So happy to discover another small channel! Very interesting project, and very high quality video. Was expecting a channel with like 100k subs for this kind of video.
Thank you I'm only 1m45s in and you've solved one of my problems - powering the heater ring inside the dome. Not needed if I use PoE and make holes in the enclosure. We've just moved into a bortle 4 area and I think I know what I'll be working on this weekend now.
This is awesome. I have a couple of PI 4s but I'm thinking my downtown Bortle 8-9 skies will not look very good. My new ZWO Seestar S50 is working wonderfully in these bright skies. I can't wait to take it camping.
Very good video. Unfortunately Allsky has not been keeping up with ZWO camera releases. It would not recognize my 676 and I understand it doesn't recognize the 678. I finally found a similar tool, indi-allsky. The missing cameras issue have been going on since May with promises of an update for several months. Not your fault of course. Just passing it along for folks that might try to use allsky with a newer ZWO camera and then get part way through the install and not be able to complete it. Again a very good video and many things from the indi version will apply.
Well, I'm in a village of 200 people and there's no other settlements for miles. So like, we have maybe 2 dozen streetlights, but then nothing. Probably safe to say B4. I get around 21 on my SQM.
Thanks for making me aware of allsky. oh my....i found a use for my few surplus pi's \o/ A new problem, how will i get safely get onto my roof...hmm :D :D

Yes I'm planning to make a follow up video on Indi AllSky. I've already made the switch.
I can't get enough of this channel. Thanks for this video. What kind of light pollution do you experience?
