I went on this coaster today and, as someone who is deathly afraid of coasters that go upside down, I recommend this as being a starter coaster to the world of Inversion roller coasters. the ride was smooth, I loved the experience, and the only inversion you really feel if the corkscrew coming right out of the station, but even that was fun. I'll definitely go on it again next time I go to Dorney.
Funny enough, I'm heading to Dorney this Saturday for my girlfriend's birthday. I'm a fan of the park, it's pretty good. Can't go wrong with a coaster that starts like this one. =p
To everyone asking about why we have been cutting out roller coaster lift hills lately... Audience attention spans are getting shorter and shorter. Videos over 2 minutes just aren't getting watched anymore. Anything over 2 minutes and you are wasting your time. We have done tests with roller coaster with lift hills and roller coasters without. On videos where we leave the lift hill in, viewers were more likely to get bored and click out of the video. On videos were we removed it and cut right to the action, almost 100% of the time, the audience retention was MUCH higher. So really, our audience has spoken, and because of that we have been cutting out most lift hills. On another note, if you are going to ask the question in a rude and obnoxious way toward us, you will get a rude and obnoxious answer in return. If you don't want RUclipsrs to speak to you rudely, don't speak to us like that. I don't think I'm asking too much here. THUMBS UP if you agree! Thank you for watching.
I had finally visited Dorney Park for the first time during late June, and found Hydra: The Revenge to be an amazing coaster. I really enjoyed the unique Jo-Jo roll. Nice video once again. :-)
This is still my favorite roller coaster of all time. I moved down to Maryland back in May and while I love Six Flags America (if you come here then go on The Joker's Jinx, it's such a fun ride!) watching this makes me miss living around the Allentown area, the Dorney Park there is amazing.
Last weekend I was up in the Philadelphia area and I took the opportunity to go out to visit Dorney, mostly for this ride and Demon Drop. Thankfully, both were open. I ride this 3 times and I rode DD 4 times. Great day!
I was the same age when this coaster first opened, in fact it was the first upside down coaster I ever went on. It’ll always hold a special place in my heart.
it's okay, i mean, it's kinda rough, and it has the B&M rattle but it kinda adds to the themeing since its themed after a dragon thing, kinda like a snake-ish?? like a rattlesnake??? idk but it's reptile themed kinda
I’ve been on this ride before. It was fun.Bit of a bumpy ride..Was traumatizing at the time to me and my friends because the ride got stuck. But now that I look back it was a fun time.Defenitly recommend🤣
This looks really smooth! I love roller coasters and all insane rides and this doesn't look scary at all!! I really wanna go on this. Deffinetly going on next time I go to dorney!!
Tigers Eye it’s butter smooth and is one of my personal favorite floorlesses, probably number 3 behind kraken and Medusa, but I do like it better than rougarou and patriot
First time on this ride, help up middle fingers from the start> Piece of cake. Sick drop. Sick scenery because it makes you think it's going to hit the rocks or your legs.
Hi! I just wanted to say that you have amazing videos. With my camp, I go to many amusement parks. Your videos have gotten me into rides...thanks! Anyways, I went to Dorney Park yesterday with my camp, and we rode Hydra. I saw that this was uploaded yesterday, so by any chance was it filmed yesterday as well? If it was, you might have seen (or heard) four girls screaming their heads off (me and my friends) lol. Great videos and keep up the good work!
This ride is pretty good along with talon. People always say this is boring, but I find it super fun. I really liked gliding through the inversions, and it may not have been that forceful, it was still good.
I remember I went on this for a camp trip and when the spiral happens I said oh shit and screamed so loud. It looks so slow on camera buts it’s really fast
Of all the B&M floorless coasters, this one seems the most unique for a number of reasons: 1) That barrel roll out of the station before the lift hill 2) No pre-drop before the main one 3) No vertical loop 4) The cobra roll looks heart-shaped Yes, Superman Krypton Coaster is unique in how they use the quarry wall but this just has unique elements in its layout. This, Talon, and Steel Force, to me, would make Dorney Park worth visiting.
I really like how creative the layout is here.
No u
Rare for a b&m
@@fadbob_ On my list, I have that over Rougarou.
And A Storm Runner At Hersheypark. Someone’s Xtremer. Duke’s Dozers
The only b&m with no loop
I love Hydra cause it's one of a few floorless coasters that has a total original layout
Yeah but it also lacks the force of many of the others though
Horse is black

Really video longer than 2 minutes are considered boring?
I'm the only one here that whatches videos more long that 30 minutes each? D:
DreadTank27 You're most certainly in the minority. I feel the same way, but I got to play to the audience. Shorter videos are by far more popular now.
maxwell Guenther That's actually what we've been doing lately.
Theme Park Review I'm perfectly fine with this as long as we get Lift Hills in the RAW.
Theme Park Review I miss the wees and woos.
I haven't heard them lately.
I love how much quality the camera has. The frame rate is amazing, especially when going that fast on a roller coaster.
HAIL HYDRA!

