+Gorgi9999 I appreciate it! Hopefully in the near future I'll be doing another series with much better lighting so people can see better what it is I'm doing. Thanks for watching!
I’ve been following the series and plan on doing the same things to my 19 gen 3. What size and grit sanding drums and polishing bit are you using? Super helpful and awesome videos man, keep it up!
when your making the undercuts it doesn't matter(80 is my recommendation) exact drum size doesn't really matter either just big then small, then to finish it use 800 then 1200-1500 by hand
Is it the pink one that comes in the dremel kit? If so just used it worked pretty good but I had just painted it. Lol soooo it's covered in pain I'll have to buy a new one.
I'm holding my glock right now and am thinking if I dremeled the relief cut for my middle finger, it would hit my mag release. It already kind of does. Is that a problem for you?
With my Trump sized hands, my middle finger doesn't touch the mag release much. If I try I can definitely feel the mag release. That said, I've never once had my middle finger accidentally release my magazine. If you have longer fingers, it may be a possibility.
The easiest way to reach me is via facebook, but due to the ways the laws are in Oregon, I can't legally work on other people's guns. I'm looking into what licenses I would need in order to work on them, but I don't have a timeline for that right now. Thanks for the interest!
+extreme978 with how deep I went I'm not worried at all about it breaking although I've seen people who get it so thin that I'm afraid a strong breeze is going to break it.
I tried the same silicone carbide grinding stone you suggested in another video of this series but I still cant get close to that nice of a finish. any help? or suggestions? Thanks
When I was using the grinding stone, I had it on a higher speed and I was barely applying any pressure. It won't give you a perfect polish, but in my case it helped it look a lot better.
You can get a Polymer 80 frame. Those have a superior trigger guard design in my opinion. Plus with that you don't even have to worry about a transfer since you'll manufacture the frame yourself.
+Doc Hernandez It's actually one of their silicon carbide grinding stones. The part number should be 84922 and you can find them in just about any hardware store. Amazon also has them for less than $10. Thanks for watching!
Tired of seeing videos of people grinding and cutting glocks. I damn glock is a combat gun. Use it in compat and see if you have time to find a reference point. SMDH!
It looks pretty darn cool?somebody lied to you and it will look even better when you drop it and it breaks then you can make a video on how to repair that broke pos.
When polishing, do you use any polishing compound?
You have done a very nice job. Also a great demonstration for me to follow!!!! Undercutting the trigger guard and the reference point. THANK YOU!!!

Did you happen to use a polishing wheel to get the plastic to shine back up??
+usafsoc I actually used a grinding stone and it worked really well!
Thanks for watching!
I have a G19 full FDE. Would doing this expose black underneath or is the frame all this color Throughout? Thanks.
jonathan peres the frame is the same color inside as it is outside unless it was painted.
The last tool you used does that smooth it out? I just sanded down the guard on mine. I just wasn't sure in how to smooth out the parts I sanded.
+TheCONtwo that was a silicon carbide grinding stone. If you use one, you don't want to apply any pressure.
+TheCONtwo the silicon carbide is the blueish looking one.
OreGear okay thank you for the info. I'll scrub some paint off and hit it with that.
what tool is used to get the mirror smooth polish?
NeraskaPrepper70 I've been wanting to know that too haven't found out anywhere
Sand paper and patience. 400, 800, 1200 & 2000 grits consecutively on the 2 highest grit add a drop of light oil
89tripl34trouble28 I had to work mine down to 2000 grit sand paper

Keith Gee I have the same issue, that is why I haven't done this...
OreGear lmao. Melania Trump- my husband is small.... drops the mic
How can you be contacted for this customization on a Gen 4 Glock 19?

friend, I gotta ask, if you dropped it on a hard surface, do you think the trigger guard would break?
+extreme978 with how deep I went I'm not worried at all about it breaking although I've seen people who get it so thin that I'm afraid a strong breeze is going to break it.
Never

+OreGear thanks for the reply, ill try that
No problem!
Jake McDowell lenny Mcgill of the glockstore said to use a little wd40. its like wet sanding. makes it polish up a little better.
When you did the trigger guard undercut did it change the alignment of the finger grooves for you? Haven't dove into it yet cuz of this concern
I didn't notice any difference but I also didn't remove a ton of material.
OreGear nice. I'm torn on the finger grooves in the first place, on my gen 3 the checkered pattern is what bothers me first and foremost.
Looks real good.
+Daveyboy Thanks! I appreciate you watching!
I just can’t bring myself to do this mod. Don’t they have after market frames that have better trigger guards?

You have done a great job on that 19! Keep up the good work.
What polishing tips did you use? Name, type, and where can I buy them?
Thank you.

Thank you!
What part is this that you use to polish and finish?
+Guns BR it's one of the silicon carbide grinding stones. I used very little pressure while spinning it closer to the highest setting.
OreGear thank you!
+Guns BR no problem! Thanks for watching!
how deep did you go on the trigger guard cut??
I've seen people go pretty deep. I just decided to go about half the original depth of the trigger guard.
OreGear What part is this that you use to polish and finish?
Dremmel go BRRRR
looks good
+Dubglock23 Thank you!
Hack
Your cameras are way too close. Back up; we can still
see what you are doing.

And yet you click on videos of people doing just that...

I have literally never dropped a gun. Ever. And if i ever do in a life and death situation idgaf what happens to it.
