This song makes me dream with my eyes open .relieve the years where mother and father were so young .so was my sister.it was 1962 and I had emigrated from Cuba to Miami .I was 11 years old.i never knew anything about wars ,I lived in a beautiful farm that belonged to my paternal grandfather.the music was incredible,as my marginal neighbor Hood progressed I found that our little group of first generation Cubans ,were sent the draft notices that you had to show up at such a place ,such a time .the change that the Vietnam war brought to marginal barrios was noticeable.most young adults did not have any idea of what was coming .this so g is eternal.
