Explain.. why because he was excited?? I have been fishing my whole life and I literally get so excited I jump in rivers after fish still. Just because you lost the excitement doesn't mean he's not an angler
@@jhtsurvival It is nothing to do with excitement. On the contrary, thats exactly the reason you continue to pursue this sport.
I don't know how many episodes of this series you have watched, but in almost everyone of them, this man baby is constantly throwing tantrums, ignores the advice of his guides in waters he claims to know better than them, and the worst bit is that he is even abusive to his crew or the guide team when things go south.
Knowledge alone does not make one a seasoned sportsman. It depends on how collected you are in difficult situations, how open you are to advice of folks who definitely know more than you and how much you value the term "respect".

Saw this show for the first time and was so disappointed. Forced drama on the river "rapids" which were ridiculously small. The hosts fish handling techniques were horrible. I'd be amazed if any of those fish lived. The squirrel bait? Really? Wild Catch and River Monsters are far better.
What about the squirrel bait do you think was strange/stupid?
I can agree that River Monsters(Jeremy Wade) is far better. But didnt Jeremy use an Squirrel on his episode when he catched a Taimen?

There are two types of this fish. The other lives in the Danube. The first is Tajmen (Hucho Hucho Tajmen) and the second is Danube Salmon (Hucho Hucho)
No respect for the the fish. Claiming it is sub zero temperatures and he has a protected fishes gills and eyes exposed to the air for several minutes at a time. This guy has no respect and should not be allowed to fish for Taimen. Terrible.

@@SRTKOVA Lol you can’t tell this video is much longer and was clipped down for the show? He never even took the lure out bc the fish damn near swallowed it whole. In subzero temperatures (I.e. the point at which water freezes) the fishes respiratory surfaces can be damaged. You should never remove a fish from the water in subzero temperatures, it’s actually very widely known in the trout fishing community. And you’re saying I’m a hater for calling that out? Grow up man
