Rewinding Fender Rhodes pickups.

Most of these pickups corrode at the inside wind right at the terminal. . If you see green around the terminal that's what it is. The rest of the wire is fine. When these pianos became unpopular most people store them in a cold damp garage. I am rewinding 70 of the -73 pickups on this piano.

Hi, how much turn for the coil? ..... And what AWG''s size number? I have mark 2 in sad condition. Thanks

I have not wounded any from new wire yet. I've only wound from an old bobbin. But from what I read on the web is 2800 to 2900 winds. 37awg. Should be about 185 ohms. All my magnets are North. I am also going to try and re-magnetize my magnets before I put it all back together. I am just waiting on my new wire to show up.
