- Hi guys!
I think it is time for me to share my haul! These colouring books and supplies cover the last 5-6 months of the year. Hopefully it gives you an idea of the books you will see on the channel and what new supplies I may use on my pages. I will not be sharing the supplies or books that have been sent to me for reviews, as I have done previous videos on those.
I have not done full flip throughs on this video as I am sure there are lots out there for all the books I have hauled. However, if you do wish to see any specific flip throughs, let me know!

Hi Shel, regarding using brushes for applying masking fluid if you dip the brush in soap first, it stops the masking fluid a clumping on the brush also makes it very smooth to apply.

I also own the Practical Color Combination book. I enjoy the different color combos. I find the book form to find color combos much easier as opposed to the color cubes which I find could be overwhelming.

The silcone nibs are awesome for masking fluid.. but another little tool you may want to pick up is a ruling pen. It's a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it it's awesome for linework. Especially nice for hair and whiskers, grass, stems, highlights in water, etc. It's metal so it just wipes right off, and you can adjust the width of the line it produces.

Hampson offers some nice PDF packs. They aren't the entire books, but some of the collections offer pages not in the books as well. You can print them on whatever paper you like.
I watched a video last night where they were doing inktense in Furballs.. and that paper is like iron lol. It took layer after layer of scrubbing and water and didn't even blink. I think I'm doing a UK Amazon order for my birthday because I just love Diane's artwork and if it takes water like that.. I was very impressed. I keep hoping we will get them in the US but no luck, I don't understand what the problem is honestly, they would sell so many if they did. I'm afraid they are going to sell out, many of the others from this series have. I want all of hers, the Sirens book is just so cute and I'm not even a mermaid fanatic.
Great husband that gave support lol! I love R J Hampson books( just have some of his books but in normal paper) actually I dont have problems with the normal one and they have the double pages that are different of the first ones and I love the black backgrounds in some of the books. I´m in love for the mythographic wild summer but still too expensive to buy in my country ( hope one day I can buy it, its wonderful), paule brun is a great illustrator. I have the first one by her, great artist. and really wow ! microcosme is wonderful I didnt know this one. thank you for showing us. They are going to be amazing colorings in your hands for sure.
Oh I am super excited for your color along video of the bee and honeycomb page from Joseph Catimbang's Wild Summer book! I collect the Mythographic books and I have them all, but Joseph Catimbang is my favorite artist! So I'm very much looking forward to the color along! I don't see many color along videos for the Mythographic books so this will be a great treat!😊

Oh, thanks for showing the Karolina kubikowska Postcard books. I really love her style also the sometimes creepy images have something very interesting about them imo.

I have the Mythographic Wild Summer book and I love it. I am so looking forward to a color a long in that book. I too love the honey page. The artists imagination always amazes me.

Enjoyed your haul and video as always! Excited to see how you use some of the supplies. Oh and have you thought of gelly gouache for the smurfs book? I am considering getting some because the consistancy moves really nicely before it dries. Then dries really even. I am considering the Himi budget brand to try them out in coloring books. Kinda think it will be wonderful.

Oh meant to mention also I bought the stackable brushes I use to color bigger areas and I love them. I got the multicolor set from Amazon and I just match the gel crayons with each one. I wash them under hot water if needed and works great.had them over a yearned and still in great, shape

Thank you so much Jessica, means a lot!! Yes, they are similar but tips are different - Ohuhu has a brush tip and Derwent is a bullet tip. I feel Ohuhu lasts longer. But test them out on a test page - they are juicy and in certain books can go through the page. But I enjoy them more 🤗💗

My go to pencils that always work for me are the Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer pencils. I will try and share something soon 🤗💗
So funny I just got the same ohuhu blenders from Amazon yesterday. They work OK with prismas. Haven't tried them yet with any of my other pencils,curious how they will do with the Artistos. I only own a prismacolor blender marker , and it's zlot different . Ohuhus are "Wetter" . Def can't use them in Rita Bermans Books! Went right through. Anyways, thanks for all the info on all your other goodies you got!
Yes on some paper it can go through I think! I will make sure to test them before using in every book 🤗💗
Am you attach the link for the soft tools and refills you use? They look different than the Pan Pastel brand of soft tools, and they are extremely expensive for what you get
