100% I was a Toyota mechanic and they were phenomenal engines. I bought my 22 highlander because I knew it was going to be the last year with it and wanted one from new.
Absolutely! The 2GR-FE is such a magnificent beast. Even when you drive it easy it can get you to a high mph rather quickly if you're not paying attention. I hope to keep my '09 Camry V6 until it disintegrates. 😅
Fake numbers. Even here you can see what first was at least 9 sec (1-10 on video), second is 8 (16 to 24). Toyota claim 11.8 for 2.2 automatic. 11.8, not under 8, LOL. Maybe video was speeded up 10-15% additionally, thats whould be hard to notice.
Accelerated videos XV10 (130hp 0-100 7.9sec) (188hp 0-100 6.8sec) with automatic transmission, yeah sure😅 or speedometer show like +10-20km/h more than the real speed
I have a australian built 2004 mcv30 camry sportivo with 1mz and a 5 speed manual, i also have a australian built 1999 mcv20 camry csi with the 1mz and 5 speed
I gotta say as an owner of an XV20 Camry that exhaust note really surprised me the first time I laid into it. Genuinely reminds me of a 350z with its raspiness at the high ends, but at normal pace it’s manageable and quiet. Might be slow off the line I’ve kept pace with Mustang GT’s in the triple digits when I really let her breathe.
All time shoot from 0 to 100 km/h (0-60 mph) it's a bullshit. Never ever camry with 2.2 L4 (5S-FE) cannot did a 8.2 sec , never ever a V30 camry with 1mz-fe (3.0 V6 ) cannot did a 8 sec to 100 km/h. Just use a GPS tracker or special tool to gauge it. You will be surprised when you will see a real time of acceleration. Rest of all mentioned in video bodies - the same. Only 2-GR can show something with compare of others, but cannot win the race with german cars.
The 2007 Camry V6 was the point where it became so smooth so quick and quiet, one of the best engines ever made.

@@toms3965You sir are an absolute champ for going that route. I definitely missed out on that opportunity.

real. my dad owns one
The V6 engines sound so good 😭
Of course
The 2GR is an absolute weapon!
I remember hopping in my aunt’s for the first time and was shocked at how quick it was. Sleeper for sure
2AR-FE is a really good motor and it’s pretty peppy easy to work on as well
honestly, all of these were alot quicker than expected
Great❤
My grandma had a 2008 hybrid Camry that would absolutely move. Very impressive for what it was
There we can see how Camry keeps similar numbers in all generations 👌

Нуну. Турбо ваги на 180сил едут чуть быстрее 8сек, а тут 130сил, чё за бредятина. Даже новые премаки на вариаторе под 160 сил, еле с 9сек. Выезжают
0:40 is the best sounding
The 1MZ-FE Engine. Smooth as silk to drive
V40 v6 🚀 best

totally agree, these are impossible accelerations
The gearing completely kills any fun in the last gen v6
I used to service toyotas and the 3.5 2GRFE camrys and ravs have will surprise you
Xv10 and xv20is goated
So Toyota does make fast cars 😂

My hybrid camry works smooth after 10k miles. I have tested 0-60 less than 8.6 seconds .Not really fast, but fast enough for daily driving.
Camry the car of choice by indians.
Nice
lol. honda civic enters chat

E-cvt transmission is very slow, relative to engine displacement.
Look at the mileage😂😂😂😂
Where sv30 and sv40?
There's no SV30 or SV40. They don't exist. There is XV30 and XV40 though, which are in this video.
0-60, every time
ok now stop accelerating 😅
On the ones that have the top speed of 140 kmh he only does to 35 mph or 60 kmh
These videos are sped up, none of these cars are that quick
3:33 car name?
Blud that’s a Camry did you not see??💀
@@thatonecoolguy I know but what’s the full name of this car
@@thatonecoolguy cuz it has red
@@shahnoorsyed6769 it’s the xv70 or the SE trim I’m not sure

Fake
2010 v6 faster than all models
Literally the last camry is even tho I prefer the 2010
How so?
These are not real acceleration times. Whoever making this video is shaving 2-3 seconds off 0-100 times!
