The 1997-2001 Toyota Camry chimes may have been pitched down a bit and sampled on the intro of Jarina De Marco’s song “Catch Me”, which was featured on the spring 2019 Rakuten advertisement.
0:11 that’s my favorite gen of the Toyota Camry cuz my grandma had it before she passed away a couple months ago it was given to her best friend but I was around the car as much as my grandma was but it got towed away in a flood because it was parked illegally and it still runs after being in a flood I miss that car but I miss my grandma more than that car😢
The Toyota chime I’d like to hear alongside Sly and the Family Stone’s “Everyday People”, which Toyota used as their advertising campaign in the late 90s.
@@FSM_Reviews its the 2017 model year. The engine enough for what the Corolla weights, and I actually love the long throw of the gear stick, it gives a really positive feel and makes you a calm driver. Just a really relaxing car which, some may disagree, you can still throw in corners using momentum.
I rented a 2018 Camry for 9 days and it’s the most obnoxious sound ever. But I guess it’s a good thing because it made me put my seatbelt on. It literally would not shut up.
1997-2001 is the best chimes to me. The 2018-... is also good but I must agree with other comments that the in-between sounds like a microwave 😂. Still love Camrys though.
