    I sure appreciate your clear, gentle explanations and simple approach! You've helped me to learn some things today that I will try with my own almost-rootless orchid. Thank you

    I am glad I found your videos. I'm a big fan of water culture for orchids and succulents. However, one of my phals is struggling. Your video shows there is hope. PS, I could barely hear you in the update video.

      ML Chelskie thanks! They're both healthy now, but the Cattleya actually had fusarium. It had it when I bought it and so I had to get rid of it. It almost died anyway.

    Nicely done!. How much Time pass to make new roots?

    • @adamfromgardenofeden
      @adamfromgardenofeden  3 года назад +2

      I’d say 2-3 weeks to see some roots sprout and another 3 weeks until the roots are long enough to pot up ☺️🌺

    I recently saw a video where the person put the leave tips on water, (upside down) and after few months, the leaves perked up.

    Wat temperature is it there for them and do they get lots of light pls?

    • @adamfromgardenofeden
      @adamfromgardenofeden  2 года назад

      They’re in average room temperature…21-23 Celsius and they do like lots of bright light all day

      Ligia I've tried every method of saving it, so I think it is a great idea to let it rest and decide when it wants to bounce back. Thanks for the suggestion! 🌺🌿👍🏽

    I tried doing this after watching this video with my orchid with no roots, but it’s been just over a month now and I still haven’t gotten any new sprouts coming from it. I’ve been watering the leaves every day but still no results. Did you change the water constantly? Any other recommendations?

    • @adamfromgardenofeden
      @adamfromgardenofeden  3 года назад

      I change the water once a week. Also, make sure to just lightly spray the leaves and not water them! If you haven’t seen roots sprout as yet, you could try rooting it in sphagnum moss! When an orchid doesn’t take to water culture I usually attempt rooting in moss :)

      @@adamfromgardenofeden do you use “live” sphagnum moss? If not why not or why yes? Thanks, I’m a newbie and you are so informative.
