So thankful for these guys, they sent me on a mission to find the breach in my house. I literally did every exclusion possible, far superior than anyone I could hire where I live. The problem continued for years. First I thought a broken vent pipe and so many other issues. All were incorrect but I sure did a lot of work on this old house. Sometimes to complete exhaustion. I had new windows installed when I first moved in 12 years ago, at the same time they built a stand alone office against the exit of the garage/basement door. Checked all the windows everything was fine until one day I took the ladder & and was looking at the ceiling where I hear jumping at night. I see near the window, light shining through the office window from the ceiling of the office. I noticed that fact a couple times before. Yesterday after making my New Year's resolution that I would find the breach I decided to crawl all the way over the ceiling and to the window, I had my mom's sewing ruler from the fifties in hand and I put the heavy thin metal yardstick up to the sunlight and decided to fish around. What I caught was a 3/4" gap all the way across the entire window. Oopsies, they forgot to finish the window. There was no way to get to the window to fully repair it so I went outside and saw the yardstick protruding all the way out the window. Shocking. I found it after years. From the outside you could not see the breach just some missing caulk but inside you could really see the problem.
They seemed to come in during the winter more so than summer. I took Rapid Set adhesive caulk and a new door sweep out to the window. I put the Rapid Set caulk (great stuff, btw) at the top of the window. Measured the door sweep, just a little too long. Sawed the sweep slapped it over caulk and held it there. I was doing insulation work with neighbor today. Tonight I went into the basement/garage around 3 am and the first time ever no rat jumping. They were using my house as an Air b n b eating the garbage all over the block and staying in my house to keep warm. I attribute my find to these two guys, relentless, detailed, true professionals. I can't believe, a huge sigh of relief. The fear I have of my house burning down is real. I need electricians, probably foundation experts, possibly plumbers. It was hell, don't give up if you love your home,. How many of us really have access to the caliber of these pros. Very few. I'm 65 with some health issues & if I can do it so can you. It was total luck I figured this out. Watch your contractors I think I was feeding them too well and they got fat dumb & happy, also careless. The stress was horrifying, I never dealt with this in my life. Good luck. Fortunate we had really warm weather the past week after brutal cold.
You went in. I'm so glad you sorted out out. I enjoyed reading all about it as I travel home from Cirque Du Soleil Cabinet Of Curiosities in London. (I'm a Chef) Thank you for sharing. ♥️
What a great share! Great job and appreciate you taking the time.
Hi Twins, just wanna say thanks for all the work you do, your videos, information, everything. Growing up, I heard mice, but never saw them in my house until the past year. I was scared of them tbh, but watching your videos and Shawn Woods for traps made me more knowledgeable about what bait to try, sealing off entry points, cleaning up food. They still annoy and freak me out at times. But I have caught at least 4 mice this year including 2 today, so I am doing something right. Hopefully, I keep bringing them down to the point of being gone eventually. But I wanna say thanks again. Def adds to peace of mind🙏
Love how you fix the source of the issue rather than just put a band aid and trap a few.
Thanks for the shout-out. I really enjoy working with you guys. And my clients are always so happy with your work
I learn so many great tips from these videos, such as watching for brown rub marks, identifying rodents by the size & shape of their droppings, etc., it's truly appreciated!
What better way to end up a great year with the twins and their amazing videos and crew.
Happy new year’s to all the twins fans 🎉
Happy holidays to you and family juan! Thanks for all your 2022 support 🎉👊💥❤️🤩
I felt the same way when i got my rat problem. I am a vegetarian for moral reasons(veganism is hard), which put me in a tight spot whenever they wouldn't die immediately. I didn't want them to go back into my house, nor did i want to drop it off somewhere else where they could invade someone else's home. So i did what had to be done.
I give you credit for that. They are nasty and carry disease and people don't need those diseases.
just come to terms with how terrible humans are
@@Buhhhhhh-xi4ju theres a reason gurus and llamas went with such a sedentary lifestyle.
One thing I learned the hard way is that you must use the correct size snap traps for whatever rodent you are after. I caught a chipmunk in one of my mouse traps, for example. I don't know how long it had been there, but it wasn't dead yet. I had to put it out of its misery with a brick.
Keep those videos coming, I love them
Idk why but this is so entertaining ur guys commentary is making want to watch more and more.... Great job!!
Ok, this is turning into a bit of a binge session. Fascinating stuff. I love how you 2 are always thinking ahead, and verifying the exclusion process is complete before moving to the next bit. It seems like that would be paramount on jobs like this. I don't know if this would help you, but one tool that was a total game changer for me is a SeekShot thermal camera. They're amazing. I can't help but watch these videos and think how much guesswork (which you guys seem to work through quickly regardless) and crawling in tight spots could be eliminated or mitigated by using one. Not to mention, it's yet another service you can offer while re-insulating homes etc. We saved one of our customers millions in December by being able to visually winterize fuel gas lines, scrubbers, and pumps. $400-$500 and it will change the way you operate. No more guessing or running around with a temp gun and grease pen for me to create the same thing the camera shows you in plain black and white (or ROYGBIV). I'm telling you... it's worth the expense. I almost want to give you mine so you can see what I mean lol. Total. Game. Changer. Keep it up guys.
