A lot of people use Bolany forks here in the Philippines including myself 2 years ago. My 1st bike had a Bolany oilslick and it performed well on light but fast trails and on the road. Now my kid is using my bike and he loves the fork. Really cheap but great in terms of performance and I’m glad we have options like this.
Nailed it!!! I did say 30 on the initial impressions video but then put 31 in the realtime review video! Lil Squatch smiles when watching your videos now. Looks like Bolany makes a decent budget fork, now to see if they hold up for the long haul.
For the price, who cares if it's rebuildable.....not a pro fork....but seems good enough for the backwoods trail ride that I do. I am glad for your reviews, because if it's trash you'll say it's trash. Great job guys, thanks 😊.
Agreed, this fork would look great on the new Axum Comp X . Enjoyed the new format for reviewing the forks. Hayes Creek needs some work for sure , that trail not in the best shape at the moment. Next time check out the Red Lick Trails in Clarksville, specifically the Talihina Tour trail. Lots of big berms and tabletops and it's in great shape. You can also check out the black diamond Raven trail. You'll definitely want to scout that one first though!
I like the idea of you guys revisiting the forks you have already reviewed to see how they are holding up. I'm a pretty hefty these days '210lbs' so it would be nice to see which forks are handling the stress the best since I would no doubt be putting some serious stress on them if I equipped them to one of my bikes. I know we are in different weight classes but if they are failing under Tick's weight they will certainly fail under mine.
I agree with Wolfman this is something for green/blue with limits, and would be ok for a lighter rider on those trails. Like I said last video, I know people who rode these and they feel 'ok' to 'nice'... at first but usually not for long. Stanchions get some play and become more sticky so less smalls compliance mainly, but also just quality issues with rebound no longer being adjustable ect. Last time I also said you can't get maintenance kits for these, turns out I'm wrong you can get new wipers and seals ect. Still don't know a service point which would actually service them.
It seems very capable, particularly at that price. At that price, who cares if can't get a service kit for it, just run it until dies and then replace it. Great review, very scientific guys 👍🍻😎
I saw a guy on a fazzari with a botany fork on it at alifia in florida! I can't imagine that fork lasted very long on our best trail system in florida!
@wolftickvideos Can you please note which forks are tapered head tube design and which ones are not? I'm looking for the best budget fork for my GT Aggressor Pro.

yep i don't mind buying some bologna when my lutu takes a dump. not sure how many years that'll be, but budget forks are not a bad option
Do you think it would make a great decision putting it on a city e-bike(no trails riding maybe a little bit of rough back roads)? Thanks
