Watching you pull the backing with your teeth was SUPER relatable🤣 But thank you so much for this tutorial!!! I live right in front of our neighborhood clubhouse which has a camera facing directly into my room, so I can never have my blinds fully open - which absolutely sucks because my room is small and I need sunlight. I didn't even know this film was an option, but your video RANDOMLY showed up on my feed AND NOW I KNOW AND WILL BE DOING THIS TOMORROW. Thank you!!!!!💕💕💕
I really wish I watched this before I did a gigantic window in my house 😂 great tips! I especially like your method of cutting the corners off before cutting the film to the window.
i made the mistake of using a nicked/gouged plastic squeegee. It scratched up my windows. Didn't even notice till the job was done. Check your squeegee edges!
Great video! Have a question... A local store has the roll sizes of 17.5 x 78.7 or 23.6 x 78.7. If My window is 45 inch tall 58 inch wide, which size roll of window film should I get? Thank you!
I have a large horizontal rectangular window the size of a wall. When super clean birds constantly fly into it because the reflection. This seems like it would be worse since it would be a mirror all day. The sound a bird makes when flying into your window at full speed when you're just chilling watching tv is crazy!
If you don’t want the mirror effect and just heat rejection you can opt for a ceramic film. Make sure it is for flat glass and not for automotive. They are different.
Stainless steel blades ? I had hard time cutting film w new box cutter blades as well as knife in kit w break off blades . 1 film was Gila other was real thick removable film . You buy different blades ? Looking for day and night privacy film is that possible?
Hi there, at home the bathroom window and sliding door is tinted inside. Tonight I welcomed a guest, I put on the light of the bathroom, and the opposite happened. I could not see outside and from outside I could look inside??Any advice??
The mirror effect will be on the side with the brightest light. Cheap simple fix is a curtain. Or get a flood light on the outside of the window that will be brighter than the interior light and make sure it is on at night.
@@TintHubX thanx for the response. Got this solution from CHATGPT: Privacy Window Film: Privacy films, such as frosted or decorative films, provide privacy regardless of the time of day. They blur or block visibility from the outside while still allowing natural light to filter in.
Just did my front window with this kind of film, it has a hundreds of horrible looking small bubbles and looks not so nice from the outside. Will these disappear. ? Thay don't appear to be air bubbles
Question, I get this is a new video but how did you get the drivers and anything else to link with dingi cut as you mentioned you used before core with the sc2 53in.
The side with the brighter light will create the mirror effect. To combat this effect at night you can add a flood light on the outside. Also Dual Reflective film works better.
@@eduardoaldaba its not Forsure they will crack. Its just a possibility. Professional installers follow a film to glass chart to avoid problems like cracking or seal failure.

Came for the education, subscribed because of the outro 😂😂😂😂
same LOL!

Omg , you made it look so easy. I had to take 4 attempts to do mine. Great job
Practice makes perfect! Im glad you got it done though!
ive seen that outro somewhere before
I usually line up the top and one edge that way you only have to cut twice.
I wasn’t paying attention to the name when press play on video. But at the end of the video I learnt asap. It’s currently 2:48am 😂😂

If you tint you house windows, put decals on them or birds will fly into them.
How about applying film on both sides of glass?
I have a door insert with gold in it if I put this on will the gold show thru?
Windows with reflective tint should come with a disclaimer of how many DEAD birds you will be picking up. And nooo the sticker decals do not work.
Shut upppp😂 this isn’t gonna kill any birds
The stickers had to be adapted haha
🤣🤣🤣

It really depends where you want the seem to be. Me personally I would look for a film roll big enough to cover the whole window in one piece.
This video is top class thanks
How does this work at night? If your interior light is on in your room at night? Can people outside see inside through the film?
Yes they can. But I see he’s got some blinds too.
The side with the brightest light will be the mirror finish.

What window tint would you recommend for homes to block the sun and heat? What do you use as a pro? Thanks for the video
I use kepler and Geoshield. But there is a lot of good brands. Maybe ill make a video soon of all the quality films on the market.

The mirror effect is on the side with the brightest light. I put a parts list in the description.
Where do you recommend buying film? Also, I have double pane windows, will I need a special film?
I use geoshield and kepler. I do own a business Idk if they sell to the regular public. Try contacting them directly.
Simple and to the point hum
Brilliant 👏🏼👍🏼🏴🇬🇧
Thank you

Before after from outside?
What color did you use, silver or black?
For the mirror effect you need silver or dual reflective film. Keep in mind the mirror will be on the side with the brightest source of light.

Sounds like contamination. If the film touches dirt or you did not clean properly you will get contamination.
What’s the best reasonably priced film that I can purchase in the UK from Amazon. Thanks
I used a film a bought from this company just yesterday. Used the 50% vlt. Worked just fine 💯

Call your software provider. So if it is digicut, give them a call they will have to install special drivers for it to connect properly.
@@TintHubX do you know of any that are just plug and play?
@@skitziey4619 not that I know of. I use core. 10 minute phone call and it was connected.
Hello my friend
How much do you charge for for house window?
@@xx_killer-918_xx8 it depends on the size of the project and type of film being used. Most places will charge anywhere from 9-15$ per sq ft.
What brand film
I did follow directions and application was easy but there are so many steaks and spots on the window now. They look dirty and streaked? Any ideas?
Give it a couple of days. Contamination looks like small dots or small bubbles. Streaks could be the way you pushed the water out.
@@TintHubXthank you! I’ll give it another try 😊
How to prepare the shampoo. ???
Check out my reels I have a video showing the mixture and soap used. Depending on weather conditions it can vary slightly.
You can see in at night !!
The side with the brighter light will always reflect. You can always add a flood light on the outside to help with that issue at night.
Please someone tell me what the machine he’s using to cut the film called.
Google - “72" window film handler” should pop up
Works at night?

You didn't show us how it looked on the outside when finished...
Theyre nice but I miss my natural light.
You can always opt for a lighter shade and retain more natural light. But the mirror effect will be less noticeable.
Can i use car window tint for my home window?
Its not recommended. Due to heat absorption. Wrong film on home windows can lead to the glass cracking.

Do not apply to double pane windows with LowE coatings.
I've had it on my back windows on my home for over 15yrs zero problems in direct sun 6hrs of the day
The low E coating is inside the unit, so no problem
It ruined my double windows I added them to
Wayyy too much work for a rookie..😂
No one just me
Probably a stupid question, but Is tint ever applied on the outside of sliding door glass?
Too much PHub. Nice job though
