I hate woman beaters. My daughter's fiancee hit her once before they were supposed to get married. I straightened him out. Let's just say he "moved on". She is now married to a successful, kind man. Life is good. --Proud Papa.

I'm watching this movie with my dad right now. I've seen it many times but he has never watched it before. My father comes from a strong Italian family, like the family portrayed here in this film. I am third generation Italian and my great Aunt Carmella disappeared over thirty years ago. We have never given up the search. My father was close to my aunt, she was my grandma's sister. Although I was young when she disappeared, the search for her lives on.
I guess the point of my post here, is that I come from a family who never forgets family. Our family comes from strong Italian roots and we will never give up on finding answers to what happened to our Carmella. She was with an abusive man who married her then disposed of her. Her body was never found, but our search for her has never ended.

The judge that gave the adoption just got sloppy and overlooked the fact that the order Celeste was skipping was having to bring the baby to see the man that murdered her sister. Basically, he didn't read the file before making the decision. He just saw ``grandparents vs. aunt & uncle,'' and thought a baby should be with the grandparents, that the grandparents would naturally have a more close bond with a baby.

According to the book, Theresa never confronted Ken with the earrings on that night. If she ever did, it was before, but not the night of the murder. No one except Ken & Theresa know exactly what happened...but the police think something went wrong between them that night. a fight of some sort. The coroner found lube in Theresa's anal cavity, but no sign of trauma. Her culotte pants were ripped, but still on. Police speculated a consensual sexual act began to take place, but that something wasn't going right' & Ken flew into a rage. Both had traces of cocaine in their system, but that was already known that Theresa used it occasionally while Ken used it more often. One other event seemed to indicate trouble brewing: Earlier on the night of the murder, Theresa & Ken had friends over. They brought cake & had drinks. Theresa claimed Ken made her 'a piece of pork' only so she was hungry. Ken argues that he 'made her a whole dinner'. But then it calmed down again & the women went into the kitchen alone. Theresa suddenly asks "Does your husband like to eat you on your period?" Her friend is grossed out & says "No." Theresa replies "Ken does." A few minutes later, all 4 are talking together & Theresa says something about having cramps from her period. Ken says "You got your period?" She replies "Yes. Its almost over." The male friend saw the look on Ken's face & said to the police "If looks could kill, Theresa was dead right then & there." Wow, its a real shame Theresa didn't get away from that nutball while she could.

One of my favorite lifetime movies of all time! I just found out last month the name of the movie. I just remember the storyline and who played in it, and the most standout part in the movie to me when I was a child, was the blood highlighted in the dark.

Bravo! What an excellent movie! When the great grandfather first met Ken Taylor, he saw evilness in his face and the family thought that he was being a crazy old man. Ken is a professional manipulator and conceivably could convince the Devil himself to commit his evil magic on anyone. All the actors portrayed their roles to perfection and delivered an awesome story. However, in the end, righteousness and truth always prevail!

Always putting him down in front people. He was such a nice guy too. He’d never shout back or even think about defending himself when her attacks got physical.

any spouse that kills another and they have kids together should be stripped of their rights to see the children. this was a very sad movie because not only was the poor mother killed but she was being attacked by her crazy husband after death. the courts in Indiana kept changing the rules as they pleased. those people in Indiana were crazy as hell . they were trying to protect a man who was found guilty of murdering his wife . no matter how he said things happened it wasn't the truth and those damned people believed him

Teresa should have left ken as soon as she saw that he was using drugs and then she found out she was pregnant.when she saw that he was using more and more drugs and she found those bills for sluts. and when she saw the earrings saw were her grandmothers that he said was stolen she then realized he was the one who beat her up in Acapulco. she didn't remember because he beat her up really bad or she was denying it to herself. she should have not provoked him by putting on the earrings.she should have taken the baby when he was asleep and gone to her parents house and filed for a divorce. she then would have been alive.
also the fact that if kens ex wife would have told angelas family the truth Teresa would have also been alive
