Pretty solid rankings! Big ups for saying "lettering" rather than "font" most of the time, because these logos almost always feature custom drawn letters, not fonts. You don’t say much about complexity, which should be a consideration - if you cram too much into a logo it doesn’t read well when small (which is how it appears a lot of the time). So I’d knock down a few of your picks in the top tier (BC, Bulldogs, ECU, and Tulane except it’s just too fun to ignore.) Other rare misses: LA Tech is awful. Maybe so bad it’s good? Arizona’s is a novel way to combine the slab collegiate style with a modern A. It’s Good! My top is Iowa Hawkeyes.
I wish Texas Tech would go back to the non-beveled Double-T (my pfp). It looks so much cleaner than the current one. Nobody in Lubbock knows what the admin was smoking when they redesigned the Double-T in 1999. The original design was featured in the new football gameday locker rooms and a lot of alums are hopeful we rebrand, going back to the original. It's bad when most of your fans hate their own team's logo.

The is the Chattanooga’s logo. It’s Central Michigan.

Yeah I feel like there is a “brand and uniform” renaissance happening in other sports so hopefully schools go back to their better original logos.
I believe tulsas logo is a hurricane warning flag cuz they’re called the hurricanes
