Steve Bozich Wow! I really appreciate that! Hopefully, I can continue to grow the channel. This is my first time doing RUclips. I certainly know more about making sawdust than videos. Lol!
@@CampandCamera I agree with Steve! I just subscribed and will look forward to your adventures! Ps. where did you get your "gray water tank?" We ended up just using a Home Depot bucket... but I like yours... It has a lid! :) Thanks ~ Maria
I’m glad to have you aboard! The gray water tank is a waste oil jug I picked up at a local hardware store. I believe it’s the same one I found on Amazon here: Hopkins 11849 FloTool Dispos-Oil Recycle Oil Jug www.amazon.com/dp/B0014FKI1Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_oRIcDbDASZWMP
I think I know how now, how to use the tank and pump system to make a shower in my cargo trailer.thank you, just found this 1 hr ago..Great info, THANK YOU! well done!
Thanks for the tip on Albany County fasteners. I’m so tired of going to the Big Box hardware stores; so hard to get help, the customers mess up the stock, and when you finally find what you need... wrong size or not enough! Then it’s back to the design board to make do with whatever they do stock! 😂😂 I’m enjoying this series. PS; also, if you haven’t cut the water tank support bolts to size yet - I was thinking a skid plate under the plastic tank would be the ticket. You could use some scrap aluminum - it wouldn’t add to the weight and would give you some stone protection. Cheers. Dan
The pump looks like it has enough power you could tee off and add a sprayer for rinsing things off as well. I can't wait to see if it actually fits OUT of the shop.
SkyroofNova72 Hey, that’s a great idea! I’m gonna consider that. I also need to put an aerator on the faucet to save water. I measured the door on my shop before I mounted the tank, and it should fit. It doesn’t look like it, but the numbers work. It will be a cool video when I try to get it out! Goodness knows what I’m going to run into!
Nicely done! Your videos by far are the best I've seen on a teardrop build. Might I suggest that you consider a skid plate of some kind under the water tank so as to keep debris from puncturing the tank. Your bolts are plenty long enough and just a piece of sheet metal would do the trick.
Mark Voris Hey, thanks for the compliment! That means more than you know. I planned to cut the extra length of the bolts off and forgot to do it. I’m glad you reminded me! Hmmm, a skid plate would be a great idea. I have some scrap metal that would be perfect for that.
You make great videos and your teardrop us high quality. Do you have a video or website explaining how you built your walls and secured them to the trailer?
Kevin Bergquist Thank you! I don’t have a video of that step, but can tell you that on my next teardrop build, I’ll probably use 3/4” ply for the walls and floor, and join the two with Kreg pocket holes. Basically, the wall will set on the floor and the holes drilled along the bottom edge of the wall. Afterwards, I’ll probably screw a piece of 1/8” thick aluminum angle on the inside of the wall/floor joint.
The sink is a stainless steel salad bowl that I cut a hole in the bottom of and installed a drain. I don’t think the faucet is available any longer. I found it by typing “Green plastic faucet” in eBay.
It’s a tough item to find. I probably spent a week looking online when I bought mine. I think I got it either from eBay or Amazon. Although not exactly the same, here’s a link to a very similar one. I have quite a bit of ground clearance on this teardrop, so no issues yet. Also, the tank sets higher than the axle, so the axle would probably hit first.
Fantastic! It’s a great modification to your camper!
How do you only have 700 subscribers? You deserve 700k. Amazing videos.

Looks great. We love our running water in our teardrop.
Meandering Morningstars Hey, thanks! It was a bit of effort, but I’m glad I went with it.

Albany Coounty Fasteners May not be the cheapest, but I love their fasteners and service. Worth it imho.

RogMc Much appreciated!
Great job it looks good.
M105a2 DIY Camper Thank you!
You've got plenty of thread..just add a metal plate at the bottom of the tank!

Exactly what I needed! I'm doing this for my teardrop? Any issues with trailer sway with all that water at the back of the trailer?
None that I’ve noticed.
@@CampandCamera Where did you get the aluminum tray for the tank?
I made it from aluminum angle stock from Lowe’s.
Also, the long bolts came from “Albany County Fasteners.” I’ve ordered multiple hard-to-find hardware from them.
man love it...amazing! Any chance u can share link for the sink and the faucet please :)

@@CampandCamera thx man
Very helpful overview, thank you. Any suggestions about where to get the drain spigot? That is the only part of this I do not have.

Sweet! Did you have any issues with the 5 gallon tank getting damaged driving?
I have quite a bit of ground clearance on this teardrop, so no issues yet. Also, the tank sets higher than the axle, so the axle would probably hit first.
Great video glad to be a sub
