's funny to think that if Doug would've played well the Lirylusc strategy, this could've been easy one of the most one sided ep of roullete ever. Really fun matches
As someone who uses Gimmick Puppets, I understand lol Their link monster is pretty good but it's a UR so if you don't get it, it just sucks so much. I kinda want to try Therion King with them once that comes out in MD.
34:53 That's the beauty of Lunalight. You didn't need to. Crash blue cat, SS blue cat, activate blue cat doubling panther's ATK, beat the link mon twice for game.
Doug going into promenade instead of nightengale to attack multiple times and also attaching the wagtail as material instead of letting it attach itself automatically game one just hurt my bones
One of the coolest episodes in recent history, loving this. It was kinda a lot of heavy lifting by ensembluerobin but i mean c'mon Doug earned this after pulling the absolute worst possible dogshit for like 20 episodes straight. Also its not like it was a guaranteed win either, it was really tense right up to the end.
I recently built Lunalight on Master Duel and pulling that pack is dicey because the Lunalight Fusions are all SR and above except for Cat Dancer which is a Rare. Lunalight Fusion also being an SR makes things tricky.
Dude Doug could have won game 3 SO EASILY, he just completely forgot about assembled nightingale and the fusion... I don't think MBT's speedroids even had an out to assembled nighingale??
I am a smooth brain most of the time but there are like 2 decks I know how to play, one of which is Lyrilusc and while Doug didn't play optimally at all, he didn't do too bad seeing as he hasn't played the archetype before and it was on a limited pull. I'm just glad to see it get played!
I think this is the first time I've ever gotten so upset about misplays. I'm glad Doug won and got to show off some of the things the birds can do, and I know he hasn't played either archetype before, but MAN Not only did he not make nightingale at all (and then burn with indie for style points and a towers), I think he also had game when he crashed with blue cat, since he could've summoned another cat and buffed his fusion up to 5600. It would then attack twice over the crystal wing and he could've gotten in directly with the cat still Either way, good games and very fun episode, shame to see this pack drop off the wheel
I don't know why you were not happy you were giving him a beating. it was so nice to see. I was so nervous, exited, and hyped that you gave him hell. it feels good. Let us keep the Christmas miracles coming baby!!!!!
Solar Wind Jammer was in the Gimmick Puppet pack because Dyson Sphere is also in the pack, and the character that used that card also used Solar Wind Jammer.
My only wish is that Dzeeff went for Independent Nightingale; it might have lost him the game, but it would've been SO funny... And if he somehow got it out at level 4 or 5 (so having 3 or 4 mats under the XYZ birb), MBT had no outs to a 3000+ attack Towers other than battle - the level 5 one only being outed by Crystal Wing specifically. Easy to say in hindsight, but it was still a good video. Both played well, especially since Dzeeff doesn't play the birbs.
unfortunately, doug doesn't have lyrilusc recital starling (searcher) and bird sanctuary (combine 2 XYZ monsters - increase the amount of material xyz). so it will be difficult to have lyrilusc assamble nightingale more than 5 materials besides that, beryl canary limits extra deck summons to xyz, so she can't do fusion summons
MBT had access to a pretty funny and convoluted combo in Game 3 (Turn 4) that made Crystal Wing (and probably could've won him the game): Normal Marble and search Terrortop --> Torrential to kill Ensemblue and clear his field --> SS Terrortop and search Taketomborg --> Taketomborg SS Red-Eyed Dice and use effect to make Taketomborg Lv 4 --> SS Car Turbo --> Synchro into Clear Wing with Terrortop and Car Turbo --> Clear Wing + Dice --> Crystal Wing.
Doug, game two you had game. All you had to do was attack with blue cat into crystal wing, special summon another blue cat, double panther’s attack, and then double attack rubber band with 5600.
As a lyrilusc enjoyer watching Doug is going to give me ptsd nightmares, I’m sorry for any birb players out there who were affected by these war crimes we’re here for you 🙏
I don't think Doug realized in the last play in the last game when he summoned from the gy with perfume that he could have flexed even harder by summoning the Blue cat, then blue cat effect to double the Cat Dancers atk
Why are you guys so down on Lyrilusc? It's a really cool Rank 1 strategy and the only one of its kind unless you want to count Drytron. Really enjoyed this deck actually seeing some play in Bird Up and the newer support is super sick
it was so triggering how dzeeff every time without fail detached wagtail last even after "reading" and activating the in grave effect to attach multiple times. i guess if you don't read your cards a million times one of those times that leads to a win at some point
Didn't Doug have lethal game two? Crash cat, summon second cat, double Panther's attack, beat over the 1k monster twice with over 5k attack. Am I missing something?
As a bird player it was killing me that Doug kept attaching wag tail from grave with sapphire effect. It can attach itself from grave.
hahaha and I'm pretty sure he could've cheesed a win through Assembled Nightingale direct attacks + inmmunity for a turn.
@@GioXYZ For sure. I'm screaming the entire time: stop summoning Blue, you have a easier win con.
i thought i was the only one. i was like, why isnt he detaching wagtail, he can just reattach it back during his turn anyways
@@GioXYZ Assembled Nightingale there crying "summon me! summon me!"
name of the game baby. he never reads a card.
"Can we end on the link 2?"
MBT is officially the Cimo of Master Roulette
legitimately has the Pharaohs spirit to will cards he needs into his pulls.

