Love these jeans!!! So wild cause we made the “elephant” bottom jeans and these jeans back in the 70’s!! No fancy tools, just what we could find and figure out! So super cool and I just love love love them!! ❤
These are so cool traci, remind me of my bell bottoms when i was young, they were faded from light denim at the top to dark at the bottom, i love ,love the grommet look & that little thing is an anvil ❤😁
I love these! I think your jean upcycles are my very favorite videos you post and I have a TON of used jeans I've collected! Almost time to get back in my sewing room once summer is officially over! (We do HVAC & it's still hot in Arizona!) Thanks again Traci! Brenda 🪻
See this is why I love this channel. These are the coolest jeans ever. Amazing work. All I can say is more more more. I get so excited when I see a new video of your. I know it’s going to be something wonderful. And of course you style them up beautifully. Tracy my friend you have my Undivided attention. I AM NEVER EVER DISAPPOINT ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love all your fabulous upcycling videos! You are so creatively inspiring❤️❤️❤️ The grommets will be a lot easier to hammer in if you get a little metal anvil. The wood has too much give in it, that’s why you have to hit them so many times.👍😊
Hello Traci...💐 ohhhh, that’s another great idea! 😱🤩 I'm so excited...!!!!😍 Looking forward to your next ideas...🤗 Until then, I wish you a nice time 🌻
Enjoyed the grommet process! I see that you placed the male half and then the fabric right side down over it. Good to know the female ring will then be on the wrong side of fabric. Excellent! Note to self: feed the leather laces thru then work it so only end of the laces will be cut off, saving a longer piece for later use.
I sold a pair of side patchwork bells but I would not want to make them again. This is much easier, minus the grommets! Thank you from Lavoie Boho NC USA 2023!
I was looking at your instagram site and found a denim shirt that is sewn like the white button down with the rows of ruffles along the edge. I love that top because it is dressy and playful. I’d love to see you do a denim one as I noticed you also put the ruffles on the sleeves. You always inspire me and I so enjoy your projects.
First I'm new to your channel and I love it😊 Your ideas are absolutely brilliant & so me. I grew up in the 60's & 70s & love most of the clothing style still yet. This tutorial is right up my alley & will be using this idea. Thank you so much for taking the time to reach all of us.❤
Thank you so much for your thorough demonstration of the grommet installation procedure! I’ve always struggled and now I know why! Love the jeans too, such fun ❤
New subscriber and loving your channel! Just an idea if you do the grommets often I use a Crop-a-Dile and it’s amazing! Punches thru literally everything! I’ve done wood, fabric, metal everything!!! Just a thought. Makes installing them so easy.
Your videos are addicting…. I have bought quite a few lace dresses and shirts from thrift stores and I am ready to start creating I just don’t know where to start??? Also I have a sleeveless cotton shirt I want to put 3/4 length sleeves on am not sure how to get started lol
My best advice is to pick a diy video and just go.😊 Adding sleeves to a sleeveless top is a video I've been wanting to dofor awhile, as I get a lot of requests for it. Maybe, it's about time🤗💛💛💛💛
Awesome I would have loved to have had these in the late 60’s early 70’s! I made the midi jeans skirt and a purse from jeans back then. Oh and halter tops too! Lol what a great ride down memory lane! What title would you use if you were to list them? Do you put the brand of jeans? Thnx for another great idea!
I would title these something like this: Upcycled Jeans Sz 6 Patchwork Hippie Boho Flared Grommets Embellished In the description I did say, "these started life as a size 6, pair of American Eagle jeans that have been altered and embellished by me " 🤗💞💞💞💞💞
They look a lot like some of the jeans made and worn during the late 1960's. Great Job.
Thank you 🤗💕💕💕

Using a known brand of jeans should help with the "fitting" question. If people know what size in a brand and style fit them well.
@@tmyershandmade978 thank you so much for taking the time to respond!
Cool
😘💖💖💖
Traci what size thread do you use?
I just use standard thread from walmart😊
I love the idea, but if I try it, I will finish the edges of the patches because jeans frat a lot. Otherwise, I like it. Very 60's early 70's.
😊
