Just want to put a few of my thoughts out here: -I think more medium sized patches are a great idea compared to one mega patch every year or so. -Stamina bar scares me, but it could be great if done right. Please do it right. -Oddly enough one of my favorite parts of MP2 was the information bar when you hit F1. There’s not really a set of controls like that for new players and I think it will help bring more people towards it. Plus the art is amazing. That’s about it. Thanks guys, wish you the best.

To answer the most commonly addressed concern, stamina bar is not going to be as restrictive as in other games. This is the element that we will devote the most time to testing, to make sure it's not frustrating. We'll make sure server owners can disable this feature, if you guys don't like it
For the stamina meter, I feel it might be a decent idea to add an adrenaline mechanic for when an SCP first arrives (ie. the music) that has an invisible cool down, just to give them a better chance at getting away, but not every time, and possibly make more teamwork required between SCP's. Like give a couple seconds of max stamina or a speed boost, on a 2 minute cool down or something. Also, I like the idea of more, smaller updates. Makes things easier to take in, then just everything all at once, and will keep the game fresh.
yeah adrenaline so like first time you see an SCP you get a speed boost then a debuf and when you kill people you get an adrenaline boost and get like more resistance or speed boost or when SCP kill or see a target for too long they get a bloodlust and get some speed boost

@@verticalflyingb737 Actually, it would serve a great purpose for cover wise, sneaking when in the entrance zone offices or other places so you aren't just standing behind desks or so and not crouching behind it for cover and all, and mostly importantly.. T-bagging, and spam t-bagging to assert dominance. Most important feature as t-bagging is a need in every game so you can make those you killed rage as you t-bag their corpse.
I think maybe giving the MTF commander some of the same abilities as 079 would be interesting, and would add some depth to the role. For example: The Commander spawns with a terminal and a "super radio" which allows him to communicate to an individual, group, or the entire MTF, and has a lot of battery and unlimited range. The terminal allows him to monitor the positions of all his units via an interactive map, look through the security feed, disable tesla gates (permanently or temporarily), open locked doors, set groups (for example, he can assign a lieutenant to lead a team to complete a certain objective), etc. The ability to assign groups with specific objectives gives the Lieutenant (and in turn Cadet) role actual meaning. All of this will encourage MTF units to actually use their radios and communicate, if they so desire, which enhances the experience for those who wish for a more "roleplay"-like experience. The Commander can provide navigation, open doors, relay messages, etc. for the MTF units. For balance, perhaps the Commander's access operates in a similar fashion to 079: a certain ability can only be used if a certain switch within the facility is flipped, for example; or a "power level" system could be implemented as with 079. Of course, casual "lone wolf" players will still be able to play as they please, without any detriment to their own fun or the experience of others. And I trust that the updates will contain plenty of fixes, new models, and animations, yes? Characters have very stiff movements, some of the rooms don't fit the "new" style (for example, old SCP-CB rooms mixed with the original "new" SL rooms), etc. Love ya guys
Yeah bit also a good mechanic for the terminal would be that you can also use it portable,showing only the camera feed that you put,and if you want to change it you have to sit down,also that the terminal can be found on a armory pc and it works with keycards that give you different access so it wouldn't be op,putting a weapon manager in very fine on 914 gives you a terminal and a radio a super one
This is a absolutely fantastic idea! This I feel would add unique gameplay option especially if the MTF Commander doesn't spawn with the first wave of MTF and only on the second or third does he have a chance of spawning. The chance of the MTF Commander goes up the longer the game runs so it adds that feel of roleplay and usefulness when he does actually spawn. It might also be interesting if they upgrade his keycard so he can access the nuke control room but not the control panel as that requires 2 LVL 05 keycards to activate a non-stoppable nuke countdown(only one for a normal countdown). One spawns in entrance zone (after a specified amount of time has passed determined by server host/admin) and one randomly spawned in heavy containment. This way it requires a little more teamplay/strategy and gives the commander a late game role as he can unlock the room to get anyone inside to progress the game.
I feel like it should be like in the og game. They announce it over the intercom when the Tesla has been disabled and he needs to call it in to the “controller” of all the Tesla’s and gates ex..
could you guys consider replacing some of those red rooms and the collapsed room in the EZ with things like a cafeteria or a breakroom or a medbay i feel that it would add some atmosphere to the facility
@@CodLuke2427 nothing really. Just a sign to show you that there's a dead end in front of you. Some of them might be an entrance to a nuclear shelter tho but you can't open these gates yet.

