- This was the 300th performance of Waitress London so once the show had finished, Lucie Jones came back on stage and sang She Used To Be Mine again which we were allowed to film as it was being professionally recorded.
She was absolutely breathtaking.

You don’t get the role of Jenna in one of the more successful Broadway musicals in recent years without being able to sing the hell out of She Used to Be Mine... so kudos to all the women who have gotten to play a truly complex female lead! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

@@ChronicallyCassidy Sara is great. But coming from someone that has experienced something like that, Lucie's Jenna is the most truthful. She is the best on the role and the only one that really goes deep, and makes me feel reflected and cry. I've seen all different Jennas and didn't see myself in nor connected with anyone but her. And lots of people have felt the same too.
Some of Jenna’s life echoes mine. When I first heard this song on Spotify I stopped what I was doing and just listened. I then went to see Lucie perform and my heart stopped beating a second just before she started singing. “She is lonely, most of the time” made me weep. My sister held my hand in the theatre and I sobbed. This song .....

Haven’t seen waitress with Lucie yet but I once managed to meet her (I was in a youth production at a local theatre and she was in a different show rehursing at the same theatre) and I randomly bumped into her backstage (turns out she watched a bit from the wings) she is the nicest person ever!
honestly, so impressed with Lucie. Saw her a couple of weeks ago with zero expetations (because I'm a huge Mueller fan and didn't want to be disappointed!
Lucie was amazing. Truly. She made me cry like 3 times! We stage door'd for the hell of it (don't usually) and she came out and was nothing but kind and gracious too. She definitely has a new fan in me (and my friends)
