Needle Felting: The Hedgehog

I thought it was about time we got our fur on. As this is a new technique I thought it best to keep things simple so this little guy is made from one of the domes from one of my previous videos. He's surprisingly simple and a great way to practice your skills. He also makes a great gift or even a lovely addition to the christmas tree. I know it's only July but it's never too early to start getting your Christmas crafts ready!
If your would like to make a little hedgehog of your very own then you will need -
Scissors
A needle and tread
2 3mm round black plastic beads
A fine felting needle
Finger protectors
A felting surface - I'm using a cloth bag filled with dry rice
Some natural grey roving for the spines
A prefelted cream dome for the body
Some matching cream fibre for the feet and snout
Some black fibre for the nose

Thank you so much! Met you yesterday at Maker Central. Never ever felted before, never even thought about it till yesterday infact. Looking for something to do I decided for the few quid it was worth a punt! Your videos are very informative and I’ve managed to felt this hedgehog myself… ok mine does look like a polar bear with a wig but I did it thank you x