Another great video guys, remain blessed and keep the video's coming ☝️
👍❤️🙏👊🤩
4 rats back to back in the attic is insane. Love the content. Thank you for helping so many
Wow! So much great information in one short video! Thanks, Twins!
Thanks for the feedback ❤️
I am becoming so addicted to this channel. It's wholesome entertainment, and educational with lots of humor. Thank you for being you and not selling out to Hollywood.
Wow Papi, I love to see that you are in the trenches and not in the office doing paperwork. Not that paper work is not work, more that you walk the walk, with no talk and all the hard work that it takes to deliver a great product 💪🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Yay! A new video!
I figured you would find a least 6 rats. I adore the rat dance 🕺🏼 and That liner is amazing!
We adore you Eileen ❤️🤩🙏
Love you guys videos and I wish I got along with my twin 1/12 as well as you guys get along! You guys are super upbeat and informative. That pipe lining is amazing. I really appreciate how you even have sympathy for the rats. With that in mind, you might consider using live traps so you don’t risk maiming any you then need to kill by hand or take to the vet. I honestly can’t stand to kill them so I keep having to fix the holes they chew through my wood barn siding. At least they aren’t trying to get in my house since they’re after our goats grain! There’s also a super high tech trap made in Australia called the good nature A24 thats very humane. It uses a little CO2 bolt gun that cleanly kills every single one and it can kill multiple rats in a row. I ordered one online but haven’t had the heart to use it yet. If they get in my house I will have to.
I remember you fellas from the OG Powerhouse Gym in Chatsworth. Always good work fellas. Entertaining stuff.
you guys are the real deal. good stuff.
LOVE YOUR VIDS
Thank you Daniel 🙏❤️
Happy holidays from across the pond 🇬🇧👍🇺🇸
🙏👍❤️🤩
Where would we be without good ole technology ... Great little vid Twins ... Thx ...
Even tho I don’t have a rat problem you guys are amazing with your jobs your videos bring joy to a bunch to people and me during hard times
Love this channel
I wish you would publish a video glossary of products you use and how you use them.
Like the relining plumbing stacks
2:22 you have obtained Jango Fett’s pistol, Star Wars is real😂
Ear buds will keep you hands free and in communication with your guys
Nothing like the smell of styrene in the morning lol how do you end up curing it do you do it with steam or just simply a hot air application
We know you guys have a good heart!!! Great seeing sympathy for the baby rats. This seems like tough and rewarding work. But, someone's got to do it!!!
Just mice.🐭🐭🐭 At my old apartment we had RATS 🐀🐀🐀come up from the sewer through an unused basement toilet. We caught about 12 and 1/2 RATS. They eat there own.😈
I don't know, he crippled a mouse then did a rat dance while dancing to dubstep and two rats next to him :///
@@noobattackerofdoom1 😜
@@noobattackerofdoom1 ish was hilarious, and we all know the vet is code for his boot😂
So awesome, love watching your videos. The rat-dance is to die for. ! No pun intended! 😁😁

That rat dance! Ha and the lining came out super amazing smooth!
Got to give shoutouts to you and everyone who works in crawlspaces, of any kind. Im currently under a heavy industrial machinery. 👋

🤩😂🤩😂👊
Absolutely hilarious! Well done.
Wow amazing good job guys!
Where could I buy that great stuff foam from or something similar in uk Roland the rat has made a return to my garden and don’t want to keep using the poison blocks
MANNN that is so cool! When I looked at those old cast iron pips all that came to mind was how many thousands it would cost to replace. Now seeing that method you used to save them a bunch of $.. I didnt even know about that. Super cool!
I used a similar setup for Yellowjackets in the wall off my back porch. Positioned it at night and the tunnel of terror ran all day.
Great job!!!
just me who saw mold on that rafter at 2:19?
great work and great video, Happy Holidays
Glad you liked it. Thanks for taking the time to watching
Man I wished you guys was in my state. For sure I'd hire you guys.
10/10 love the rat dance!!
Thanks 🙏
this kind of rooftile gives such lovely entrance for the rats and mice aswell, smart creatures got a love & hate relationship with em
6:46 I’ve rarely seen owners managers do hands on and dirty work, no wonder the Twins are the best in the business, hats down on your hard work as well as your team 👍👍
Iv actually found that if you use fruit bar on a glue trap laid out flat works well and if you dont wanna harm the mouse or rat thats a good option i however take them out back and release them only for a copperhead to eat em 😉
Those pipe liners are some awesome tech
THIS VIDEO IS HILARIOUS
Great work 🎉
Happy holidays to you ❤️🙏🤩
@@TwinHomeExperts you too! And have a happy new year ❤️❤️
Bro this dude has some crazy dancing moves man!
The vacuum was brilliant.
this is to p!Twin~🙌
get a set of those small handheld baofeng radios they are small light and do an excellent job. It would be perfect for what your doing.
