Any idea where we can see the entire performance? This man is superb. Crossing fingers for his 2nd Tony because it's not just the glorious voice but his acting that makes him so deserving.
I mean, true, but the point of Miscast was for artists to perform roles that might be in their wheelhouse but they'd otherwise never be able to portray in an actual production for various reasons. Despite Ben Platt's incredible singing prowess, he'd never be cast as Elphaba due to him being a man (unless there'd be a genderbent version of Wicked a la Company in the future)
I don’t care if anyone doesn’t like Ben Platt for deh. But you can’t deny this man can sing like a god and his voice is so smooth sounded and perfect
