Food bank use is higher than ever, increased child poverty. A military that is under manned and is predicted to last only a few weeks in a conflict. Increased homelessness. A below average gdp growth. Record housing costs (compared to average income).
But it's okay, because a few millionaires became billionaires with corporate tax breaks and illegitimate government contracts.
It is objective fact that the UK is significantly worse off for the average person than before the Conservative government came to power.
It's about Time there was a drastic change in how the UK is run, and that's not going to come from sunak.
Don't get me wrong I don't think starmer is going to make enough changes quick enough, but it will atleast be a start in the right direction
Starmer said resolve it by talking to the Doctors?
Voting is pointless the script says its Labours time to bend us over for a bit before passing it back again
They never involve other parties. They're forcing people to only know about their main 2
Was that a debate or a Tory party political broadcast?
No, kier was just pretty awful. Both cut from the same cloth, dodging any real answers
Don't let our veterans die in vain on the Normandy beaches. Save our country, last chance saloon. Vote reform to hold balance of power with a clear opposition.
Sunak- You were FIRED in the middle of your term. No one would vote for you again. Don’t waste your time!
Taxes are controlled by the government and need to come down for everyone ultimately.
The UK must have better minds than this. How did we end up with having to choose between these two?
It's bad, but look at the US.
I'd pick the UK any day
Vote Reform Uk. Vote Nigel Farage.
@@Hamolelklek He's just as bad. All he cares about is the EU and immigration. He'd probably like to see the NHS gone, just like the Tories.
@@Hamolelklek
No thanks 🤮
Not a single mention of sky high rent prices? When will this be tackled??
Sunak and Starmer just as bad as each other. I'm voting for UK Reform
Go back to the EU, and it will resolve a lot of financial issues ,
Still tearjerking, be quiet
What have these two said different from what they say to each other every Wednesday afternoon on PMQs, utterly a waste of time
💩 show. None of these parties are worth a vote.
When she asked about her gas bill, (edit :) sunak side stepped and starmer feigned empathy. How's about reduild the Nord stream or equivalent.
Will there be DEI policies in place with regards to national service?
Who is bill sunak?
Edit: following an edit to the post above, this joke now falls rather flat.
And can I opt to be paid in the new national digital currency so you can control my spending please. I'd love to own nothing and be something, something dark side lol
By all means raise my taxes, i dont care, I'll pay for better services, as long as we make sure companies and the rich pay too.
I’ve been saying this, but apparently the Tories love flaunting their ‘low taxes’ that have only benefitted the guys at the top and have stripped us of public services😂
That’s not what happens though, they raise taxes and squander the lot. The UKs tax income is horrifically squandered. The NHS have 8.5k diversity managers for example - an example of thousands and thousands… Labour will squander it
They should scrap their 100k income even after resigning
@@JLili12 Like £36m on a failed test and trace system, enough money on backhanded PPE contracts to pay for 11.5k NHS nurses, billions on a failed HS2 Manchester link, you mean that kind of squandering?
@@colinbooth531 yep that’s right, and then you’ve got all the smaller things that don’t get widespread attention like renting buildings for NHS practices or paying recruiters to employ temp staff…we get ripped off with our food contracts with the NHS because it’s just seen as “public” money, no one cares enough to negotiate these things to bring costs down. The result is “oh just tax the people more”
Sunak talking about foreign policy... Foreign policy that we helped right decades ago.
We were a founding member, had significant input on all these laws and regulations that he's so keen to abandon in favour of sending refugees to a country with a history of breaching human rights.
The interviewer is so one sided it’s embarrassing, she only allows the PM to talk freely but stammer is always cut short.
Stop blaming the referee because Starmer is useless. Literally almost any one in the country could have performed better than Sunak with his record yet somehow Starmer messed up.
@@archvaldor agreed, he seemed blank for the most simple questions. Lack of preparation? I don't know.
Starmer says "well resolve that" but how??? He didn't answer!
