I'm incredibly excited about TT2, but I was a bit disappointed with how they reimagined it. I love the swing launch and spike concept, and the height of the spike is good for me. However, I expected a more powerful first launch, at least reaching speeds of 100 mph+. Currently, the trains will only reach around 200ft on the top hat, and I wish it could launch higher, around 375-400ft. Additionally, I don't like the lack of an airtime hill during the launch, as the ejector airtime is a highlight on rides like Pantheon and Toutatis. Despite these disappointments, I'm still looking forward to riding it in 2024 and hope they'll have a fantastic night theme too! 😁😁

I can't say exactly what happened as I don't work for Zamperla lol....but I have seen these types of mistakes happen. More than likely a web developer working for Zamperla had been working REALLY hard to get the website ready for today's announcement. The individual (s) most likely thought they were working in a UAT environment (so like a test website pretty much)...but instead were working on the actual live site. When they went to launch it in the UAT environment to see how everything would perform/get the glitches out....welp they launched it on the live Zamperla website. Doh!!
Capacity is a concern, but I'll take the longer ride time. It's a bit of a waste to me for such a coaster to only have a 17 second ride. Get more out of the track and height that you have, and more chance for the incredible views of the park.
Ya but you have to remember the amount of time the trains sat in the pre stage section. Plus the trains have 20 riders now. And there will be some over lap. The train will pop onto the track once the one before it goes over the top hat
LETS GOOOOOOO only thing is Top Thrill 2?? Don't you think they could've been waaay more creative like c'mon bruh ur a multi-BILLION dollar company and you name it Top Thrill 2 💀
Can anyone please tell me why the turn in to the loading zone appears to be getting a banked track based on the footings being poured. Plus CP mentions taking a victory lap, any chance that means some sort of spiral or something as it loops back in to the unload zone. Just asking
The Zamperla leak really didn’t give much away other than the spikes height and the ride name……because we pretty much had everything figured out as soon as those spike footers were poured months ago !
The speeds stay the same. If you don't go as high on the spike or tophat, then you will get a bigger boost in speed. Win either way. Most coasters start great then end "ok". Good coasters keep the pacing through out the ride. Elite coasters gradually get better as the ride goes on. That's why at a stand still 74 will seem just fine. 120mph gets you to 420ft 60mph gets you to 210ft so 74mph gets you to 259ft on the top hat 101mph on the vertical spike gets to 353ft. The new trains will be nothing short of great.
Boring, this will be a fun yet forgettable ride where once stood the most intense ride in the park. Don't even get me started on the name, its like they built it in Roller Coaster Tycoon and they have yet to change it to something unique.
You're a little too excited for a clearly mid coaster. It's TTD with a spike and a paint job. Not a real significant layout extention. No real records broken. Longer wait times. This was 100% a cop out on CP's end to bring their moneymaker back as CHEAP as possible. So much for CP being innovators of the industry smdh

Lsm launch is way more reliable than the hydraulic launches, less down time means more people gonna enjoy riding it. TTD had way to much down time.