Hugo I think they should a small tracking simulator to scp 096 from the people to had view there face since scp 096 always knows where the person who viewed its face is. This would be a good buff to 096 because people usually just hide from 096 and wait till his charge is out before coming out and shooting him on cool down, then rinse wash repeat. This could greatly make 096 more terrifying and deadly as it’s entry describes

I love what you guys are doing with the game. It's perhaps one of the most fun SCP experiences we have, especially when it comes to having multiple people to enjoy the fun with. This is one of those games that's fun with or without friends. That being said, I look forward to seeing the stamina bar implementation. I've believed this game has needed one for a while, and seeing y'all looking to add it makes me happy. Though looking at it from the bit in this video, I don't think that is restrictive enough, but that's personal opinion. Though it shouldn't be anywhere near as restrictive as Containment breach. More SCP items sounds like a fantastic idea. More stuff means more fun. Love it. Status effects sound fantastic and I shudder now at the thought of how deadly flashbangs will be in the future. Finally might see some use. I love it. More environmental hazards. Absolutely. This is a site experiencing multiple euclid and keter containment breaches. Shit should be hitting the fan as they say. Plus, give us some ways around them. Fire extinguishers for fires, a room to turn off tesla gates. Stuff like that. Y'all are awesome and I love the idea of smaller patches with less stuff but more spread out. I feel that large patches are awesome and change the experience dramatically and bring old players back. Smaller patches may keep people here longer and keep them interested over time. Just don't blow yourselves into oblivion trying to keep up with a schedule. Make sure you've got it good and when you're satisfied with it, then release it. Nobody likes when folks rush out stuff instead of taking the time to relax and put out good work. Not the players, and I highly doubt devs like being rushed either.
There’s a few questions I wanted to ask and some thoughts I wanted to share. Will the keycards textures be changed to fit the new name? (Ex. Senior Guard card -> Cadet card, Major Scientist -> Research Supervisor) I love the environmental hazards, I think they will add a lot of atmosphere and fun to the game. Thank you for working on a plug-in loader. The SMOD devs are completely useless.
We're an indie studio, so we are experimenting with new formats. The "megapatch" format was a response to small updates that we've been releasing in 2018, that included virtually no gameplay changes. It worked well in MP1 (which included SCP-079), but we've misjudged our possibilities in MP2, which resulted in a massive delay. MP3 wasn't completely canceled, just because we promised to rework the Surface Zone. Now, with this all experience, I think we've managed to find a good balance, which means we'll be releasing smaller patches, but still noticeably impactful.
Suggestion: The cola should make it so stamina gets consumed slower and I don't really know this will actually have but if you make it so people walk slowly can the hat invisibility last a little longer
4:03 If you look at the bottom where the SCPs are, you can see SCP-457 the walking fire dude thing and the burned status effect helps the proof more. I'd like to see how he would work.

And why not throw a few more ideas into the mix: -The jade ring: Less stamina, immunity to one hit from 049 on a 2 minute cooldown (maybe not since it just gives you a free run past 049 but nothing for anything else) -Maybe a way for SCPs to escape? but then again, why would they? -More overflow for everything to help on really big servers, i.e. allow for more facility guards and scientists to spawn, as well as a few overflow SCPs (Maybe 008 victims, maybe some beefed up special 049-2's, really any hostile scp is up for grabs here(excluding 966, they are invisible))
SCPs shouldn’t be able to escape, in my opinion, cause if they all escape, then it’s just a human vs human match, and that’s no fun. The jade ring should definitely be added, though. I’d love to have at least one way to counter SCP-049.
Are you gonna add a new feature that you will not have to drop things in scp 914 on floor but to hold it in hands ? (It will prevent from stealing key cards)

