Rachel has one of the most pleasing vibratos I’ve ever heard in my life! It is so consistent! She’s a beast! Her resonance on all those top notes were so incredibly pro! She has such a bright voice but mixes some darkness through her registers that makes her tone so warm! Then, the freaking growls she added, my lord… I can’t wait for her to be a lead on Broadway! I love a singer with control! She would kill some Fanny Brice songs! Every time she sings she actually gives me Sutton Foster vibes!!!
this is my favorite song from shrek the musical. her vibrato is so strong and prominent, its genuinely beautiful. her growl on "yes, id be a hero" was also so amazing. she deserves everything good that comes her way.
I guess I'd be a hero, with sword and armor clashing Looking semi-dashing, a shield within my grip Or else I'd be a Viking and live a life of daring While smelling like a herring upon a Viking ship I'd sail away, I'd see the world I'd reach the farthest reaches I'd feel the wind, I'd taste the salt and sea And maybe storm some beaches That's who I'd be, that's who I'd be Or I could be a poet and write a different story One that tells of glory and wipes away the lies And to the skies I'd throw it, the stars would do the telling The moon would help with spelling and night would dot the I's I'd write a verse, recite a joke With wit and perfect timing I'd share my heart, confess the things I yearn And do it all while rhyming But we all learn, but we all learn An ogre always hides An ogre's fate is known An ogre always stays In the dark and all alone So yes, I'd be a hero, and if my wish was granted Life would be enchanted, or so the stories say Of course I'd be a hero, and I would scale a tower To save a hot-house flower, and carry her away But standing guard would be a beast, I'd somehow overwhelm it I'd get the girl, I'd take a breath, and I'd remove my helmet We'd stand and stare, we'd speak of love We'd feel the stars ascending, we'd share a kiss I'd find my destiny, I'd have a hero's ending A perfect happy ending, that's how it would be A big, bright, beautiful world, but not for me

I think she absolutely owned the song it felt so empowering I just wish I could hear it with the accent the original song is sung with which is supposed to be Scottish but is in actuality very Irish almost exactly sounds like a woman from Finglas
she sang a Sondheim tribute at the Grammys with Ben Platt, Leslie Odom Jr, and Cynthia Erivo, and she sang at a christmas event at 54 below, but i think this is her first professional musical theater performance
@@MATDMixesno she didn’t. We saw the interview (one) where she said that you copy paste everywhere. You guys are a joke. You quoting a promo. She is not hating the old Disney movie at all. If you look it up, she performed a lot of them already, she is a Disney fan… this hate mania is for the Disney movie changes that not she made. You could recast her and??? The girl boss stays, the 7 magical beings stay, the prince still won’t have any important role… see the point? It’s not her problem. The only thing you can say: she is not white enough. Yet not she casted herself.
“The way she behaved during the Snow White press tour is disgusting” and all she said was that the movie was outdated in some aspects (it’s over 90 years old) and that the writers made the decision to change the “damsel in distress” aspect of the movie. Obviously you don’t have to agree with what she said or the WRITERS decisions but saying it’s disgusting is blowing it way out of proportion, it’s not like she hurt anyone or caused any actual impact on the real world with her comment, she stated her opinion on an old Disney movie and explained changes that were made in the live action, which, as the main character, is kinda her job. If you like her Acting and her voice then leave it at that, you don’t have to like someone as a person to appreciate their work. With that being said, i would recommend watching more videos/interviews with her and her costars because she genuinely seems like one of the kindest people in Hollywood right now and her costars have nothing but good things to say about her!
Hey! She actually didn’t take part in writing the movie or casting it! Infact, she didn’t even know who she was auditioning for originally because it was a secret! Don’t hate her for whatever issues you have or MIGHT have (as the movie isn’t out yet) with the live action Snow White

She really owned it!
Her voice is just so clear , powerful and it has an air that makes it elegant and timeless , it’s golden and definitely a modern classic
Elegant and timeless indeed!!
love bonnie milligan shaking her head in awe in the background the whole time
Amazing!!
She knows exactly what it's like to knock a Tesori/Lindsay-Abaire song right out of the park.
@@justinnaniong7872 she knocked her performance out of the park as well that evening!
Her voice just makes me feel emotional. She uses her emotion and voice so well and it just feels so raw and real🫶
She is truly gifted
Her vowel placement is so utterly perfect.

I think she can make a new disney character iconic with this amazing voice ❤. It doesn't need to be Snow White.
I wish she would play Evita one day 😍
First goosebumps of the day, ty

does anyone know which key she’s singing in??

Has she sung in front of a live “Broadway audience” before this?
she sang a Sondheim tribute at the Grammys with Ben Platt, Leslie Odom Jr, and Cynthia Erivo, and she sang at a christmas event at 54 below, but i think this is her first professional musical theater performance
She played Fiona in Shrek the Musical on Broadway
@@Yehudagoldmanphoto I don't think so. She did it for her high school production.
Ploop
Such a lovely voice and great performer. Just needs to learn not to be to put spoken
She sounds nothing like Shrek
That's the whole point of Miscast, they're all singing parts they would never be cast for!!
Ur a little slow
Isn't that Snow White not liking Snow White?
For God’s sake. She never said that

She’s so annoying as a person but she can sang I’ll give her that
So you fell for the propaganda?
I'm conflicted because she's an amazing actress and singer but the way she's been behaving during the Snow White press tours is disgusting.
She literally didn’t do anything. And it wasn’t the press tour, the movie isn’t even out yet. Duh.
