The Emotions! One of my favorite female groups of all time! Period! AIso, I had the privilege of witnessing Janice Marie Johnson (featuring "A Taste of Honey") in concert with Martha Wash, Thelma Houston, Maxine Nightingale, Anita Ward, and Cheryl Lynn in Detroit at Chene Park. She was great! The entire show was great.The moment that stands out during Janice's set is that this seasoned artist was performing in her high heeled shoes, looking as beautiful, if not more beautiful than she did 30 years ago, in all her regalia, including her wearing a kimono during her performance of "Sukiyaki", took a backwards fall on stage. Being the professional she is, continued to sing and play on her back. The crowd went wild and stood to it's feet and continued to "Boogie Oogie, Oogie! :-)