Sunak sounds like Will from the Inbetweeners 😂
Why are we not allowing all possible candidates on the stage to battle it out. Notice, we are only offered the 2 that most detest, who made this choice for us?.
Starmer has no plan to bring down immigration.
rishi is just embarrasing himslef at this point
he actually answered the question unlike keir that was just blaming
At least rishi actually had points to back up with his plan of action. Starmer was quick to criticise but offered no solutions
@@vladimirvladimirovichputin1352 What answers does he have for the Tories decimating the UK for the last 14 years? A televised debate does not make up for 14 years of astronomical decline.
Absolute mockery.
They're like school kids in a debate club😂😭
Voting for either equals the same outcome.
Whoever wins we all lose.
We need Proportional Representation. I'm fed up of this adversarial politics
If I was british I would gladly vote for Reform
Vote Reform UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I don't want to vote for Sunak but I have no alternative. Starmer? Please - he has no answers, a deputy who can't speak English properly and I am 99% sure as soon as they get into power they'll find an excuse to raise taxes. Labour is not known for not raising taxes. Farage? The guy is corruption personified - all about money. LibDems? What do they even stand for? So sadly, Sunak is the best choice that I see.
There is always an alternative.
@@Themanyfacesofego Which is?
Never forget Sunak made millions when the company he worked for caused the financial crash
rishi's done
And 😂
How ll u resolve it?
How ll u resolve it...
It was very britishly mediocre showing the lack of choice in the social democrat candidates
How on earth did Starmer win this debate.. It's just shocking how he is even a Labour party leader.. Sunak is honestly bad but starmer is just "regrettable"
At this point, I would rather have Jeremy Clarkson! 😂😂😂
Sending two people to Rwanda won't solve anything, equally, Starmer's plan will be more waste of money. We're spending 2.5 of GDP on defence but can't stop a dinghy. Who wrote these laws that impede us from defending ourselves???
Pension tax by Labour??
I am voting centre left. I support the working class, peace, freedom, democracy, human rights, worker's rights, the environment, economic growth, and equality.
Don't moan when there's a mosque in your street then. Like mine
@@wodens-hitman1552 Oh no, people practice a different religion
What a nightmare
Why would anyone complain about a mosque?
When will the uk govt. Will provide the funds for nhs
"Please, gentlemen, we will lower our voices." Legend.
Is this the best we can offer the country its a disgrace
Why are people clapping when Sunak said that he would ve willing to leave The European Convention on human rights?!
Because it's the reason he can't stop the boat people because of it. He knows gard working Britons who are being squeezed want to see an end to that problem and his clear plans to push the Rwanda deal are being sabotaged by a sinister shadow group funding such organization's...
They are both hypocrites and cannot be trusted. Talk talk talk..
Imagine These Two In a Boxing ring who would win ?
Starmer would give Rishi two cauliflower ears.
@@IamRobotMonkey your a true legend for saying that
@@COCOFINANCE *bows*
Would love to see that!
the only people knocked out cold would be the people watching it because it would be so boring, an another expense for the taxpayer
Keir Starmer has about as much carisma as an empty packet of crisps at an illegal Labour Party gathering in Durham during the lockdown.
Is this election a case of better the devil you know than the devil you don't?
After watching this I understand clearly the plan Sunak will do, his points were clear and there's direction. Starmer, on the other hand, doesn't know his policies or the direction, and it seems he doesn't understand himself. Unfortunately, I'm worried if Starmer becomes Prime Minister, I feel he will get bullied to do things by the people above, Sunak actually has a backbone.
Am I right to say Labour has no solution plan?
Yup
He did actually say how he would resolve the strikes. Through negotiations. Hes not going to say on live TV what offer he's going in with because he hasn't started negotiating yet. A lot of people say he doesn't have a plan but if you cut out the noise he does actually answer the questions.
We move from twiddle D to twiddle Dumb. No real option.
Sunak has my vote! 🎉