My Ideas for the new update: New Areas: Cafeteria, Medical Bay, Break Room, more Restrooms and Offices, Janitors Office including a closet in certain areas, Control Room, Shelter Area, Armory for the Security Department, Head Office and Site Director’s Personal Office. New Area Effects: Control Room has tv cameras that can look around like SCP-079, can turn on/off the Tesla Gate including double charging it, opening/locking doors/gates. Finally SCP-079 and anyone in the CR can fight over control for example SCP-079 can now turn the elevator off/on temporarily OR make it go back down or up to waste MTF/CI time or be killed by other SCPs. to where anyone in CR can help combat this and help whoever team their on. Yes I know this can be trolly Shelter Area is somewhat a heavy room with chairs, computers and a personal phone to call for help plus you find certain items over there as they’ll be safe from other SCPs besides 079, 096, 106 due to having a camera or if someone looked at 096 and 106 being able to walk through the gate. This is more of a lore friendly expansion for the environment. Cafeteria, Break Rooms and Janitors Office would have normal vending machines for your coins to replenish your health and finding keycards cards laying around BUT the cafeteria would have SCP-294. Again lore friendly expansion for the environment. I’m also thinking maybe Shelter Area could have the vending machines too including medkits but I’ll leave it up in the comments. Janitor closet can be used to hide from other SCPs as it can hold one or two people but be carful and hold your breathe because you don’t want anyone to hear you especially from SCP-939. Armory is of course has weapons, ammunition, medkits and other lethal weaponry art including attachments for weapons. Again for Medical Bay has medical supplies literally in the name. Head Office and Site Director Personal Office would have high level keycards SCP New Abilities mostly towards SCP-106 and 079: 079 would be able to control the elevator to be temporary turned off or on even making it go back down or up to either by time or meet their doom. 106 can create sink holes only 4 time with dependable radius. That’s my idea for the hope of the next update hope to hear feedback from you guys.
Personally if I could/knew how to, I'd give SCP-049 a small buff Giving him a 4 space inventory system (He can only use cards and a new item that would be pretty useful especially for hazards) item only accessible for 049: SCP-008 vile that if thrown releases a gas that covers a small space. Anyone that can be affected (everyone but chaos and scps cus chaos use gas masks) will be infected and if they die from too much exposure to the gas or "natural selection" will become a zombie. Just something I think would be pretty cool.
@@caimaccass6911 I think in lore (in before the rewrite) 049 uses SCP-008 as a part of the formula for his "cure" but I dunno. This game doesn't follow the accuracies of the game/gamemode it's based on.
That is not a small buff, and no, there is no reason to assume that 049 used 008 for the cure, 049-2 and 008 being related to zombies doesn't make them related, and the old 049 isn't cannon so the game not following the lore doesn't matter
As a recommendations for playable scps for mega patch three and forward I would say SCP 3199 that could would be the second weakest scp in front of SCP 049-2, but spawn in groups like scp 939, and have a “egg” mechanic in which each player can place a Egg anywhere in the facility with low health. If a scp 3199 dies, a player will spawn as 3199 from the egg. If the eggs is destroyed however, the scp is terminated for the round
They really need fire as an environmental hazard, imagine how cool it would be if they had Mobile Task Force “Fire Eaters” that could deploy and take out fires, maybe SCP-457 could also be an SCP that starts fires and can efficiently taken out by Fire Eater MTF squads.

I have an idea: To Test each new features, Northwood should make a server in which it will test the new features. People can experience it and give feedback on it.
What about: 1) Bunnyhopping SCP:SL is a role play game. Jumping every sec looks unnaturally. It would be perfect at least to make server's option for limits. 2) Inaccessible places for SCPs (Example 6:24)? There are many such places. Shelves, SCP-106's chamber (Magnetic chamber), some walls, etc.
@scrto1869 It's my footage :) It's been recorded a few days after the MP2 release on a "no-KOS rule" server (a rule where MTF are advised to disarm Class-D if possible). Apparently the MTF didn't realize how the MicroHID works (nobody really did at the time). Oh, and by the way, I use GeForce's "Instant Replay" feature to quickly save my last 15 minutes of gameplay if I have any good plays.
Are you going to make it so server owners can enable parkour spots? That annoyed a lot of people on the server I play on What feature will be in the plugin manager? Custom rooms? Custom items/weapons? Custom models? or just similar to the old one Room sizes sound good but will all rooms be affected by it (106 and other SCP rooms) People's bodies and items falling into the ground in 106's pocket dimension

