one very important mod is to radius the forward part of the trigger guard... that is the vertical piece set towards front end, and create relief on the inside portion of the guard.... where the tip of your finger touches... hits... that it is momentarily blocked if you need fast access to the trigger. it should be melted and relieved just a bit or more so your trigger finger, the fingernail, slips right by it without a sudden hangup ... albeit however brief that may be.. it is still one more second you lose when attempting to quickly find the trigger.
+djtelectrik It fluctuates depending on what I'm doing. Typically as I make my initial cuts I'll have it around mid range on my slider. As I do the finishing cuts I'll bump it up a couple and apply less pressure just to get a more even surface.
Awesome video.. I did my first one based on this video. Turned out pretty well.. Not as good as yours unfortunately but pretty decent. Thanks for the awesome video.
I have 35 years of experience shooting, I am a Glock Armorer, I don't see how undercutting the trigger is going to make that much of a difference in control. Maybe a little, but not much. I have never had a problem with my knuckle after shooting all day.
What piece are you using to polish?