I could have sworn there was an episode where mbt pulls 2 vfd in the virtual world pack, but I can't find it anywhere. Did I imagine this?

Ghostrick clickbait
My boys the speedroids getting done in like that is a heartbreaker, especially after such good pulls, but it was a good match.
Dzeef just happen to pull 2 of the perfect counters against Speedroids that specials a lot

Dont know why but Dzeef not detaching Celestine Wagtail from his Xyz's first, trigerred me so much
Yeah it was a meta deck... Lol
mbt looks at his hand and seas the end board hes about to make, dzeeff looks at buttons and clicks them

didn't think MBT could get more based and then he pulled out a 100 gecs reference
Wow, and Arc-V themed episode by accident, and a pretty good one too!
Mbt really out here like, I will simply pull the correct cards

Doug winning with two of my favorite archetypes, love to see it! :)
This was for real the best episode in the series so far!
LETS GOO! this your year doug keep it up man!
Cheating just to gaslight Doug while gaining no advantage. A truly based MonoBlueTron moment.

They both played decks I use religiously and I can say for 100% they weren't cooking... Fun episode still!
crashing blue cat, couldn’t he use a second blue cat to double panther dancer attack?
Just started the episode, but as one of my favorite decks, I hope to god Doug has played luna lights before and he does it justice.
Well. No he didn't but he dealt the final blow with them, so i think we can't complain xD
Always a joy to see these videos in my sub box

Hey Doug, have you thought of maybe doing a biweekly/monthly progression series of the master duel selection packs?
So this is just the Arc-V anime episode we never got to see.
This might be the episode with the most misplays from Doug. Not big misplays, but a boatload of smaller misplays.
MBT disparages chat: loses the mandate of heaven
many such cases
This is the dzeeff redemption arc
Nice, it seems that the era of long MBT winstreaks is over! Good match BTW.
Dzeeff overcoming the usual MBT pack draw luck through the power of birds, beautiful (and because of some luck of his own ;))
doug not summoning blue cat off of blue cat and missing lethal on game 2 is so depressing
it was so triggering how dzeeff every time without fail detached wagtail last even after "reading" and activating the in grave effect to attach multiple times. i guess if you don't read your cards a million times one of those times that leads to a win at some point
As a lunalight player it killed me how he died use blue to boost the attack
seeing the video is 54 minutes I knew it was going to be a wild match
I like that even when Doug wins, he still doesn't read the cards.
Damn it's crazy how much that second copy of ensemblue mattered also I'm super disappointed that Doug never made the numeron gate
I'm disappointed that Doug had no idea how to play either deck
He caused me and quite a few other lyrilusc players physical pain
Anyone mind telk me whar happen with the magic mbt talking about?
This is the hypest thing to ever be hype
Any chance you could turn chat to emote only during the matches?
Edit: 42:58 how did joseph now catch that one
I'd like to think that it was Toadally Awesome that lead Doug to victory
Speedroid vs. Lunalight, boy this was a match.
Didn't Doug have lethal game two? Crash cat, summon second cat, double Panther's attack, beat over the 1k monster twice with over 5k attack. Am I missing something?
Lunalight and Lyrilusc both have been meta, no idea why they didn't had faith on them...
Because they’re not meta together.
This is an Arc V episode I love this
why would he discard marble? 18:26 that's like discarding a Stratos... Maybe MBT thinks, Daiko-Duke can only special from hand
Feels so good to see Doug getting a win with Lunalights, one of my all time faves
Is mbts audio off for u guys too?
Its hilarious that this turned into an arcv battle both packs are cards arcv chars used