Judging by the "Burned" status effect, I'm assuming SCP-457 ("The Burning Man") will be added to the game. Unless I'm just being too hopeful and it will only be used for the grenades (or additional environmental hazards), since they have a fire-like explosion.
It looks to me like you might be right on the money that he will be added, but probably not until/after MP3. If you look at the bottom at 4:05 you can see he already has a model in the works.
Do you guys plan on adding leaning to the game? Apart from making evading enemies much easier it also adds to the creep factor of checking a corner hoping there's nothing there, as appose to running head first and hoping for the best
I have a idea for a new scp item. SCP-127 (The Living Gun) SCP-127 contains human teeth as ammunition it takes 3-5 days for 127 teeth to regrow, but for the game 127 would take about 2 min to regrow back its ammunition, containing 30 teeth as full ammunition.
i love this game and i love you guys and how you guys arent making this for profit but just because you want to give us an amazing scp game that is multiplayer
Idea for sinkholes, have them act like 106 holes that you can fall into, and make the effects that currently exist only happen on the outer layer, so it can be used as a escape, but at a gamble, or work as intended.
I think both small and big updates are good ideas, small ones to give the 'die hard play it everyday' and the 'weekly' players content, and occasional Megapatches that draw in the new and the old players to come play something that feels new and great. Either way, I love the work you guys are doing; its incredible.
Some things I would like to point at: -I would like to see something like map on wall of zone where you are. -Also I dont like how decontamination doesnt start during warhead. Its pretty annoying when you finally trapped SCPs in LCZ few seconds before decon, but then you realise they are coming because of warhead.. -Thing I saw in some games is function that makes GPU render only area where are you looking, which could help low-end PCs play SL. I think there should be a revenge mechanic. Something like a fight or flight. For example if you see and SCP kill 3 or more people you get a temporary speed boost or stamina boost (But not for long). Or if an a chaos insurgent kills a MTF you get a slight resistance to bullets. Maybe even a mechanic that if you’re an SCP and barely getting any kills you get a slight buff to help you out which goes away when you kill people. Just a few ideas!
Should add the Gender Switching rock and after about one minute it puts a female voicepack on your character so whenever you get shot you screech in a female voice.
Hey, I think this game is creative, fun and amazing, but I think it has some unpolished think, especially the animations, I would like a little patch where you would just polish and make more animations (I really hate how when you jump your character stays still in the air), besides that this game is genius
Ooh, new SCP models and sounds would be really nice. The CB ones are nice and all, but with technology's advancement, there's definitely room for improvement. Of course, that's quite the task, so no rush. We're fine to wait for quality. For reworks, I don't know what you guys have in store for most of them, but I'd like to see some more options for 079. The ability to disable tesla gates, change access levels on doors, and perhaps start and stop the warhead timer at tier 5. Also, after that surface rework, perhaps we could see the Alpha and Omega warheads both available - one destroys the underground, and the other destroys the surface. Nobody (or maybe the CI) wins if they both detonate.
That's great stuff! I have however one suggestion to make to the gameplay: in SCP:CB, when you're close to a door, you have that hand icon on the screen that allows you to trigger the door, even from behind you. Would it be possible to implement this feature in SCP:SL too? There would be so much less struggle to operate the doors.
It would be very nice if there were more escaper“classes“ like Janitor, Foundation Personal, Doctor... and more Scps like 066, 610, 035.... and more Weapons like Pumpguns, AK-47, Deagle... and more Assault Teames like other MTF Units, UIU/FBI, CIA,... and (very important) Serpents Hand!! There should be also more Assaulter Classes like Medic, Juggernaut, Riot Shield....

