    You do a LOT of prep before each video! I think that if I were to do that much prep, I could actually make it look as good (almost) as yours. I tend to take too many short cuts! You really are a fantastic teacher💞

      Cathy, please forgive me for the comment I made to another sub about winning happy mail and never receiving it 😔 I guess that I didn't put the right subject in the subject line. I'm 60 years old and not a big emailer. I struggle with every one I send. Even though I tried twice to get you my address, you didn't see it because I sent it incorrectly and my email was messing up at the time and things weren't going out like they should. It was my mistake, I'm sure.
      When you made a comment, a very nice one, about people thinking badly of you, I was ashamed. I think you're a wonderful person, a hard worker, and so very talented! I'm sorry I made ANYONE think otherwise!😢

    I love making these. I like to use the aida or evenweave linen and combine a bit of fancy embroidery stitches, laces and scrappies. So much fun to do.

    I love snippet rolls! I use 2 1/2 inch ribbon for my base, and I glue some bits and slow stitch others. The longest process is gathering all the bits and pieces. I use fabric scraps, lace odds and ends, hem tape, sari silk, you name it. And I add buttons, lightbulb pins with charms and beads, tiny silk flowers, fabric clusters, and slow stitching to embellish it. I haven’t cut them up. I roll them up, tie them with sari silk or ribbon, and give them as gifts. I’m looking forward to seeing how yours comes out!

    I have never made a snippet roll for the exact same reason! I wouldn’t know what to do with it apart from using as a page side tuck or belly band! So looking forward to seeing how you use it Cathy! I really love the idea of making one in 1 colour rather than multi coloured….. they are so pretty! Ty Cathy…. ❤

    How do incorporate these rolls into your journals?

    • @CathysGardenllc
      @CathysGardenllc  Месяц назад

      I have a couple of videos about that . But you’re able to cut them and use them to decorate a page, ephemera… etc.
