I feel like a kindergartener, but you are a good teacher. I've watched several tutorials on this song, and this was the most helpful. I especially love the ending. Acoustic Layla please
You've got a great singing voice.Sweet variation on the guitar solo 10/10.
That's great timing! I just started working on that tune a few days ago and now you present your nice version of it. Thanks a lot
Great voice and tutorial.
I learned this tune from, what turns out to be, watered-down versions. Yours sounds more soulful. Thanks for this. I'll have to check out your other lessons.
I have to compliment Rob not only on his teaching but also his playing. I ve been playing and teaching for decades and I have come across excellent players in that time who don t teach that well and great teachers whose performances didn t exactly blow me away.
What I like about Rob is he is teaching material that isn t over challenging and modelling it in such a way that you just have to pick up your guitar. I ve been playing all my life and he has that effect on me.
Check out his other stuff.
When i first started guitar i hated you, but now that i jumped over the hill, i love you. You are a great teacher for sure, thank you
Great lesson! It's important to have our own approach. I appreciate this concept.
Thank you Rob!🎶🎶🎶
Absolutely, putting a little of your self into a piece makes it so much more fun. Enjoy your practice Nicole!
What a beautiful & giving vibe you have going on here brother. Thank you for the lesson and inspiring an old dog in his 50's to pick up his guitar and start playing again.
And let me tell you from experience; it's not until you have taken some knocks in Life that this song really pumps through your veins and has true meaning. Without sounding patronising; you, young man have done a great job teaching us how to play this universally relatable song.
Good luck to you & God bless. 😊🎸
So many lessons for this song that i couldn't follow. Finally one that i can follow. Thank you
Hey Stanley, awesome, so glad mine is doing the trick. Enjoy your practice! -Rob
My favourite song of all time. You did a great job with it!
Hi, have not picked up my guitar for some time. Really needed this lesson to get me going again. My sincere thanks to you!
Right on David! So glad this lesson is motivating you to pick it back up. Let's keep it going! -Rob
Absolutely brilliant and so are the vocals
I've been wanting to learn this song for a couple months now. I finally sat down today to learn it. I was watching another RUclips lesson, but I saw yours and I love it!!! Much easier to follow. How timely! Thank you!
Great arrangement and guitar playing as well as singing - a vocaltron!!
Nice man. Just found you on Green Rocky Road. I always kinda attempted this song, knew there was a lot of chord changes. I knew Bessie’s version first, then Scrapper Blackwell, anyway, I watched what you did and got it before your badass solo!! Thanks.
Great song and very informative video. Excellent work Rob
You are one of the very best , i loved it !
This is the only channel that thought me lead guitar honestly ❤️now that I have my PC that's why I subscribed to your channel you are a great teacher.

Awesome explanations and lesson. I'm hooked on your vids. Also, great mic, you can actually hear the pick hitting the floor :)
I love the unplugged version Clapton did, but the version he did for the Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs album is my favorite, maybe because him and Allman play guitar, my two favorite guitars
Great tutorial, thanks so much!
BRAVO BRAVISSIMO, GOSTEI MUITO, JÁ ESTOU PRATICANDO, GOSTO MUITO DAS VERSOES DE ERIC CLAPTON

Cool.
You are so special...awesome wish you were my tutor. Love you very much❤❤❤
Wow, thank you Bridgette, I'll keep the lessons coming!
@@swiftlessons Thank you very much. It is a pity I live so far away from you. I live in Jamaica. If I was near to you, I would be a Prof.on the guitar. My son lives in Australia and his first child is a girl and because I can help myself on the guitar and I sing too, I told her Dad to introduce her to music so she is learning the piano and she is singing up a storm....she is nine years old. If she too was near to you, I would put her under your wings. I really appreciate your response and I have to say this again, you are awesome and you have a great personality❤️❤️🇯🇲. I wish for you continued success and good health!
Thank you!
My pleasure, thanks so much for watching, please share if you have a moment. Enjoy your progress! -Rob
Wow ..👍
Buenísimo
¡Muchas gracias!
Hey now that is one supercool guitar! Did you have pedals before? I'm wondering if you can loop without using your hands?
Very good version Rob Daniel from France
Hey Rob, thanks for the positive note, glad you enjoyed this. Many more are on the way, both here and at Patreon.com/swiftlessons. Be well. -Rob
Hi, great lesson. Please tell me which Hyvibe do you use..
I see you use many acoustic guitars in your videos, what is your go-to #1 acoustic if you had to pick?
Great cover though I prefer the Scapper Blackwell version.
You dang son of a gun!
Sweet painting of sea captain smoking a pipe. I can tell he's down and out.
Man brother you are you crazy great I want to hang with you son my god😊😊😊😊
Bem desafinada sua voz.
Clapton's just a thief. This is a song by Jimmie Cox, in 1923. And performed by REAL blues greats like Scrapper Blackwell. Poochie on Clapton!!!!!!!!
If Clapton is a thief, then so is Scrapper, and anyone else who does a cover. I think it’s great that Eric did this and so many other old blues songs, he continues to introduce them to new generations.