Hello from Russia! I would like to add a sitting on CTRL for all classes of people and for some SCP objects. This could be used for some mechanics: Ventilation? A way to hide from objects SCP 079 and SCP 173. You can also use the sit-down mechanics for a more inconspicuous New locations? A place where smoke breaks through and you need to wear a gas mask to pass through it, And when you try to go through without a gas mask HP wasted; the storage area in which SCP 939 objects would be spawned and you could find O5 Advisor's hand to open new doors;Unfinished rooms in which, with a certain amount of people, the floor would break; Open the Scientists' rooms at the level where the gates B and A are?New items: Gas mask for a room with smoke; O5 Advisor's hand to open new doors; New type of machine gun? New types of doors that can only be used with the hand of a certain Class. Class D cannot open such doors without the help of other people unless they find O5's hand, And rebels with a random chance can open them using RHD *?New models for SCP 049-049.2 and SCP 096; for example, I’ll take SCP 049.2 could be made so that they look like the class they were created from: SCP 049 Kills the D class and would look like a D class when objecting zombies? New walking animations : To let the weapon drop a little while walking; Run: hands lower the weapon; Animation of how the Doctor "Heals" patients? Can you do this like how a foundation scientist would? Then leave the funny bits to Dr. Bright? Or make data logs about new scps being transferred to new sites for better containment or notes about new anomalies appearing in the facility. Also it would be nice to see the actual data entries for the scps scattered throughout the map at random. This can help new players find their weaknesses and possible open up ways for recontainment for all scps and foreshadow new ones that will be coming in future releases.
Honestly i'm fine with just adding the small things, like pressing F1, Making Commander and Guard cards have their own colours, please do more of that Northwood!
I think much better way is make this game open source. Original dev don't loose anything. In year I think community make normal Linux version, make some really cool and good-balanced mods. With help of community MP3 maybe can be released in 2020
SCP-1162 would be perfect for Secret Lab. The hole in the wall that gives you a rare item but takes something out of your inventory at the same time. Just make it hard to find in an obscure place. It also kills you if your inventory is empty.
I have an idea for the doorman, 303 I think right? It can be activated during a chase by random and if the one being chased opens the door with the doorman behind it, they’ll enter a panic state and have blurry vision. Their sprint would be a lot slower as well allowing SCPs to catch up. This was just my idea and I don’t expect it to get in the game considering it would probably be an A.I SCP but say it would be a player it could basically have the same interface as 079.
I would like to see: A return of the old energy weapons from the earliest patches When D-bois or Chaos kill an SCP, it should just say “contained by unknown”, saying Chaos did it ruins the immersion for me. When the bottom level is locked down, it becomes impossible to find black cards to activate the nuke or unlock many doors. Any work around? The damn zombie t-posing fixed! Would like to see some kind of counter to nuke room camping. Maybe the nuke can be activated from a third room? I love this game & I hope to play it for many years to come.
I have several ideas for the game and they are these: 1: Eliminate the class "Lieutenant" as it is not necessary, it would be fine with only cadets and commanders 2: Eliminate the Guards and instead put MTF Cadets and MTF Commanders for the players who have to be a guard do not feel less than the MTF, equally the guards are the same as the MTF and the uzi (The weapon of the Guards) becomes a secondary weapon found in the armories and when they appear, the MTF Cadets have a 50% probability that the P90 will come out and a 50% chance that the E-11 Rifle will come out ( F for which P90 comes out) and finally that the card of guards and superior guards no longer exits and that they invent a key card called "Cadet" that has the same level of access as the lieutenant's key card 3: That the CI have Commanders 4: That the SCPs are stronger
But if there is a stamina you can not escape a chase if you are even able to regenerate fast enough you would have to close a door on them then walk for the short time that you can go regenerate it but then they open the door and you have to run to the next door and have to do it again and you will never have enough stamina to get away

I think maybe giving the MTF commander some of the same abilities as 079 would be interesting, and would add some depth to the role.
For example: The Commander spawns with a terminal and a "super radio" which allows him to communicate to an individual, group, or the entire MTF, and has a lot of battery and unlimited range. The terminal allows him to monitor the positions of all his units via an interactive map, look through the security feed, disable tesla gates (permanently or temporarily), open locked doors, set groups (for example, he can assign a lieutenant to lead a team to complete a certain objective), etc. The ability to assign groups with specific objectives gives the Lieutenant (and in turn Cadet) role actual meaning. All of this will encourage MTF units to actually use their radios and communicate, if they so desire, which enhances the experience for those who wish for a more "roleplay"-like experience. The Commander can provide navigation, open doors, relay messages, etc. for the MTF units. For balance, perhaps the Commander's access operates in a similar fashion to 079: a certain ability can only be used if a certain switch within the facility is flipped, for example; or a "power level" system could be implemented as with 079.
Of course, casual "lone wolf" players will still be able to play as they please, without any detriment to their own fun or the experience of others.
And I trust that the updates will contain plenty of fixes, new models, and animations, yes?
Characters have very stiff movements, some of the rooms don't fit the "new" style (for example, old SCP-CB rooms mixed with the original "new" SL rooms), etc.

Yeah bit also a good mechanic for the terminal would be that you can also use it portable,showing only the camera feed that you put,and if you want to change it you have to sit down,also that the terminal can be found on a armory pc and it works with keycards that give you different access so it wouldn't be op,putting a weapon manager in very fine on 914 gives you a terminal and a radio a super one
This is a absolutely fantastic idea! This I feel would add unique gameplay option especially if the MTF Commander doesn't spawn with the first wave of MTF and only on the second or third does he have a chance of spawning. The chance of the MTF Commander goes up the longer the game runs so it adds that feel of roleplay and usefulness when he does actually spawn. It might also be interesting if they upgrade his keycard so he can access the nuke control room but not the control panel as that requires 2 LVL 05 keycards to activate a non-stoppable nuke countdown(only one for a normal countdown). One spawns in entrance zone (after a specified amount of time has passed determined by server host/admin) and one randomly spawned in heavy containment. This way it requires a little more teamplay/strategy and gives the commander a late game role as he can unlock the room to get anyone inside to progress the game.

