Great stuff, my only issue is playing phoenix and dealing with megaflare. I always have 1 or 2 stray flares that hit me just because or I get hit while dodging..

LOL. Me too, literally why I found this video. It's the first and only boss I'm looking stuff up on to no damage, I've otherwise enjoyed learning every boss, but Bahamut is downright terrible.

Thanks! I also struggled with megaflare the most as phoenix. Tried to give up precision dodging all together for that part and started squirming around the screen.

@@tal-ezs4981 Yeah a few attempts later and I'm finding it more consistent to abandon dodges all together, even for other moves when possible considering it has 1 or 2 unreactable beams. Best to just not be at the same elevation. I don't know what they've done for megaflare, but using dodge with phoenix during it is self sabotage.

I found that out too, not dodging and just flying around the screen works well, but I'm still getting hit by random crap. This is so far the worst for no hit run and it's just the Phoenix part that's unreal.

@@standalone09 Yeah I completely agree. I'm finding myself less annoyed by playing the fight all the way through when I get hit, to stay fresh on the back half, I've got the decoration multiple times. (You only need to no hit fight 2 for it) I still want to no hit the fight the full way through, however.
Something that's starting to work for me more than not is to start in a top corner during megaflare, going horizontally first. It gives you more room and fewer situations where you get stuck changing directions in a corner, and it's there I generally do the dodges to pass through things that might be coming head on. It's DEFINITELY the worst no-hit move in the game.
Next run I get hit in, I'm going to try doing smaller circles around megaflare, circle bahamut instead of the screen itself. Try to 'limit' the movement of the projectiles. Will update if you're still interested, it's a bullshit fight for no damage for sure.

Is it easier in normal than in ng+ ff?

Watching your megaflares a little more, I think I might be cornering myself too much. You definitely need to circle of course, but I think going too far ends up hurting. Pain in the ass
