His goal isn't to stop immigration. It is to use immigration to leave to leave institutions such as the EU and EU court of human rights. He knows full well that decisions made by the EU court of human rights under section 2 can must be considered but are not legally binding and prior to Brexit the UK border with France was in Calais so any asylum seeker that illegally crosses the channel could be deported there and held in France. Once Brexit happened the border shifted back to the channel.
@@lordnoodle2146 You are mistaken, Brexit and leaving the EU has nothing to do with leaving the ECHR. The ECHR is a completely different entity to the European Union
@@Superfandangoo I will admit I should have referred to EHCR instead of the slang name. I wasn't trying to imply the EHCR is the same thing as the EU. I also noted that under the section 2 of the EHCR, that proposals are to be considered but not legally binding. But if we ignore all of the above lets look at it rationally. If left the EHCR. What would change? Where can we deport them too? We can already remove asylum seekers who have their claim rejected back to their home country. We can't deport to a third culture without permission so sending them back to France without French co operation is no go. The only thing it would accomplish is it would allow the government to rewrite the humans rights act to how they see fit.

As a Canadian of British decent I must say this is not a good argument. People have invaded and taken land throughout history. The British included. "It's not fair to indigenous people" has been said to the British more often than by the British. The fact is a country, land or a culture will only survive if you can defend it from others. That's the way of the world. You will not justify your way out of this invasion. You will either overcome and maintain control or Britain will be lost to history. I hope you will be able to preserve your country and culture. But a sense of being entitled to the land will not stop others from taking it.
@lynnhall8720 You mean "The Britons" an indigenous Celtic people who inhabited Great Britain before Angles & Saxons invaded, & before the invasion of the Danes, followed by the Normans then Irish, Flemish, German & Russian Jews immigration. Or maybe you think your a Roman descendant they aren't indigenous. Uk is a Nation of Mongrels!
It's great to see the questions being asked that makes those with vested interests - or those too cowardly to speak up - uncomfortable. Imagine if we'd had such a thing since Enoch Powell's day. The UK would be a very different place. Reflect on that - reflect on the changes that have been forced on us because Parliament has been a cosy anti-democratic consensus for generations.

Really hope not. None of his plans made sense cost / spending in his manifesto and was heavily criticised by the media, journalists, hosts, MP's for nothing making sense. spending, cost, money obtained, affectiveness, effects after etc. All he ever says is immigration. He knows he's not speaking to those in the House. He knows he's got an audience outside of the chamber just as he did in the EU parliament. Brilliant to see again.
What I was saying is because we left the EU the border has moved so we can't deport Calais like we used to and has nothing to do with the EHCR.
