Seriously.. one of the things that I was shocked to learn was that ALL ages ,all types of people are taken. My husband was approached about jumper cables in the store parking lot.. The girl could've been one of my daughters ,but I immediately thought she may lead him to danger.. He helped her out ,but I told him , keep your head on a swivel like he tells me Alll the time.

Great movie. Not being able to do a missing persons report on someone for 24 hours is the most ridiculous policy the police have, I just wonder how many people could have been saved if the police took the report immediately. My uncle went missing and we had to wait the 24 hours, he was missing 5 days before we found him laying in a ditch murdered shot in the head execution way. I do believe if the police started looking as soon as we tried to report him missing they would have found him at his exes house being held against his will. His ex and her ex husband kept him alive for almost 4 days before killing him early in the morning on the 5 day. RIP uncle Phil...

I loved that move. Very intense. Quite a thriller, scary. Funny I just saw a thriller with Patty Duke and Richard Crenna from 1974 last nite. Very cool to see them team up 22 years later. Both are terrific actors. Thanks for this one. Scary but with heart and soul. Super good stuuf.
A few days ago I watched that same movie. The RUclips process of suggesting videos is based on previously watched videos & subjects & performers & storylines...not surprising we get this movie on our lists after the other one. ...Both are good films, great stars Duke & Crenna.

Great movie, again the public solved the crime. Think of the many cases that haven't had good outcomes because law enforcement didn't do its job.

The father was a real dope head, thank goodness her mother had common sense and drive …..

I grew up with an abusive mom and an absent dad, this is the family I wish I had. They love each other no matter what.
@sandrariver6935 I completely understand because I also had the same situation and a Stepfather who was useless and a predator. I can never understand people who are willing to complain about such loving parents. I would give anything for such a family. With God's Help I've been able to get self acceptance even though it's taken such a long time and I'm beginning to start on forgiveness against the people who have abused me. ❤ Take care of yourself

@sandrariver6935 I'm truly sorry for what happened to you and that you weren't protected by your mother.. the person who is supposed to stick by us and keep kids safe! My first stepfather would do weird and creepy things but my mother just took his side and the second one also got in bed with me never could tell her because she had said one time that I was willing to invite him to have sex with me 😢 I found out many years later that the church that we were attending ( during the 90's ) knew that some was going on in the home but nothing ever became of it. So I've had many betrayals and also know that there's people who you can't ever trust but there's plenty out there who are trustworthy and those are the ones to keep close. My grandmother ( mother's mom ) used to say well if you would just get yourself some confidence and self esteem then you'll be fine and my response was if only it was like going to the convenience store I would pick up plenty of both, lots of love, support, respect, understanding, a new mom! There is a lot of Generational Trauma on both sides of my family just as I'm sure that there is with many other people. So basically what I'm saying is that it is no wonder that my mother didn't do anything about the problem and it also spread like a wildfire onto my other family members. The best thing that we can do for ourselves is to get up and keep going ☺️ The people who have hurt us don't know how to really understand the depth and/or pain that they have caused us. Jesus even told God His Father while on the Cross ❤️ Father Please Forgive them for they know not what they do.

Great family and survival story. The cops wasted so much time. They should take missing stories according to situation and not just go by policy. This family knew Sarah and her habits better than anyone. I could prob be missing a week before anyone even noticed .

Why does the father say "it's the middle of the night, there's nothing we CAN do right now." If the police found the car, why not ask for the location of the car and go check themselves. Really the police not asking for an ID is just unrealistic and if that's how they really operate it's also disgustingly irresponsible.

It sure started slow though! I really like those two stars as well but I was about to give up on it by 25 minutes into it. Then finally it started taking off better. None of the characters are very likable for some reason though. My favorite Richard Crenna film is called THE HIGH PRICE OF PASSION. He really shines in that one.

Is still estranged from me and her siblings,,, really sad ,, such a beautiful talented girl, the religion has too many rules and regulations,, , . She has 3 children , they have grown up now ,, I cannot imagine she will ever break away ,,,,,,it’s too engrained into her brain , the religion has a lot to answer for , what goes on behind closed doors , is shocking ,,,,,, I married at 16 and left the religion 5 years later taking my two children with me , my daughter was kidnapped from school, by her father , it took me 2 years to get her back , having to take him to court ,,,It was hard for my daughter, when she was with me , she loved her Daddy and his religion , and couldn’t wait to go live with him . Destiny is what I put it down to , I love her and miss her and hope she is happy ,,, something is lost and something is found ,,,,,