Hugo I think they should a small tracking simulator to scp 096 from the people to had view there face since scp 096 always knows where the person who viewed its face is. This would be a good buff to 096 because people usually just hide from 096 and wait till his charge is out before coming out and shooting him on cool down, then rinse wash repeat. This could greatly make 096 more terrifying and deadly as it’s entry describes

I love what you guys are doing with the game. It's perhaps one of the most fun SCP experiences we have, especially when it comes to having multiple people to enjoy the fun with. This is one of those games that's fun with or without friends.
That being said, I look forward to seeing the stamina bar implementation. I've believed this game has needed one for a while, and seeing y'all looking to add it makes me happy. Though looking at it from the bit in this video, I don't think that is restrictive enough, but that's personal opinion. Though it shouldn't be anywhere near as restrictive as Containment breach.
More SCP items sounds like a fantastic idea. More stuff means more fun. Love it.
Status effects sound fantastic and I shudder now at the thought of how deadly flashbangs will be in the future. Finally might see some use. I love it.
More environmental hazards. Absolutely. This is a site experiencing multiple euclid and keter containment breaches. Shit should be hitting the fan as they say. Plus, give us some ways around them. Fire extinguishers for fires, a room to turn off tesla gates. Stuff like that.
Y'all are awesome and I love the idea of smaller patches with less stuff but more spread out. I feel that large patches are awesome and change the experience dramatically and bring old players back. Smaller patches may keep people here longer and keep them interested over time. Just don't blow yourselves into oblivion trying to keep up with a schedule. Make sure you've got it good and when you're satisfied with it, then release it. Nobody likes when folks rush out stuff instead of taking the time to relax and put out good work. Not the players, and I highly doubt devs like being rushed either.

We're an indie studio, so we are experimenting with new formats. The "megapatch" format was a response to small updates that we've been releasing in 2018, that included virtually no gameplay changes. It worked well in MP1 (which included SCP-079), but we've misjudged our possibilities in MP2, which resulted in a massive delay. MP3 wasn't completely canceled, just because we promised to rework the Surface Zone.
Now, with this all experience, I think we've managed to find a good balance, which means we'll be releasing smaller patches, but still noticeably impactful.
Suggestion: The cola should make it so stamina gets consumed slower and I don't really know this will actually have but if you make it so people walk slowly can the hat invisibility last a little longer
Colas and adrenaline shots will keep stamina full.

When you add the stamina meter, maybe you could also add the gas mask to boost stamina recharge or make stamina drain slower?
And why not throw a few more ideas into the mix:
-The jade ring: Less stamina, immunity to one hit from 049 on a 2 minute cooldown (maybe not since it just gives you a free run past 049 but nothing for anything else)
-Maybe a way for SCPs to escape? but then again, why would they?
-More overflow for everything to help on really big servers, i.e. allow for more facility guards and scientists to spawn, as well as a few overflow SCPs (Maybe 008 victims, maybe some beefed up special 049-2's, really any hostile scp is up for grabs here(excluding 966, they are invisible))
SCPs shouldn’t be able to escape, in my opinion, cause if they all escape, then it’s just a human vs human match, and that’s no fun. The jade ring should definitely be added, though. I’d love to have at least one way to counter SCP-049.

My Ideas for the new update:
New Areas: Cafeteria, Medical Bay, Break Room, more Restrooms and Offices, Janitors Office including a closet in certain areas, Control Room, Shelter Area, Armory for the Security Department, Head Office and Site Director’s Personal Office.
New Area Effects:
Control Room has tv cameras that can look around like SCP-079, can turn on/off the Tesla Gate including double charging it, opening/locking doors/gates. Finally SCP-079 and anyone in the CR can fight over control for example SCP-079 can now turn the elevator off/on temporarily OR make it go back down or up to waste MTF/CI time or be killed by other SCPs. to where anyone in CR can help combat this and help whoever team their on. Yes I know this can be trolly
Shelter Area is somewhat a heavy room with chairs, computers and a personal phone to call for help plus you find certain items over there as they’ll be safe from other SCPs besides 079, 096, 106 due to having a camera or if someone looked at 096 and 106 being able to walk through the gate. This is more of a lore friendly expansion for the environment.
Cafeteria, Break Rooms and Janitors Office would have normal vending machines for your coins to replenish your health and finding keycards cards laying around BUT the cafeteria would have SCP-294. Again lore friendly expansion for the environment. I’m also thinking maybe Shelter Area could have the vending machines too including medkits but I’ll leave it up in the comments.
Janitor closet can be used to hide from other SCPs as it can hold one or two people but be carful and hold your breathe because you don’t want anyone to hear you especially from SCP-939.
Armory is of course has weapons, ammunition, medkits and other lethal weaponry art including attachments for weapons. Again for Medical Bay has medical supplies literally in the name.
Head Office and Site Director Personal Office would have high level keycards
SCP New Abilities mostly towards SCP-106 and 079: 079 would be able to control the elevator to be temporary turned off or on even making it go back down or up to either by time or meet their doom. 106 can create sink holes only 4 time with dependable radius.