Good info, thanks a ton! Love the rat dance 💃
I've caught 5 so far, missed one last night. Closing up the entry points as I find them, but still missing some. How many rats are there likely to be in one building? I suspect they've been here for a while, this building's a 130 years old and has hollow walls. If they have been here for a while they have stayed very well hidden, their entry points just started showing up a couple of weeks ago, and I spotted one around the same time. I've read that if you see one it means you have a bad infestation, is that always true? They smell terrible, I know I would've noticed that before, so I feel like this is a new thing. It's been tricky. at least one of them knows how to get the bait from the traps without getting caught in them, and now it doesn't seem like they're going to the traps at all. Also,my dogs don't seem to be able to smell them all the time, which is very weird, because they are beagle lab mixes and can smell a field mouse two feet underground in a rainstorm, but these things will run right past them and they won't know where to go. Are these some kind of superhero rats or something? Any advice you could give is amazing and greatly appreciated! 💜
Yeah, I got those hollow walls too only cinder block. In the process of forming light weight block so as not to screw up foundation when I place block on top of laid 1950’s cinder block.
How much do u coast
You guys are great
An alternative to radios that I use as an electrician to keep my hands free. I will call my coworker and with both of us using hands free bluetooth headsets it's like we're right next to each other. I love RF radios. I'm a ham radio operator. But they have their place. And under a house like that, isn't really it. Try using hands free headsets to communicate and coordinate with your coworker across a property. It works wonderfully.
Bruh I normally don’t comment on rat videos, but this one got me 😂😂😂
😂🙏💥
in the electrical trade i have seen allot of damage to cables a person linked to a farming regulater explained they like the buzz and can re start the heart, hence i have not seen to many dead only in very confined spaces
🥳 🎉 HAPPY 2023!! 🥂 🎊
With all those baby Rats,Where did the Parents Go..?
They did the rat dance back down the sewer pipe! 🤩
my guy really just emoted on em'
Currently fighting a war against a family of Rats... the Matriarch is my great white Rat... avoids the traps, eats the poison, avoids open windows...
Heard NY has a big Rat problem maybe Twinz should head there
Yes Yes! the rat dance 🔥🔥🔥 Gangsta 💪🏿
🤩👊🤩👊🤩
It’s ok to feel bad about it, that’s normal. If you didn’t feel bad about it I’d say you have a major screw loose. I love what y’all do and at the end of the day people don’t want rats in their homes making them sick and destroying everything. On the other end it’s also a life just trying to eat and sleep who doesn’t know better than to destroy homes. Never makes me happy to see y’all sucking up rats with a vacuum but I watch it anyway to see how I can prevent anything like this, though I never had a rodent or bug issue nice to see things I may have missed. Love the work, and it’s ok to feel bad here and there were all humans.
This is all awesome share here James! 🙏👍❤️
The rat dance lmao 😂😂
Got the dance moves haha
hey twins are you guys hiring? i live in riverside and work in attic removals and crawlspaces almost everyday
Rat dance is awesome lol
I'm going to give you a like because of the rat dance.
The rat dance 😂😂😂
You let him go and he will return
That little guy won’t be able to make it back in the house.
is this la?
What happened to the last ratting video? It was up and has since been deleted. I was going to catch up and noticed it was removed.
It didn’t meet RUclips guidelines:(
That sucks! Well, keep up the good work twins!
plz make more rat traps
The first thing that pops into my head when it comes to plague levels of rodent infestation is PETA demanding that the Australian Government leave the rats/mice alone because they have a right to eat too.
I watch Shawn woods channel great traps
Great video but that cute little rat that you let go will probably move into somebody's car and when their car won't start one morning, they will look under the hood and find peanut shells, chewed wires and a very expensive repair bill.
And he goes right into the neighbors house giving you good job security.
You should check out the Shawn Woods channel. He tests mouse traps and has recommendations for multi-catch traps. Leave it for a week and come back to a bucket full of mice and rats.
Of course the Rat Dance!! 🤣😃🤙👍👍
We want more hoarder house rat videosss
Ive been doing that for awhile now, cats corner a mouse under a dresser or something and i get impatient and fire up the shop vac and suck that sucker up, no muss no fuss!😂
Every episode makes me almost vomit and at the same time I'm so happy for the customers
Vacuuming is a great idea. Now you can connect the outlet hose over to your neighbors house 😂😂😂
YES to the rat dance absolutely YES!
👍👊🤩
We had a mouse in our house but sticky traps did the trick!
Sticky boards are perfect for mice 🐁
Aaannnddd..... On the end...RAT DANCE😁
Disco Fever 💃 🕺🏽 😂😂😂
The one he let go ran right under a structure
Was at least 5 as one got away after those two were caught at once.
Ooooooooooo, I don’t like rats but I like the show first time watching you show.
The customer said, "they literally did a face lift as we understand it." I laughed so hard when she said that. Thats how woman understand plumbing. 😂😂
lmao at Peter Griffin!
Your insane! I FLIPPING LOVE YOU GUYS!!! keep on destroying rat!
Thank
You 🙏