The video is one minute and 59 seconds long. One second added and it turns into a boring video.
SkierDude6 Well not turns it into a boring video, but becomes boring to a significant percentage of the world! I cut it just under the wire! ;)
Well it's not boring because most people skip the ending
That's too long eat it raw lol
Jakup FOCUS.
I don’t get it
Hydra has a special place in my love for coasters as I have ridden and I also operate it, its such a unique and fun ride to be at
Last weekend I was up in the Philadelphia area and I took the opportunity to go out to visit Dorney, mostly for this ride and Demon Drop. Thankfully, both were open. I ride this 3 times and I rode DD 4 times. Great day!
The video was so clear it looked live, nice work!
Nice POV of Hydra. I think that coaster looks really beautiful.
This one seems and sounds awesomely smooth. I'd like to ride that one!
I rode this roller coaster when I was ten and i will never forget the experience
I was the same age when this coaster first opened, in fact it was the first upside down coaster I ever went on.
It’ll always hold a special place in my heart.
Those warped variations of the inversions are fantastic
This was my first Floorless and I LOVED IT!
Ugh yes! This is my favorite roller coaster! I went on it like 8 times just yesterday 😂
That roll at the beginning of the pov looks insane.
It's called a jojo roll, FYI, and i have been on that element many times and you get insane hangtime from it
i love his roller coaster sm
This was my first roller coaster and it was amazing 🎇❤️
Love this rollercoaster, was my first one!
for your information i will never get tired of your vid's even with the lift hill which i personally like and miss when u stopped putting them in
Dude this is my Favorite rollercoaster in the world!
I loved this ride so much!!!
That ride sounds so smooth!
It's actually pretty rough, especially in the front.
You must be kidding. This coaster is glossy smooth especially in the front.
it's okay, i mean, it's kinda rough, and it has the B&M rattle but it kinda adds to the themeing since its themed after a dragon thing, kinda like a snake-ish?? like a rattlesnake??? idk but it's reptile themed kinda
Enjoy a head smacking against the harness
It’s not😂😂
I love how oblique the inversions / turns are here. Originality slaps!
Looks like one of the more imaginative B&M loopers!
Your Videos Are Amazing Keep Up The Good Work
This is a great ride! Super fun!! ❤❤
Omg you posted this on my birthday!
Man that 60fps was awesome.
Looks really awesome! :)
I really like your videos. There awesome.
This was my first roller coaster
There's screaming in the beginning of the video, yet the train is empty? Is it from another coaster?
+UnendingRideCo Most likely.

+Miah Downes same
That roll at the beginning is gangster
I was at dorney park the day this was filmed!!!
What a smooth ride !
It's one of my favorite B&M coasters
First time on this ride, help up middle fingers from the start> Piece of cake. Sick drop. Sick scenery because it makes you think it's going to hit the rocks or your legs.
It's a really fun coaster I totally reccomend it
It looks so smooth!!!
Jacob Lawrimore it’s not when your on it xd
Yeah and quiet compared to some coasters I'm actually shocked at how quiet some of the coasters are
I went on this on my field trip I was so scared 😭😭😭
I doesnt look that scary it actually looks like a kiddy coaster
Same I cant even get on it
bruh
@@desireepayne4030 I'm too short-
I was supposed to go to dorneg park this year on a field trip but COVID :/
My favorite part of this coaster is the beginning loop. I love the rest of the ride tho!
Outrageous hangtime roll
Hydra and talon are my favorites!!
Mine too! Talon was my first real roller coaster, went on it the first time when I was 11 😃
@@TheChaosDragonessDANG, 11? Im 11 now and i wouldnt think of going near it-
Wow, I remember about memories of Dorney Park.
i love this roller coaster, it was my first ever and i would ride it over and over again :D
i went on this 5 times with my friend and it gets better and better as you go on it
that's pretty smooth

I have been one all Downey park rides and was there when you filmed the talon one
This shit was so scary I’m still recovering from this
I love this ride👌
Floorless Coaster 1 was great!
Hydra has my heart

i really like the first corkscrew on the ride before going up
My favorite ride in the park
It's crazy to think I was scared about getting on this ride then when I fully experienced it, it was actually fun
This was my first big roller coaster and i was so scary i used to watch pov and i was like heck no Im good like your pov wheeeeee!!😂
I went on that ride and I was at Dorney park 2 days ago! I was in front rower but I did not scream!
If you guys go to Dorney park go on this ride it is mad fun....first rollercoaster I every liked
This will be my 2nd B&M floorless coaster I think
Very unique floreless coaster, wish they made mor unique ones like this
This was my first roller coaster I went on here
Super unique
Best ride there I went on this 4 times
Going to Dorney Park this Friday
#3 favorite just behind el toro and above afterburn
This was my first inverting rollercoaster
That JoJo roll and there is no vertical loop. Great ride.
Of all the B&M floorless coasters, this one seems the most unique for a number of reasons:
1) That barrel roll out of the station before the lift hill
2) No pre-drop before the main one
3) No vertical loop
4) The cobra roll looks heart-shaped
Yes, Superman Krypton Coaster is unique in how they use the quarry wall but this just has unique elements in its layout. This, Talon, and Steel Force, to me, would make Dorney Park worth visiting.
This was the second coaster I’ve gotten on , and the first was talon .
My first upside down coaster I went on.
awesome