As a recommendations for playable scps for mega patch three and forward I would say SCP 3199 that could would be the second weakest scp in front of SCP 049-2, but spawn in groups like scp 939, and have a “egg” mechanic in which each player can place a Egg anywhere in the facility with low health. If a scp 3199 dies, a player will spawn as 3199 from the egg. If the eggs is destroyed however, the scp is terminated for the round
They really need fire as an environmental hazard, imagine how cool it would be if they had Mobile Task Force “Fire Eaters” that could deploy and take out fires, maybe SCP-457 could also be an SCP that starts fires and can efficiently taken out by Fire Eater MTF squads.

@scrto1869 It's my footage :) It's been recorded a few days after the MP2 release on a "no-KOS rule" server (a rule where MTF are advised to disarm Class-D if possible). Apparently the MTF didn't realize how the MicroHID works (nobody really did at the time).
Oh, and by the way, I use GeForce's "Instant Replay" feature to quickly save my last 15 minutes of gameplay if I have any good plays.

Judging by the "Burned" status effect, I'm assuming SCP-457 ("The Burning Man") will be added to the game. Unless I'm just being too hopeful and it will only be used for the grenades (or additional environmental hazards), since they have a fire-like explosion.
It looks to me like you might be right on the money that he will be added, but probably not until/after MP3. If you look at the bottom at 4:05 you can see he already has a model in the works.
PLEASE make the stamina bar decrease considerably when jumping. In my opinion, removing the bunnyhop would give the game a little more immersion.

I have a idea for a new scp item. SCP-127 (The Living Gun) SCP-127 contains human teeth as ammunition it takes 3-5 days for 127 teeth to regrow, but for the game 127 would take about 2 min to regrow back its ammunition, containing 30 teeth as full ammunition.

Idea for sinkholes, have them act like 106 holes that you can fall into, and make the effects that currently exist only happen on the outer layer, so it can be used as a escape, but at a gamble, or work as intended.

I think both small and big updates are good ideas, small ones to give the 'die hard play it everyday' and the 'weekly' players content, and occasional Megapatches that draw in the new and the old players to come play something that feels new and great. Either way, I love the work you guys are doing; its incredible.

-I would like to see something like map on wall of zone where you are.
-Also I dont like how decontamination doesnt start during warhead. Its pretty annoying when you finally trapped SCPs in LCZ few seconds before decon, but then you realise they are coming because of warhead..
-Thing I saw in some games is function that makes GPU render only area where are you looking, which could help low-end PCs play SL.

I think there should be a revenge mechanic. Something like a fight or flight. For example if you see and SCP kill 3 or more people you get a temporary speed boost or stamina boost (But not for long). Or if an a chaos insurgent kills a MTF you get a slight resistance to bullets.
Maybe even a mechanic that if you’re an SCP and barely getting any kills you get a slight buff to help you out which goes away when you kill people.
Just a few ideas!
Should add the Gender Switching rock and after about one minute it puts a female voicepack on your character so whenever you get shot you screech in a female voice.
I cant imagine how much hilarity would insue if there were female scientist and dboi models.

