I agree with you about Blade, that movie is fire. Probably one of the best comic book movies of all time. It's going to make that upcoming PG13 Blade look stupid.
Yeah the rating is unfortunate. Also, seems like that movie is in some sort of production hell especially with the writer strike.

Yep… Disney-Marvel Blade will be lame compared to the originals.
Whenever Blade finally comes out, TOD 10 will plummet in value. It still has "value" because of pending Blade movie. I would have passed on the collection. My only interest would have been TOD 1, 10 and 13. I wouldn't want to have a bunch of filler books occupying space, taking months to offload. I say this with confidence because back in 2015, I purchased a high grade TOD 10 for $200. I had it graded and it came back an 8.5. My regret? I sold it 3 months before the SDCC movie announcement for $850. Ouch.

Finding a complete collection in uniform grade elevates it to another level. If you stumble upon something like that you are likely looking at original collection from possibly the original owner or his descendant. At that point the object becomes history and shall be valued and preserved as such.

I think 1100-1200 would possibly be the sweet spot from what you described imo still would have to see the books if spending that type of money 🤘🤘🤘
Awesome vid! I've had my copy of 10 for a number of years now, and I just recently lucked into a steal of a buy on 1 (a slabbed 9.2 that was way underpriced). Given that those are the two most significant keys in the title and that the whole run is only 70 issues, I've been considering going after the run. So many very cool covers in that title!

I got the Essential Tomb of Dracula vol 1-3 - reading the run in black and white is so satisfying - the artwork is amazing and it really shows in black and white...
Tomb of Dracula #1 is on my watch list, hoping to find an affordable one in a matching grade for my budget.

I'm not a big fan of horror stuff but if the run was complete then yes, I would have bought it. If it wasn't complete then no, because that money could be used to finish up some of my other runs.

What makes Tomb of Dracula #13 valuable is it's the Origin of Blade and he appears on the cover. The Deacon Frost cameo is a bonus....

Great books but i am just not a horror comic collector but i wouldn't mind having a Tomb of Dracula #1 and Eerie#1. I did finall get one kf my grails Amazing Spiderman#129 CGC 5.0 and now i kust gotta get my few other grails TMNT#1, X-Men#1,Hulk#181 and if i ever hit the lottery Amazing Fantasy#15 and Batman#1. What grade is your AMS#129 just wondering???

@@Stickygoose that's a great grade mine is a CGC 5.0 which I will try to upgrade one day once I get my other big books TMNT#1, X-Men#1 and Hulk#181 cause those are my favorite characters and I know these books will always hold there value so is there any grail books you are trying to get that you might be able to get cause the prices for some of these books are just crazy.
