The 31 is slightly better than the 30 for me. Worth the extra price. Slightly softer cushion and better stability. The 30 was slightly wide in normal width also. The 31 fixes that.
I got the kayano 30 in size 45 wide. Since I have wide feet its good with a roomy toebox but it is a bit too roomy around the heel for me. I need to use the runners lock to lock down my heels. Do u think the normal width in 45 could be roomy enough in the toebox in kayano 30 for me?
I regret not getting that Gel-Kayano 30 in celebration of the 30th anniversary. But now I got the Gel-Kayano 31 and so far it seems better and almost as agile ( besides the bulky) vs. Gel-Kayano 29 that I had. But I still need to see how much benefits this 4D guidance system will give me.
I'm enjoying the Kayano 30. Got it on discount which makes it a better value purchase. Use it primarily for slower longer runs. Prefer the Saucony Tempus for longer faster runs or speedier runs. For me, I'd say the Tempus is the better buy. Also it was a much cheaper buy!
@@andyn6053 The tempus is a stability shoe but for me, It didn't feel very supportive and often let me aching a little. If you're wanting a fast stability trainer, go with the brooks hyperion. Only problem with the brooks hyperion is it's not a shoe you want to go over 12-15k.

I feel that 44.5 is a bit tight in the forefoot but snug in the heel. While 45 is roomy in the toebox but slips a bit in the heel. But if u use the last pair of holes and do a heel lock, u will get a better heel fit with less slippage

@@andyn6053 there isn’t a massive difference, but I think it depends how it fits everywhere else. The 30 was too roomy through the midfoot for me

I got the kayano 31 at an absolute bargain at 120 from asos

Does the tempus offer enough stability? I overpronate and have flat fallen feet.

I tried Tempus. It is lighter but it bothers my arch. Something protrudes to push against my arch.
Which one would you pick new balance 860v14 vs ASICS gel kayano 31 ?
The question I want answers for.
Is Tom a fan of Professional Rounders, or does he just like the look of the hats?
He just can't stop buying hats
Is it good for walking and standing long hours?

just what i asked on another video, thank you for providing your data!.. could you bring a heavy weight runner for running shoes recom?
Is it good/comfy for 10k to Half marathon distance? Do You recommend it for long slow distance run? Really apreciate
I wanna know if it's a good choice for my first marathon.
Def not a sprinter these shoes are like a good set of tires and shocks for a long a road trip
is the 31 midsole fixed comapred to 30? 30 sucks in mid sole, too much heat I felt when running.
Can you feel the collar on the opening on the 31? I’ve tried shoes with that type of collar and it irritated me
I did my first run in the 30 yesterday and i enjoyed it but man is the shoe heavy lol
Been wearing Kayanos since the 16. It's evolved quite a bit. They're way lighter now compared to back then. lol.
@@jt.8144 10.7 ounces is lightweight?!
I'm not a runner, but I do ;have flat feet and stand for 8 hours. Is this a good shoe for that circumstance, I'm also a pretty big guy.
It is.. go for it
Have you noticed if they strectched out or not? also is it just me or do you feel a bit of slip in the heal area.

Thoughts on the brooks adrenaline gts 23 vs the kayano 31?
I'd say the the GT2000 12 is a better comparison...the adrenaline has a high drop though fyi...12 mm I think.
@@Ginguredrunner so between those two what are your thoughts?
@@DHarbajan
I LOVE the GT2000 12. Very light, feels cushioned but capable of picking up the pace. Took a while to break in.
31 has more cushion, the gts was firm to me. I feel a tad bit more arch support in the 31 compared to the 30 and adrenaline.
Have you got the pounds and dollars the right way round?
you are hella funny man xDDD
is it narrow or wide?
There is a wide option to choose
But the wide option is wide in the heel aswell? I just want a wide toebox, not a wide heel