Ooh, new SCP models and sounds would be really nice. The CB ones are nice and all, but with technology's advancement, there's definitely room for improvement. Of course, that's quite the task, so no rush. We're fine to wait for quality.
For reworks, I don't know what you guys have in store for most of them, but I'd like to see some more options for 079. The ability to disable tesla gates, change access levels on doors, and perhaps start and stop the warhead timer at tier 5.
Also, after that surface rework, perhaps we could see the Alpha and Omega warheads both available - one destroys the underground, and the other destroys the surface. Nobody (or maybe the CI) wins if they both detonate.
That's great stuff! I have however one suggestion to make to the gameplay: in SCP:CB, when you're close to a door, you have that hand icon on the screen that allows you to trigger the door, even from behind you. Would it be possible to implement this feature in SCP:SL too? There would be so much less struggle to operate the doors.
It would be very nice if there were more escaper“classes“ like Janitor, Foundation Personal, Doctor... and more Scps like 066, 610, 035.... and more Weapons like Pumpguns, AK-47, Deagle... and more Assault Teames like other MTF Units, UIU/FBI, CIA,... and (very important) Serpents Hand!! There should be also more Assaulter Classes like Medic, Juggernaut, Riot Shield....
maybe a gun rework/mtf rework that would add new classes and guns also i like the idea of support scps like 079

Hello from Russia! I would like to add a sitting on CTRL for all classes of people and for some SCP objects. This could be used for some mechanics: Ventilation? A way to hide from objects SCP 079 and SCP 173. You can also use the sit-down mechanics for a more inconspicuous New locations? A place where smoke breaks through and you need to wear a gas mask to pass through it, And when you try to go through without a gas mask HP wasted; the storage area in which SCP 939 objects would be spawned and you could find O5 Advisor's hand to open new doors;Unfinished rooms in which, with a certain amount of people, the floor would break; Open the Scientists' rooms at the level where the gates B and A are?New items: Gas mask for a room with smoke; O5 Advisor's hand to open new doors; New type of machine gun? New types of doors that can only be used with the hand of a certain Class. Can you do this like how a foundation scientist would? Then leave the funny bits to Dr. Bright? Or make data logs about new scps being transferred to new sites for better containment or notes about new anomalies appearing in the facility. Also it would be nice to see the actual data entries for the scps scattered throughout the map at random. This can help new players find their weaknesses and possible open up ways for recontainment for all scps and foreshadow new ones that will be coming in future releases.
I hope we get some improved first person models for the hands. They aren’t too bad but I’d like them to look a little more natural.
Honestly i'm fine with just adding the small things, like pressing F1, Making Commander and Guard cards have their own colours, please do more of that Northwood!

I think much better way is make this game open source. Original dev don't loose anything. In year I think community make normal Linux version, make some really cool and good-balanced mods. With help of community MP3 maybe can be released in 2020
SCP-1162 would be perfect for Secret Lab. The hole in the wall that gives you a rare item but takes something out of your inventory at the same time. Just make it hard to find in an obscure place.
It also kills you if your inventory is empty.

For the stamina bar I would say make it only affect the jump if you stop running during a chase your dead
I have an idea for the doorman, 303 I think right? It can be activated during a chase by random and if the one being chased opens the door with the doorman behind it, they’ll enter a panic state and have blurry vision. Their sprint would be a lot slower as well allowing SCPs to catch up. This was just my idea and I don’t expect it to get in the game considering it would probably be an A.I SCP but say it would be a player it could basically have the same interface as 079.
I would like to see:
A return of the old energy weapons from the earliest patches
When D-bois or Chaos kill an SCP, it should just say “contained by unknown”, saying Chaos did it ruins the immersion for me.
When the bottom level is locked down, it becomes impossible to find black cards to activate the nuke or unlock many doors. Any work around?

Would like to see some kind of counter to nuke room camping. Maybe the nuke can be activated from a third room?
I love this game & I hope to play it for many years to come.
I have several ideas for the game and they are these:
1: Eliminate the class "Lieutenant" as it is not necessary, it would be fine with only cadets and commanders
2: Eliminate the Guards and instead put MTF Cadets and MTF Commanders for the players who have to be a guard do not feel less than the MTF, equally the guards are the same as the MTF and the uzi (The weapon of the Guards) becomes a secondary weapon found in the armories and when they appear, the MTF Cadets have a 50% probability that the P90 will come out and a 50% chance that the E-11 Rifle will come out ( F for which P90 comes out) and finally that the card of guards and superior guards no longer exits and that they invent a key card called "Cadet" that has the same level of access as the lieutenant's key card
3: That the CI have Commanders
4: That the SCPs are stronger
But if there is a stamina you can not escape a chase if you are even able to regenerate fast enough you would have to close a door on them then walk for the short time that you can go regenerate it but then they open the door and you have to run to the next door and have to do it again and you will never have enough stamina to get away
