Common mistake on the M60E4, M240B, and even the M249 in Portal: they don't open from the rear and instead uses the same way the LCMG opens. Overall I'd say DICE nailed the weapon models compared to other shooters that often have to butcher them. Looking at you Cronen Squall, Tempus Razorback, and TAQ Evolvere. They even managed to include the key part of a grenade: the lever pin that pops off when a grenade is thrown.
I'm feel disappointed that they'll not support the game after this season onwards, although they fix AKS-74U animation but the rest is stiff and goofy ahh.
AK74U's animations are just as bad/mediocre as the rest. It's just that before they "fixed" it, it was just laughably bad, now it's just on par with other animations which is just acceptable.

Feels like those guns go slowly just stiffer and stiffer animations or just worst... And i can clearly hear some sounds are also teken from "past" titles and re-used in a 2042 own guns as well.. Even Casings dosen't have "holes" xd

I've noticed some inconsistency with how iron sights are rendered. Some of the rear sights are out of focus, which makes them easier to use, while others don't have any of the focus rendering going on, making the sights more messy. Odd.

You see most guns in battlefield 2042 or even BFV shares a same file for whatever caliber its used , its only different in characteristics (either mechanics or tail layers) . So i wouldn't say its different

I'm not exactly sure what it is, but something about these animations is really bad. The hand/gun movement looks super clunky or choppy and unnatural, not sure how to explain it but it almost looks what I would call it "cringy", similar to CoD Cold War reloads. I know for a fact that MW2019 just completely killed it with animations and probably made an unrealistically high standard for most of the FPS industry which is why these animations might seem worse to me than they actually are cause of MW2019 but I swear that BFV had better reloads than 2042.
