As a UK lure angler, can I just say thank you for the best angling video I've ever seen. The top water action had me drooling, with fantastic footage. I've been lucky enough to snorkel with some big GTs, but to see them go after your lures is something else. Thanks again for sharing.

I must concur. Exceptional footage. As someone who lives in the Caribbean I can appreciate that crystal clear water but we don't get GT anywhere close to that. Spectacular.

I’m having a blast watching this - this is how my husband are when fishing together. He actually doesn’t fish well … at all lol but he’s a huge support and helps when I need him LOL

We use a Panasonic GH5 but honestly we would like to update our cameras to the Sony but the GH5s are still great, we run GoPros and a DJI drone. Lots of batteries and they are always on charge on the boat 🤣

Hi from the USA Will and Mary. I need your help, IF you can. I am considering spending a year in OZ fishing the GBR. There is a LOT of it. I expect to trailer a boat so I can see different areas and take advantage of weather and fish movement opportunities. So, I need to select a base of operations somewhere between Yeppoon and Port Douglas. Due to distance from shore to main reef, I expect that just dividing the distance by half an selecting the Arlie Beach / Bowen area might not be the wisest choice. I am asking where you might suggest that I focus my search for suitable housing central to where I might find the best reef experiences for the least work for my year in Oz. You should know that I am 75 years old. I expect to fish about half the time and travel the other half, letting weather conditions determine when I will be an angler and when I will be a tourist. I know you are careful not to share too much info about where you two fish. I think that is a good policy and I am not asking for your locale. Gday Steve. The reef is a very long ways from where we are and trips are usually far between each other, which can even write off day trips sometimes !! In a perfect world we would say some where between Airlie Beach and cook town just north of Townsville at Lucinda ! You’d have access to Hinchinbrook island and also he reef !! Amazing barramundi & Mangrove Jack fishing on days when you can get out wide to the reef - which can be 3 months sometimes due to weather ! That’s our thoughts and possible retirement plan for later on. Hope this helps. Will and Mary

It's a pity that you have to use a lip grip. There is always a risk of a broken jaw if the fish moves unexpectedly.
