200 gr of flour is a generous 1 1/2 cups. I made this Lemon Loaf yesterday using 195 gr flour and 3 tsp lemon zest. Nice video and delicious bread! It's even better a day later.
@@MSGC55Sugar not only is there for sweetener but it also gives the loaf the moistness and extended shelf life, you can reduce the sugar up to 25% any more than that will result to a dry cake, and if you want just omit the icing😊

Very good recipe! Super moist & fluffy, not crumbly. For those concerned, don't worry when you add the lemon juice and everything curdles. Just whisk it really well and move on. It comes out perfect. I used a slightly smaller pan and would've liked the slices even taller, so I may try scaling it up and using a little more batter.

I tried this last evening. Flavor is spot-on! However, the texture was dry. I am going to try it again and increasing the oil (or add some mayo), and perhaps a 1/2 cup of sour cream.
Dont increase the oil! I spotted a mistake in the written recipe. and maybe your comment can help me. On the screen, the metric ingredient says 200 gr of flour. But the USA recipe says to use 1 ¼ cups flour. A cup of flour weighs 120 g. So, 1 ¼ cup flour will only weigh 150 grams, not 200 g. If you followed the grams measurements in this recipe, this is why your bread was too dry. Please let me know which way you did your bread recipe. I want to make this right.

I think I'll try it with the 150g because I certainly don't want a dry cake. Where did you use the vanilla, or you did it step by step ? And not look at the list of ingredients
I added the vanilla extract as part of the “wet” ingredients, so I mixed it in after the eggs.

Could it have been overcooked? Cooking time may vary in some ovens. Hopefully the texture will be better next time!
