I would of thought penny would be a good card here, since with the ogerpon you can reset iron leaves in the same turn. And it could make space for more crowns, scooping the ogerpon, if you need that extra little bump in damage
Was gonna comment the same thing but yeah you’re right I actually do the same in my gouging fire list when it becomes necessary
Penny is literally the best card for this deck, I’m surprised he’s not playing it, because returning the used energy to hand allows you to reuse them for ogrepawn and then play the leaves again from your hand and reset.
Built this deck as soon as I saw teal mask. Penny goes hard

You had the Ko on the entei in the first game with future booster capsule instead of bravery charm

LDF should consider throwing Wydeer V into the deck in addition to forest seal stone for added search power. FTW TCG might want to duel him if it is not included. Techno Rader is needed to search out miraidon, crown and leaves. Arven is needed to search out all item cards including future capsule, rader, bug catching set, and forest seal stone. Reboot pod is needed for a mammoth wydeer v late game kill. Town store is needed as a counter stadium to search out future capsule and forest seal stone. Increase bug catching set to 4 and increase capsule to 3 and get rid of bravery charm.

I have a similar build with no crown or Miraidon and max belt as ace spec. It was my first homebrew, glad Ldf made something similar to legitimize it lol
Love this deck: built it and instantly destroyed a Lost Box. I like the various suggestions here for improvement: I look forward to experimenting.

love the content LDF but in the first game against entei couldn't you have attached the future booster energy capsule to leaves to get the knockout because it does more damage
i used to play this strategy when this set came out but i found out since iron leaves doesnt do enough it struggles against evo decks so wyrdeer is very good with it but i only had 1 and not enough credits so i dont play it anymore
What do you think about iron valiant instead of crown?
I think with the Leaves acting as an extra switch card, it would be super good.
You could also play jet energy on a valiant, then move it to the leaves
This deck is about grass energy so i doubt valiant works plus have to add more switch

Hey LDF, i could be tripping, but around 36:11 could you have promoted the teal mask ogerpon w/ 2 energy, hard retreated into attacking ogerpon, and used superior energy retrieval to both thin hand down + have another energy to teal dance to dig for that boss? Crazy bad luck tho it being the bottom card, just wondering if that would have been any better of a play?
He could have used ultra ball to discard both Iono and search Miraidon. Use Lost Vacuum to get rid of the capsule on the activ leave lost zoning the switch cart. Retreat Leaves into big Ogerpon. Use Energy Retrieval discard leaves and Miraidon for the one Energy, use Ogerpon to draw one more and then use Mew to guarantee the Boss.

Depends on what time you play and where in the world you are. I get the same players multiple games in a row daily

@LittleDarkFury, before testing a new build, better to play against AI a few times (and concede to save time) to reset the array (index) of your deck (can prevent the arrangements aka bad draw after building that deck).
RNG of this game is not good enough.
Why ultra ball and not techno radar?
